21/02/2026: There was a time when the products were of better quality. I miss the old seafood sauerkraut with the three grilled fish, which has disappeared from the menu. The paella is good thanks to the confit pork, but it's still expensive. It's just paella, after all. For the same price, you can also go to Les Petits Plats du Bourbon, where the wine and dishes are cheaper. Lower your prices and you'll get more customers. As for the atmosphere, the music is frankly not suitable for a restaurant where all age groups mingle. Regarding the service, although pleasant, the staff's fingers wander a bit too much over the glasses and plates...

02/02/2026: Saturday night was our first meal at this restaurant, and we were all delighted! The food was delicious, I highly recommend it. We're already thinking about going back!

21/05/2025: Very good lunch. Friendly atmosphere with locals. Very friendly managers. Good, plentiful, and inexpensive food. Will do it again and again.

02/04/2025: This very well placed establishment is, in my opinion, largely overvalued. In a western theme, an entrance buffet presents nothing original or regional. Why offer eggs and mayonnaise, then egg salad with mayonnaise? (For example) Dish of the day, with overcooked rice, accompanied by 2 small lightly stuffed tomatoes. The homemade fries are perfect and crispy covering a very fine fish fillet. Only the crème brûlées pleased us. I finished with an espresso which was not an espresso 😬. Original, Tahiti beer, while an excellent brewery is less than 10 km away.

14/01/2026: We received a very warm welcome during our long weekend. Our table of seven, including three children, was impeccable despite the crowds. The portions were very generous, and the value for money was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Initial review: We regularly stop at this establishment when passing through Vierzon, but on our last visit we received a poor experience: - cold main course - cold side dish - bad burger served - required phone number when paying - wet toilets In a setting typical of an American diner, you'll find a full menu of US specialties: burgers, hot dogs, wings, and the traditional Mac & Cheese.

07/11/2025: Excellent restaurant. The food is superb. The menu is perfectly suited to the season. The chef even comes to the dining room to ask if everything is alright, which is a nice touch, as this isn't always the case in restaurants. A very good place, I highly recommend it!

15/02/2026: The overall organization of the restaurant made it difficult to enjoy a pleasant experience. Only two menus were offered for the special Valentine's Day evening, essentially leaving the "choice" between a fondue or raclette menu, with the same starter and desserts... at a minimum of €25 per person. The wait time between each order/request (water, desserts, etc.) was very long, plus they forgot to bring an starter and a carafe of water despite our requests. The cleanliness of some of the wine glasses left much to be desired. We arrived at 7:00 PM and left at 11:15 PM, with a significant amount of waiting time between each request. Speculoos cookies served with the coffee were expired… It's hard to blame the waitress only when she's alone in a full restaurant, which she seems to be managing single-handedly, but despite a rather high bill for the quality of the food and service, an apology or a thank you would have been appreciated… It's a shame because the concept is great and the place is nice…

17/01/2026: I stumbled into this very pleasant and welcoming restaurant by mistake. Excellent meal, the fondue was very good. Kudos to the chef...excellent quality and price...I recommend it...I will gladly return...

25/02/2026: We always enjoy returning to Shanghai Wok. I often order the vegetable wok with a grilled item. My eldest daughter loves the sushi, and my youngest enjoys the fries and nuggets. The desserts are varied, and the all-inclusive drinks offer a great deal without any unpleasant surprises.

25/02/2026: Still a loyal customer despite all the other restaurants of this type opening up. Excellent value for money, the owner is attentive and very kind. We are vegan and we find what we're looking for here and enjoy a delicious meal every time. Suitable for everyone. Well done to the whole team.

21/12/2025: Very good hotel, well located, it's a shame that you can only arrive at the hotel at 4pm, which is a bit late, otherwise the staff are friendly.

16/10/2025: Just okay. Breakfast is a bit pricey. The room is cold and the bathroom too cramped. You can even brush your teeth while sitting on the toilet! ☹️ Bedding needs replacing.

21/02/2026: For €15 for a Regina pizza, we expected more than just one slice of ham divided into 17 tiny squares as thin as an A4 sheet of paper and one button mushroom scattered on top. The tomato sauce is tasteless; you'd think it was nonexistent, with the Emmental cheese completely overpowering all the other flavors. The pizza as a whole is very dry, and as mentioned, you can't distinguish any of the other ingredients except the Emmental. However, the welcome and service were impeccable. It's a shame; we were just passing through and expected much better from "The Best Pizza in St. Amand."

21/02/2026: I'm giving it one star because zero isn't an option. Frankly, I'm disappointed; for 15 euros, it was a dry Regina with only the taste of grated cheese! I was only passing through, so I wouldn't recommend it.

29/01/2026: The pub is nice, the atmosphere too... until you talk to the owner! The pool table's crooked, they're out of beer, the place is empty, and the Rough Guide hasn't been around in ages...

18/01/2026: Nice pub. But the music was awful. I asked for different music, but they wouldn't let me. "This is my music," I was told. I've worked in Ireland and Great Britain and have been to pubs. I have stacks of CDs with Celtic music. I know what I'm talking about. The music they played was anything but pleasant. The so-called Celtic music they played was French "music."
