03/08/2026: Tasteless and small savory crepes. Ingredients were the same: three lettuce leaves as a garnish with no sauce. Presentation needs improvement. The sweet crepes were better. The pastry cream as a filling? Completely pointless. Unfriendly owner. In short, a disappointment.

28/08/2026: We've been coming here every year for five years now. It's always been delicious, but this year the food is very poor, the portions are small, and the prices are higher.

18/08/2026: One of the few restaurants open late and with a wide selection. The lamb shoulder was very good, perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. Also, since one of us had a slight stomach ache, they even made us pasta without vegetables, charging us only €3 (very fair). The only downside is that the seats on the outside benches are a bit uncomfortable.

20/07/2026: Had a delicious meal at this lovely little restaurant. French cuisine with a contemporary twist. Located opposite the church in the heart of the fairytale-like Aubigny sur Nere. Great service with attention to the children. Not far from the Les Alicourts campsite. Highly recommended.

21/08/2026: Unfortunately, we cannot share our experience as we were not received. We made a reservation for 9 pm this Saturday and requested confirmation the day before. We arrived at 9:10 pm, to a waiter who told us, "Wait, I'll check because I think everything is closed." He returned and confirmed that the kitchen was indeed no longer taking orders. It seems that orders are only taken until 9 pm. You will need to take the time to explain to me how, with a 9 pm reservation, I could have had my order taken at 9 pm. It makes no sense. In short, given your reputation and the price of your menus, you could have had the courtesy to contact us and ask us either to come earlier or to cancel our reservation.

17/08/2026: We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday at the Auberge de l'Écluse and had a wonderful time. Everything went perfectly, the guests were delighted, and the food was truly delicious. We were initially offered a large table outside. Unfortunately, with the temperature at 35°C and part of the table in direct sunlight, it wasn't ideal. Luckily, the staff were very responsive and agreed to move us inside. What a relief! I absolutely don't regret my choice for this event. Thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and helpfulness. We had a fantastic time.

24/08/2026: A stop I made at random along my route. But no regrets. A place worthy of a truck stop, it's just a shame there's no parking for trucks. If I go back, it won't be by chance.

31/07/2026: Friendly, family run bar with dining room attached. Welcome and service was very friendly despite us being very unusual foreigners. Food is basic, made to order and some of it home-cooked. The cheese board is fantastic. Very reasonably priced, wine and coffee inclusive
