12/06/2026: Stopped here on our way to Poitiers in the recent blistering heat. We were greeted by a lovely friendly waitress, think her name was Marie, who , after my school boy attempt at French replied in perfect English! I had the steak and chips which was cooked to perfection, wife and future daughter in law had the chicken and chips which were well portioned and tasty, while the son had the black pudding sausages which were very tasty as well. Service was spot on , enough time to enjoy a drink and food and a nice gap before dessert , tarte tatin which was lovely. Price was reasonable and value for money. Would happily visit here again if we ever venture out this way , merci beaucoup !

12/06/2026: The place is particularly ugly. This wouldn't be so bad if the atmosphere made up for it. However, the owner is very unpleasant, and his obvious lack of interest in his work seems to rub off on his entire team, even the newest recruits. To have such a privileged position, practically a monopoly no less, and yet show such contempt for his customers is shameful.

14/06/2026: We chose it for the outside space for freedom for kids, regrettably the whole experience was undermined by the order not being taken for an hour. The grumpy owner took our order at the counter with bad grace. Perhaps the place is more drink oriented?

11/06/2026: This restaurant is located in front of a pretty square, but the food is shameful. I couldn't eat what was served; it was inedible. I'll never go back.

05/04/2026: Very good, inexpensive kebab with welcoming staff. Just a minor issue with the atmosphere; it could use a bit more decoration or background music.

02/07/2026: We've ordered (click and collect) several times now, and if you don't check, you don't receive everything you paid for! This is clearly an oversight, or even theft (if you don't check). Furthermore, there's absolutely no decency to apologize for these oversights! No gesture of goodwill whatsoever. We've always been customers, but things are only getting worse with these oversights with every order and the poor manners of the employees (including the manager).

01/07/2026: The staff are still just as unpleasant. No greeting when we arrived at the counter to pick up our ice cream, no smile. We could tell she didn't want to work there, but when you work in the food industry, that's the least you can expect. We waited 20 minutes before anyone came to us, which is unacceptable for a fast food restaurant. The wait is much shorter in a traditional restaurant.

17/06/2026: Every time I order online with priority deliver it's coming much later then when order without. Not nice cus im paying extra for nothing. the food it's good tho 💁🏽‍♂️

12/06/2026: The cashier was in a very bad mood. And above all, her judgment showed a complete lack of respect. The service was very slow, even though it was late evening (and there was no one else there). There was a lack of hygiene; no hairnets were worn in the kitchen, nor were shoes protected. I do not recommend it.

12/04/2026: A pleasant surprise at this charming little village hotel. Very clean and cozy. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the bed was a bit firm for us. The bar and restaurant were pleasant and offered generous portions. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with very limited choices.

17/02/2026: Excellent accommodation, with pleasant service

29/05/2026: We went to eat there on a day when it was 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), and the menu offered beef bourguignon, turkey blanquette, or fish and chips cooked in oil that hadn't been changed in ages… The fries were undoubtedly the cheapest from Metro, even thinner than McDonald's… The outdoor terrace at the back of the restaurant isn't safe; I fell while sitting down because some of the slats were damaged and the chair legs kept falling through the holes. The manager's response was, "That's just how it is. The terrace got flooded, we'll have to redo it, what can you do?" Not to mention that the terrace in front of the restaurant wasn't finished, and this man asked me to go inside while I waited for my friend because… he was using a leaf blower. It was 12:30… In short, the setting is nice, but otherwise… avoid it at all costs!!!

25/05/2026: We arrived at the end of the lunch service, at 2 pm. The owner gave us a poor welcome, explaining that she couldn't serve us right away. Finally, the owner took our order after 30 minutes. Our drinks took another 20 minutes to arrive, with no help whatsoever from the owner, who simply replied "no, no" to our questions. When it came time to pay, the owner's lack of professionalism continued, making it clear that paying by card was inconvenient for him (without any apology, of course). Other customers were refused service right in front of us for no apparent reason. I do not recommend this place.

26/06/2026: Refusal to use a promotional coupon even though the stated reason wasn't mentioned. I've been notified by the French consumer protection agency (DGCCRF). Just respect the stated conditions. It was only ice cream, so I don't really care, but be thorough. It's not up to the managers' whims or favoritism. I won't be back.

22/06/2026: Air conditioning is great, but when you have to wear a jacket to cope with it when it's 40 degrees outside, there's a problem...

17/05/2026: One star because I can't give zero. We arrived 15 minutes before closing time (the terrace was packed with people, and our beers were still full). Our friends were already seated and still had full beers. I politely told them we wouldn't be more than 15 minutes to finish ours, and also so we wouldn't be without a drink while our friends finished theirs. It was no use; they said no, the bar was closed and they weren't serving any more beer.

13/05/2026: The glass and spoon of the requested Perrier with a slice of lemon were dirty!! Will not be repeated.

19/03/2026: The meal I ordered was very good. I recommend going here. The waiter is polite, respectful, and pleasant. His kebab shop is clean and nice. Thank you kindly.

19/03/2026: The service is fast, the cooks are pleasant and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it.
