15/02/2026: A successful Valentine's Day evening… well, at least for the restaurant. Upon arrival, we weren't really sure where to go, and it was quite chilly, which didn't create a very welcoming atmosphere. The tables were very close together, clearly designed to cram in as many people as possible. A couple next to us weren't even sitting opposite each other, their table being in a corner… not ideal for a Valentine's Day evening. The starter was decent, nothing special. The main course, however, was very good, which made the rest of the meal seem even more inconsistent, as if it were a completely different cuisine. The dessert was disappointing, featuring strawberries on February 14th, tasteless and clearly out of season. It's a shame, because the potential is there, but the whole experience lacks coherence and, above all, a sense of self-reflection. For a special evening and a set menu, we expected much better.

03/12/2025: I go to the drive-thru in the morning. A real ham and butter sandwich with good butter and good ham (and of course, good bread). That's becoming increasingly rare!

26/01/2026: A flawless vegan experience! The buffet: A delight. Every dish is flavorful, sophisticated, and expertly prepared. This is far from your average buffet. Here, you can feel the true culinary mastery. Total peace of mind: It's wonderful to be able to choose any dish without having to ask a million questions about its ingredients. A true haven for vegans. The highlight: The tea! Don't leave without ordering one. The selection is impressive, and the teapot service is simply exquisite. In short: A warm welcome and cuisine that do Besançon proud. I will definitely return.

17/01/2026: I ate lunch there. The vegetarian buffet concept is great, the food is good quality, however, the dishes were too salty and greasy for my taste. The dining room wasn't heated enough; I went on a very cold day and couldn't get warm inside. The service, however, was perfect.

25/10/2025: I've been a customer for years...the only ones who manage to make me eat ketchup! Their homemade mayo and ketchup are delicious! Always well served and generously! Their bread is also super good as well as their fries! Really, if this snake has existed for many years and hasn't experienced the crisis, it's not for nothing!

03/01/2026: Had a hot chocolate here a couple of months ago and it wasn’t great but it was passable. Went there again with my family now and the hot chocolate was nothing but drinking chocolate powder mixed with water and milk. Shouldn’t even be allowed to call it hot chocolate. The place is cozy and cute but never coming back.

24/01/2026: WARNING: Since the 74-year-old owner decided to stop, and we understand why... there's no more pasta on the menu... Impeccable service! The pizza crust is excellent... But I came for the delicious pasta... Oops!

22/01/2026: An intimate, rustic restaurant with just a few tables, but a perfectly balanced atmosphere, away from traffic in a quiet neighborhood. Soft lighting and the warmth of the authentic wood-fired oven warm the atmosphere. Traditional menu, mostly pizzas, and a few typical Italian specialties of the day. Fine wines. I was looking for a good Italian pizza, and here, the expert hands of a very kind and welcoming manager with a Romagna accent, churned out one of the best 4 Formaggi I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

12/02/2026: So disappointed compared to last year... the wait was long... the pizzas were dry, and the dessert menu was rather limited. What a shame...

13/01/2026: So happy and so convenient to be able to rely on MetaPizza on evenings when I want to treat myself and/or I'm too lazy to cook. The pizzas are very good, the burgers even better!

31/10/2025: I've stopped at this bar/tobacconist several times, but it's always the same. The blonde woman who works at the tobacco shop is nice. Her colleague, who's about 60 years old, well, I think it's time for him to retire. And then there's the waitress at the bar, who's always so grumpy and spends all her time complaining. I hope she at least enjoys her job, otherwise her days must be long.

22/10/2025: Hello, the welcome and politeness are not the order of the day in this tobacconist's. In fact, this afternoon the young employee had a lot of trouble getting rid of her cell phone before serving me and I was not given a "goodbye and thank you" when I left! I hope that in the near future the welcome and attention paid to customers will be corrected, thank you.
