La Boule D'Or
Barbezieux-Saint-Hilaire
04/07/2026: Stopped for a night on the way to Spain. Interiors were dated but perfectly looked after. I actually loved the sink in our bathroom. Very retro! The team were very kind, the rooms here exceptionally clean and the food was great. Had the bavette and enjoyed a local wine. Booked to stay again on our return journey.
11/05/2026: We highly recommend it.
Welcome, service, reasonable meal prices.

20/10/2026: A restaurant that serves me things I'm not usually a fan of, but that I find very good—that's impressive, being a very picky eater. The welcome was excellent, the service was perfect. Thank you!

L'Orient
La Couronne
29/09/2026: Honestly, the best kebab by far! 😍 I've tried quite a few in different places, and even though I no longer live in La Couronne, whenever I have the chance to go there, I always stop to eat in or get takeout. We absolutely love everything there, but our absolute favorites are the kebab and the maxi tenders! 🤤 They're always so good, we're never disappointed. I highly recommend them! 🔥
06/09/2026: Honestly, this is unacceptable. The neighborhood kebab shop is never available. We call practically every Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM when they open, and there's only one kebab left, zero paninis. It's almost the same during the week. Honestly, you know you have customers, why not stock up properly? From 6:20 PM to 6:50 PM, my partner and I called 32 times, seriously... One thing's for sure, your kebabs are great, but you've lost customers... Really unprofessional.

Furthermore, the hotel's setting is sublime! The breakfasts are generous, and the decor is tasteful. We will definitely return!
