23/04/2026: Good restaurant, pleasant meal, unusual decor – the stork-poop green color doesn't flatter the palate – poor acoustics in the small room where we were seated. We had to arrive at noon sharp and leave at 2 pm.
The restaurant used to be perfect.

There's a large parking area for trucks and oversized vehicles.
I highly recommend this place!
08/04/2026: Good evening. We ate there on Wednesday, April 8th. The service is generally good. But today, not so great! What's more, a driver parked across the road! I reported it to the restaurant, and their response was: "I can't see anything from here." So, I conclude that drivers do whatever they want! Furthermore, I told him he had to move. He refused. So, I parked in front of him. He got out of his truck and even tried to hit me! He wasn't even scared. See the photos.

12/03/2026: I spent every lunchtime for a week at this restaurant. The staff were both experienced and very friendly. As for the food, it was simply incredible—old-fashioned cuisine that made you want to stay longer. Regarding the prices, I think they're reasonable; you get a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert, plus wine, for under €18. A fantastic find!

11/04/2026: First visit to The Chip Shop for a sit down meal and we certainly weren't dissappointed. The Chip Shop team are really friendly and service with smiles. The fish 'n' chips were absolutely lovely, and the mushy peas were great too. All in all a great place to eat, will definitely return. Thanks to everyone.

27/10/2025: Thank you for this pleasant stay in a quiet and relaxing place. Ideal for taking a break and enjoying the surrounding nature, between woods and groves. Even more charming with the autumn colors! Thank you for the delicious breakfast products and for the excellent lunch, enjoyed in front of the crackling fireplace.

27/01/2026: We go there once a month, sometimes more, and it's always a real pleasure. The meat is excellent, the red wine is superb, and the charcuterie is simply incredible. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients; everything is fresh and flavorful. And on top of that, the chef is fantastic: welcoming, passionate, and it shows in the food. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and quality ingredients!

The meal was excellent. The service was very pleasant and the vanilla-pistachio tiered cake for dessert was delicious.

21/03/2026: Just a quick comment to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the manager I dealt with at lunchtime today. He didn't hesitate to taste a drink, though 😅 Luckily, he was one of the young ones who didn't have a sense of smell, and the second time around I would have been met with a brick wall. We should definitely take a page from this young manager's book. Thanks again. (Note: The housekeeping wasn't great, though...)
