01/04/2024: I rediscovered this little store since my retirement and honestly it's the best. Always well received. Listening to customers, it's definitely better to have no large stores and not always more expensive.

30/09/2024: there were 22 of us split over 4 tables. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Huge thanks to Eric, Cathy and the staff for accommodating us all. We'll certainly return we we travel to France again next year

09/07/2024: Accueil des serveurs parfait service parfait mais alors quand tu croises la patronne, une folle furieuse on l’avait pas vu on a omis de lui dire bonjour elle nous a agressé direct une tarée heureusement que c’est juste sur notre passage plus jamais j’y retournerai. Bon courage à l’équipe pour la supporter. Payer 35 € pour boire un coup et manger une glace et se faire agresser juste pour aller aux toilettes. Je trouve ça inadmissible.

03/09/2024: Très déçue.... A 14h30 ce mardi 3/9/24, il y avait très peu de clients et lorsque j'ai voulu choisir une place, toutes les tables étaient sales!! C'est très désagréable ! Une petite table près du fauteuil était à peu près utilisable sans trop se salir. Un couple est arrivé et a eu beaucoup de mal a trouver une place correcte et ont pris la moins sale. Je n'irai plus dans cet établissement et j'irai peut-être à la concurrence.

10/12/2025: The sign says they're open from 5:00 PM to 10:45 PM, but I called several times to order between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM and no one answered. If the establishment doesn't want to make pizza or take orders, they might as well close down. Disappointed because, in my childhood memories, they served good pizzas and always had a warm welcome.

22/09/2025: In terms of value for money, we're there, the pizzas are good, certainly a bit industrial but not disturbing and what's more, they're open on Mondays.

25/08/2024: Les glaces sont excellentes ! Goûteuses à souhait. Par contre le personnel bien qu’aimable semble plus intéressé à rire entre eux que d’interagir avec les clients.

17/08/2024: À eviter. Service déplorable (et il ne manque pas de personnel). Deux coupes de glace et une boisson commandées. Une seule coupe de glace servie, et il faut attendre patiemment que la boisson et la seconde coupe arrivent. Pendant ce temps, la glace fond (ben oui, on est en plein mois d'août !) mais ça n'émeut personne 😕. Qui plus est, on nous donne une cuillère à moka pour manger des glaces servies dans des coupes hautes. Obligés de se lever pour aller chercher une cuillère adéquate. Pourtant, il y a bien écrit "glacier" sur la devanture 😡. Il y a meilleur, et beaucoup mieux, un peu plus haut dans dans la rue piétonne. Les métiers de la restauration ne supportent pas la médiocrité. Laissez faire les pro, ou apprenez les bases à vos équipes, c'est un minimum ...

17/08/2024: I spent a week's holiday in August with my fiancée at La Sapinière. Marc gave us a wonderful welcome and made our stay truly memorable thanks to his kindness and his ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. The location is superb, the cottages are spotless, and the grounds are charming. Special mention goes to his cooking and his Spritz – “the real Spritz, not Aperol!” A place to discover and share when visiting the Périgord region – we'll be back! Thanks again, Marc, for this fantastic and rejuvenating stay.

05/07/2024: A perfect stay, both in the cottages and the restaurant. The cottages are very spacious and clean, with terraces overlooking the grounds. Numerous activities are available (gym, swimming pool, cycling, etc.). A peaceful and beautifully designed area. The restaurant offers dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Thank you to Marc for the warm welcome, good humor, and friendly atmosphere.
