20/02/2026: Honestly, I 100% recommend this bar-restaurant! The atmosphere is super friendly; you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The owners are fantastic, welcoming, and always smiling 👍 The clientele is incredibly friendly, creating a truly convivial atmosphere. And the karaoke nights... the atmosphere is amazing, you have some truly memorable times! As for the food, it's absolutely delicious, with excellent value for money. And a special mention for the owner's round of drinks 😃 A place we love, definitely worth trying!

The meat was "just" tender, and the "meat" knives were completely useless—unacceptable for a restaurant specializing in meat! On the other hand, the salads were excellent! Very disappointing value for money; definitely not worth the trip.

28/02/2026: A wonderful memory of this stopover in the heart of the small village of Chavignol. The hotel is opposite a producer of Crottin de Chavignol cheese, a family who also produces very high-quality Sancerre and Pouilly wines (their estate is not far from the hotel). The hotel is charming, and finally: A fantastic tasting menu at the restaurant, which I chose to pair with wines from the Bourgeois family (high-end wines, including glasses of wine that sell for over €40 a bottle at the estate). The entire tasting menu was served for €40 – a real bargain, don't hesitate! The restaurant also has a very lovely decor. I will definitely return.

28/02/2026: Quiet hotel, attentive staff, impeccable service. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent, with delicious local products. Thank you to Véronique for her warm welcome, helpfulness, and excellent advice; congratulations on her professionalism! As for the restaurant, the service was perfect, and the meal was delicious. Congratulations to the chef! We recommend this hotel without hesitation.

13/02/2026: I came to have a drink at this bar/tobacconist, and frankly, the manager was really unpleasant. I was almost assaulted because she was about to close. She's really not customer-oriented and is very disagreeable. 😡😡😡🙁🙁🙁

16/10/2025: Just okay. Breakfast is a bit pricey. The room is cold and the bathroom too cramped. You can even brush your teeth while sitting on the toilet! ☹️ Bedding needs replacing.
