The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. We came as a group of five, and the service was completed in less than 15 minutes, which was much appreciated! After trying the lamb shank and the ribeye steak, I will definitely be back to try the burger.

07/10/2025: For me, the best dish of the day in Besançon, with a varied traditional cuisine that changes every day, everything is homemade from starter to dessert, everything is excellent, with a price of 24 € for the menu starter, main course, dessert, a must in Besançon!!! Only downside, book a little in advance if you want to find a place, all the service staff are more than friendly and smiling, like Félix the owner of the place who never comes to thank you and shake your hand at the end of the meal... just the best.

20/12/2025: We celebrated Christmas a little early this Saturday at the banks of the Doubs. The room was beautifully decorated, the atmosphere cozy, there was a fire in the fireplace, the welcome was very friendly, and the food was truly excellent, from the aperitif to the dessert! A very good place that I highly recommend.

06/01/2026: This town was just a stop on our journey, but in the heart of winter, it offered us one of the most comforting moments of the trip: a piping hot Vietnamese fondue. From the moment you step inside, the decor immerses you in a familiar, authentically Vietnamese atmosphere. The menu features classic dishes—pho, bún bò, fried rice, and fondue—with equally delicious side dishes. As a Vietnamese person myself, I was touched by the authenticity of the flavors. Add to that the kindness of the owners, generous portions, and affordable prices: this place was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend it.

16/02/2026: Hong Kong, Hong Kong... isn't a destination, but a pause. A warm enclave in the grayness of Besançon, welcoming and inexpensive. We ate there without fanfare, but consistently, and that was enough to warm our souls more than our plates. The mass-produced desserts left a slight impression, like a reminder that every refuge has its limits. Thank you to Mayoké for inviting me to this little place.

19/11/2025: We visited this small, local French restaurant as tourists – and were absolutely delighted. The restaurant is only open from 12 pm to 2 pm and offers a different lunch menu each day. For €16, you get a complete package that's hard to find. As soon as you sit down, the very friendly owner brings a bottle of water to your table, along with a small carafe of wine (your choice of white, rosé, or red). This is followed by a starter and a main course – and the portions are generous! You'll definitely leave more than satisfied. Afterwards, cheese is offered (we were too full), followed by dessert, and finally, coffee – all included in the price. The quality of the food is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasantly local and authentic, and the value for money is unbeatable. A true highlight of our trip – we'll definitely be back!

13/10/2025: A superb discovery near the source of the Loue River! A menu of starter, main course, cheese, dessert, a quarter of a glass of wine, and a coffee for only €16! Plus, everything is fresh, homemade, and cooked with passion. I often frequent many restaurants, but this is the first time I've seen such value for money... hats off! The hygiene is impeccable. And to top it all off, the owners are lovely and bikers: they gave me excellent advice on the most beautiful roads in the region. In short, you get the idea: 5 stars, and it's a shame we can't give more! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Update March 2025: Still just as fantastic. Despite a busy restaurant, the service was top-notch, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. It truly is a quality restaurant. Our 8-year-old daughter was with us and was able to discover the inn's cuisine and whet her appetite for tomorrow... Update October 2025: Still just as good! The Bresse chicken was incredible, paired with a glass of wine from the Rhône... I wanted to go back before closing time. We'll miss you.
