18/04/2026: I stayed at the Maison d'Hôtes du Prieuré for a training course in Bourges, and I was very happy with my stay. Pascale was very attentive to our needs, and the rooms were very comfortable! The breakfast was excellent.

07/09/2026: I placed an order 5 minutes ago today, the time it took to get to the bus stop. Even at McDonald's, my fries were disgusting, and the ice cream had no straw. Even though I'm a regular customer, I don't go to McDonald's anymore. I prefer to eat at Burger King.

19/03/2026: The location is fantastic, just 5 minutes from the train station. The room was very reasonably priced; it was slightly chilly, but a good sweater was fine. As for the staff, I didn't see anyone when I arrived or when I left, which I found a bit disappointing. Another minor drawback is that whenever someone walks by in the hallway, that's all you can hear.

18/05/2026: Insufficient cooking time. Hygiene definitely needs improvement because food poisoning is a real possibility. What a shame.

11/05/2026: Passing through Bourges on a Thursday evening, we happened to have dinner at this restaurant. The steak tartare was excellent, well-seasoned, and the ribeye steak was perfectly aged. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the music playlist was great. We highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: The venue is quite large and pleasant, with great potential. Unfortunately, the atmosphere left us with mixed feelings. We got the impression that not everyone was necessarily welcome, which is a shame for an establishment of this type. With a warmer welcome, the experience could be much better.

13/09/2026: Hello, I was very surprised by the reviews I had read beforehand and decided to try this restaurant. Well, I have nothing to complain about. A very friendly and welcoming young woman (Amira, if I remember correctly) was there. I was served a hamburger, chicken, fries, etc. on a tray. It was very good, cooked perfectly, just the way I like it. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be going back more often. Best of luck to the whole team!

13/09/2026: Absolutely terrible... An interminable wait only to have two mistakes in the order... a simple fish burger became fish and chips, then a chicken burger... brilliant! Luckily, the owner gave us a 10% discount. What a lack of organization in the service... last arrivals served before first arrivals... it makes no sense! Terrible!

13/08/2026: The manager was incredibly unpleasant. Yesterday afternoon, I went for a bike ride in Bourges (I know, not recommended in this heat). I ran out of water in my water bottle and stopped at the central bar to ask for some. That's when the owner suddenly refused me outright because I wasn't buying anything; the bar was empty! I don't think this person does any sport, and I hope she never finds herself in the same situation I experienced yesterday. It's true that times are tough for businesses, but to refuse 500ml of water? I hope this person sees this message. In conclusion, I certainly wouldn't recommend this establishment where the owners have absolutely no respect for the public.

14/09/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience yesterday. The waffles were served still frozen, and when we went to pay at the counter, the person was very unpleasant, didn't respond to our greeting, and had a haughty tone. I don't know if this gentleman is the owner or a waiter, but it was the first time I'd ever seen him. I've always enjoyed coming to this brasserie, but now I won't be going back. What a shame.

11/09/2026: Very good. Lovely interior overlooking the lake. Very reasonable prices, I loved my salmon steak. And the manager was very kind, thank you. Accessible on foot in less than 10 minutes, via a pedestrian path, from the Hotel Inn.
