A €55 menu including a palate cleanser, cheese, and a selection of desserts is fantastic. The service is top-notch, and the waiters/waitresses are very professional and friendly. For the dessert selection, try this restaurant in a stunning thatched-roof house.

25/04/2026: We tried the new menu and have no regrets. From the goat cheese tart (made with local products) to the 100% vegetable lasagna, and even the meat dishes on the menu, right through to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was pleasant and excellent.

22/05/2026: I'm from Besançon and know the Tandem bar and its good reputation quite well. However, on Friday, May 22nd, a friend and I went for drinks on the terrace. We enjoyed several beers in the sunshine and a charcuterie and cheese board. A great start to the weekend! 😎 The waitress was very friendly. But around 9 pm, just after I'd finished my drink, the owner came over and started cleaning the table insistently, making it clear that it was time to leave and vacate the table, saying, "I have to earn a living." We left without saying a word—we're usually quite polite—but we were very shocked. I'll definitely tell all my friends in Besançon about this experience. We'd had several drinks and eaten, and then we were kicked out as soon as we finished our drinks? We were stunned! From now on, I'll go for drinks elsewhere. There are so many nicer bars where you don't get kicked out as soon as your glass is empty. A word to the wise!

09/01/2026: AMAZING RESTAURANT! The staff are lovely, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable! I'm lactose intolerant, and they made me a soy cream—they were incredibly kind and attentive! I highly recommend it!

07/04/2026: I ordered a doner meal to take away yesterday. When I got home, I ate it, but the bread smelled like it was stale, so I threw it straight in the bin. I spent two whole night in the bathroom. Never again in my life! They only think about money, not hygiene or the well-being of their customers.

15/05/2026: A small, cozy restaurant serving traditional French food. We ordered a fondue, which came with salad and cured meats. They bring a very generous tray of bread for dipping. Personally, I didn't enjoy the fondue because of its texture—partly liquid and partly lumpy—but my companions thoroughly enjoyed it.

03/05/2026: The service was extremely slow; it took over half an hour to pick up our order even though it wasn't that busy. The food was very good, but I recommend ordering a starter to be fully satisfied; the main course alone won't be enough.

15/04/2026: The kitchen staff were appalling. Despite my arrival at 1:10 PM, they turned me away with the tact of a movie and made it clear I would be bothering them by eating at that hour (despite advertised hours until 3 PM). These are the same people who will complain about a new McDonald's opening in the area. I'm thrilled to be able to get a steak at 2:10 PM at the competition.

30/04/2026: Hikers from the Oise region. We stayed for 5 days at this establishment. Our room, with a balcony and a view of the Loue River, was simple but comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was as pleasant as possible; THANK YOU. The food was excellent and of high quality. A place to remember!
