22/09/2024: For those like me who like to eat at the market and like seafood and fish, there is something to enjoy at Brice, with also enough to have a croque monsieur or chicken to satisfy a group.

09/12/2024: WOW!! If you ever go to Angouleme, France (and you should)… This really is a great place to stay and a few minutes walk to the city center. Mike and family are such welcoming hosts, so incredibly kind and great to speak to as he speaks really good English if you’re like me and haven’t learned enough French to be proficient 😆. Amazing atmosphere, service and the room is extremely clean and well kept. I was brought breakfast to my room without asking, it was offered, freshly baked croissants with jams, bread, yogurt, Cafe Latte etc (proper French breakfast). I stayed in room 10 with an amazing balcony view overlooking Angouleme. I feel at home when I am thousands of miles away from home. I just can’t say enough to express my gratitude for this stay, I would pay double what I paid to stay here hands down! Merci beaucoup!!!!!

07/12/2024: Always a pleasure to stop at this bakery where the service is done with a smile and kindness. Bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches: everything is delicious!

05/11/2024: Very good variety of breads, multiple choices of pastries and sandwiches. A plus, the possibility of eating on site. Ample parking. I recommend.

20/11/2024: Passing through Mansle, we stopped at Le Colibri, a recently opened bar where the welcome is warm and discussions are easy to start with the regulars. Great ! We will come back with pleasure :)
