15/08/2024: Très bonne découverte à Excideuil. Carte petite car tout est cuisiné maison par une charmante dame. Accueil parfait. Ça vaut le détour de s’arrêter manger chez elle. Restaurant sur une place très agréable.

30/08/2024: Soyez assuré de trouver dans ce restaurant un accueil super. La salle est magnifique. Vous verrez les grands chefs en photo. Nous sommes ravis de notre dîner hier. Magnifiquement travaillées les assiettes sont un régal. Bravo au chef. Excellent service en salle. Merci encore Cathy et Gustave

14/07/2024: Très bon accueil dans un lieu chic et raffiné, personnel très à l'écoute pour un service impeccable. Carte réduite, gage de qualité, produits frais très bien travaillés. Un bel endroit pour fêter une occasion ou tout simplement pour se faire plaisir. A faire sans hésiter.

22/08/2026: Beautiful property, but definitely not dog-friendly The property looks beautiful, but unfortunately this has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences of our trip through France. The biggest issue is that the hotel advertises itself as dog-friendly, when in reality it really isn’t. Of course, I understand that I cannot bring my dog to the spa 😀, and I can even understand restrictions inside the restaurant or bar. But not even on the outdoor terrace? Especially when we had asked about this beforehand. Even more disappointing was the attitude of the staff. They were not solution-oriented at all. Nobody suggested room service, somewhere else on the property where we could eat with our dog, or any other alternative. It was basically their way or the highway. This is particularly inconvenient because the hotel is some distance from town, meaning the alternative is to get back in the car and drive somewhere else for dinner. The hotel itself is okay, but nothing more. It feels in need of an update, particularly the bathrooms. We also paid extra for a private terrace, which could have been cleaner and better equipped — even proper sun loungers would have made a difference. After travelling through many parts of France and experiencing wonderful hospitality, sadly the service here has been the low point of our trip. Please don’t advertise yourself as dog-friendly if you aren’t genuinely prepared to accommodate guests travelling with dogs. Nice-looking property, but for us not worth the price and definitely not somewhere we would return to or recommend.
