05/09/2024: Stopped for a drink. Lovely staff and great ambience. Rita our poodle loved it. She was treated to a drink of nice cold 🥶🥶 water.

ZERO welcome, not friendly, not a smile, really not commercial guy.
Having had the experience, I advise you not to stop, especially if you need a good break after a 5-hour drive.... to avoid

03/11/2024: Dîner en Famille. Restaurant très agréable, nourriture délicieuse. Cependant, je dois exprimer mon indignation quand au comportement du personnel. Des serveuses qui frôlent l’agressivité, des comportements passifs-agressifs. Cette ambiance ne permet pas de profiter pleinement de l’expérience. Au moment de régler la note, il était clair que le personnel attendait notre départ et nous a fait sentir de trop. Heureusement que le plus jeune des serveurs était au petit soin pour nous.
C’est extrêmement dommage considérant la qualité de la nourriture.
06/09/2024: We stopped for lunch on Saturday. A nice surprise. Because the exterior facade is certainly not very inviting, just like the bar room, but we pushed a little further to discover a beautiful terrace.
Very well received. The à la carte meal was perfect and the service impeccable.

Excellent bistrot - restaurant : excellent rapport qualité/prix et plat du jour très abordable.
Il est recommandé de réserver.
Intérieur très sympathique et terrasse très agréable aux beaux jours.

27/08/2024: A small shaded terrace, two interior rooms. A slate - magnificent -, I, from Lyon, lover of pork, let myself be tempted by a "veal's head and tongue"...I "torched" the audience. My friends tasted Berry specialties and made great discoveries. The wine list is “festoyant” from Sancerres and Pouilly.
The chef, Arnaud I think, and alone in the kitchen 👍👌, his partner, sometimes a little "under pressure" provided the service but in the end everything went well 😊.
Do like us, stop at Surry en Vaux.

11/11/2024: A business like we like to see. The staff is attentive, friendly and serious. Hygiene is impeccable both during service (use of tongs) and in the room and toilets.
Well done to this team.
I recommend it.
22/10/2024: Very pleasant welcome. Beautiful presentation of the stand and a well-stocked and respectable offer in terms of price.
The little cafe area is nice.
The only problem for me is that I was lucky or unlucky, a batch of not very crispy croissants among a batch of fresh ones from the scale and 2 from the window.
