02/03/2026: We had a wonderful evening at La Cigogne. The new owners have tastefully renovated the establishment. The cuisine is exquisite and well worth the trip; kudos to the Chef! Special mention for the orange soufflé flambéed with Grand Marnier—a true delight! :) We'll be back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the terrace!

28/02/2026: One small drawback: the owners' dog has no business being in the restaurant! Customers and servers have to step over it to move around!

21/03/2026: Just a quick comment to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the manager I dealt with at lunchtime today. He didn't hesitate to taste a drink, though 😅 Luckily, he was one of the young ones who didn't have a sense of smell, and the second time around I would have been met with a brick wall. We should definitely take a page from this young manager's book. Thanks again. (Note: The housekeeping wasn't great, though...)

05/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise at La Bonne Franquette. There were four of us adults in training in La Couronne, and we had little time for lunch. The service was quick and very professional. For €16, we had a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts: a simple, tasty, and satisfying meal. Special mention to the waitress, who was very professional, smiling, and pleasant. Don't necessarily rely on negative reviews; the best way to judge is to come and see for yourself. We will gladly return.

28/02/2026: Another great time spent here. The €16 set menu offers a simple but tasty meal. It's not haute cuisine, but at that price, you get your money's worth. Plus, the servers are very welcoming and the service is quite fast.

I had the set menu (main course + dessert) with a beer for €23, which is more than reasonable for the quality offered.
