18/04/2026: Despite my best efforts regarding dietary restrictions (I have celiac disease), it unfortunately wasn't enough to prevent contamination. I was sick all weekend after my visit... Therefore, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone with the same condition. However, I would like to thank the staff for their warm welcome and for accommodating my dietary needs.

18/04/2026: Great place: beautiful setting, excellent value for money, generous portions, and friendly service. We had a wonderful time as a family and will gladly return.

24/03/2026: Communication is always a bit tedious, but the takeaway food is good. One of the best value-for-money options in Bourges for maki.

15/02/2026: It's usually very good. But on Valentine's Day, it was a disaster. An hour to get our food... while the takeaway orders never stopped, to the detriment of the customers. Making money is fine, but the restaurant should respect its customers. Constant comings and goings, and the phone ringing. Avoid February 14th. I'll still come back, but in the summer, to sit on the terrace.

10/03/2026: This hotel is out in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing near by. It’s a. Ice hotel to spend the night if you are driving through this area. The restaurant is great. The staff is amazing and very polite. Rooms are ok.

09/03/2026: Our stay at the Novotel was unfortunately not satisfactory. We had booked a family room, but there was only one chair for four people to put our clothes on, which is very insufficient. Furthermore, the air conditioning wasn't working in the room, even though it was extremely hot. It was possible to open the window, but it had no safety lock, which is problematic when you're staying with a three-year-old and a six-year-old. There were also no more bottled water in the room. We had to go down to the ground floor to get water from the fountain, even though we were on the third floor, which wasn't very convenient. Finally, there were no more glasses in the room, only paper cups, which is quite disappointing for a hotel of this category.

16/04/2026: At first glance, the owner, who is quite well-known in Bourges, was very sour behind his bar, offering no greeting, no goodbye, and no thank you. The steak tartare was as basic as could be, with dry, overcooked fries that were truly tasteless. The flank steak was charged at the price of a ribeye steak—a shame, I only noticed it too late when I got home. The service was pleasant and straightforward, without any fuss.

10/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise. A warm welcome with attentive service (including a vegetable modification), quality cuisine, and reasonable prices. Bonus: a lovely spot bathed in spring sunshine.

25/03/2026: What a great surprise! I came in for a Club meal and discovered the 40th anniversary scratch-off ticket game. The team explained the contest clearly, and the atmosphere in the store was really friendly and welcoming. I won a Sicilian treat—it's fantastic! A great idea to celebrate 40 years; it makes me want to come back and try my luck again. Well done!

21/02/2026: An incredible discovery in the heart of the Cher region. A warm welcome, just like in the North of France. An ode to courageous people. Generous and high-quality cuisine. We loved the communal dining experience, which makes you want to strike up a conversation with your neighbors. Finally, the value for money is absolutely unbeatable. We will definitely return.

15/02/2026: I read the initial reviews and I agree: it's a family-run restaurant, a rare find these days, with attentive staff. They even kindly offered us more fries if we wanted. The prices are more than reasonable: aperitif, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, and coffee for €28 on a Sunday lunchtime; a very good meal, and it's even cheaper during the week. I'll gladly go back.

19/03/2026: Unfriendly. Arrived at 12:00 PM and still hadn't been served by 1:30 PM. When ordering a meal, there was no menu available, and the owner was very unpleasant. I've never seen such a disagreeable manager. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.
