15/12/2025: It was for a birthday. Victor and his father were lovely, as well as patient and helpful. Charming place, delicious food.

13/11/2025: We came as a family of 18 and frankly, we were all incredibly happy and satisfied with the meal. There was no waiting between courses; the gentleman who served us was single-handedly handling both the service and the kitchen. The portions were generous and catered for to everyone's preferences. And all this with a big smile! Thank you so much for this wonderful welcome and meal. I recommend this establishment 300%! And what's more, the gentleman is a photographer specializing in fine dining! 😉

24/04/2026: We chose this restaurant because we could eat in the quiet garden. It was fine and the meat delicious! Since we are not very big eaters, it was actually a bit too much, but they offered to take the leftovers home. Because we are staying in a hotel in Angoulême for a few days, we decided against it.

19/06/2026: Great neighborhood restaurant, friendly service, inexpensive, very good, and generous portions. The appetizer buffet is excellent, especially the potato and herring salad and the pig's trotter. The grilled fish is superb.

14/02/2026: We had a magical time! The pizzas were simply delicious: perfectly topped with high-quality ingredients. The risotto… a real winner! Creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And the carpaccio was incredibly fresh, melting in your mouth, and subtly aromatic. Everything was refined, generous, and prepared with care. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, which made this evening even more special. Excellent cuisine, flawless from start to finish. We will definitely be back! 08/05/2026: The lunchtime buffet was fantastic, with delicious and sophisticated starters and desserts! The choice of three main courses was also very tempting, and the dishes were all excellent with superb flavors. I can't wait to go back! Don't hesitate to go!

21/03/2026: Just a quick comment to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the manager I dealt with at lunchtime today. He didn't hesitate to taste a drink, though 😅 Luckily, he was one of the young ones who didn't have a sense of smell, and the second time around I would have been met with a brick wall. We should definitely take a page from this young manager's book. Thanks again. (Note: The housekeeping wasn't great, though...)
