03/09/2024: Stopped for a light lunch. Lovely welcome, quickly seated despite it being quite busy.
We both enjoyed the flavoursome house pate followed by cheese omelette & a delicious bavette.

18/12/2024: My parents visited last week and the heating in the room was a plug-in oil bath which was very noisy and moderately efficient. There was no heating in the bathroom either. Too bad for this price of 98€.
In addition, departure at 10 a.m. but we did them a favor by letting them leave at "11 a.m. last carat" knowing that in low season, the hotel was not full. There were also 3 people, the schedule could have been extended to 12 p.m., it would have been more commercial.
At the restaurant the menu only presented dishes for €32! The food was certainly good but no one offered them the Step menu which was certainly cheaper.
18/11/2024: We ate at the restaurant during our vacation in Aubeterre. What a delight!! The starter was amazing… we have never had such delicious squash soup 😋, it was so good!
And what followed was a treat too. Thanks to the chef and the kitchen team!! 💪🏻
The owner of the establishment who served us is adorable. His tourist advice was very good 👍.
We will come back to show Aubeterre and all this beautiful region to my father and stay in this hotel, which we loved!

04/09/2024: Our new go to spot - great honest food - lovely staff - dog friendly - nice price - partially in the open air so wrap up on a cool night.
29/08/2024: We sat down and asked for a table at 6.30pm but were told it was fully booked all evening despite being almost empty at that point and no reserved signs. We asked if we could just stay for a drink but they said only for 20 ‘
minutes..an hour later we were still finishing off our drinks and there were still most tables available. We asked again if we could stay to eat but were told no. The waiter was very brusque and impolite and it was clear that we were just not wanted, perhaps they only take booked reservations but we still felt it was very rude the way they spoke and dealt with us. As we passed there again about half an hour later the table we were at was still empty. Would not come again.

17/08/2024: Arriving in Périgueux, we were to be accommodated in an Airbnb apartment whose reservation was canceled by the owner 1 hour before our arrival. Finding ourselves without accommodation for 6, I contacted the Le Saint Pierre hotel and there Oh miracle, I was offered rooms and we go out of our way to find a solution and help us. Saviors! You should know that I had contacted a dozen hotels that were full or too expensive.
The location of the hotel is very good, the breakfast was plentiful and we were very well received by the 2 owners 😊
