10/01/2025: I agree with the previous negative comments, one of the managers is hateful. Already the response to my hello was forced and judging by the face that Monsieur made he already seemed at the end of his rope at 10 a.m. I politely ask if I can move a chair to a table that was empty, and then, unfortunately, I am rebuffed in a haughty and condescending manner. A simple no would have been enough, no need to use an inappropriate tone. I had already noticed this lack of professionalism during my previous visits but it was some time ago, so I wanted to try the experience again and well it was the last and at the right time. When you don't like people you don't open a business, some people don't deserve to stay open sincerely.

02/01/2025: The setting is very pretty, the food tasty and the staff very attentive and friendly. On the other hand, the owner seems less inclined to respond to the wishes of customers...

30/11/2024: I wanted to eat pasta alle vongole. When I called the restaurant they told me that there was none on the menu but that they could make some for us without any problem for the evening. They were succulent. Everything was perfect, the waiters were all extremely nice, the setting was pleasant, we had a great time. Thank you again for taking the time to make a dish especially for us with fresh, quality products.

15/11/2024: Very friendly Chinese restaurant, all-you-can-eat buffet, excellent and varied dishes, very good coffee. Attractive prices especially at lunch. Competent and friendly staff. The spring rolls and spring rolls are delicious... We come there a few times with pleasure but we also order dishes delivered to the house, the delivery is fast and the order remains hot.

12/10/2024: It's supposed to be Vietnamese, but I don't know what kind of food it is. Even though there were a lot of empty tables at 8pm, it seemed like they were fully booked, probably because they close at 9pm. I watched it for about 10 minutes. I don't feel like anyone is coming in. In fact, it would have been better if they had told me that I couldn't come in because it would be closed. When I looked at the food, it looked oily and tasteless. I'm glad I didn't go in.

13/12/2024: Les bonnes tables au centre d´Ornans devenaient de plus en plus rares, jusqu´à la reprise de ce restaurant au rez-de-chaussée de l´hôtel de France. Cadre chaleureux, accueil très sympathique de la patronne, qui s´occupera également de tout le service en salle. Plats savoureux, classiques, cuissons maîtrisées (notamment les belles Saint-Jacques, ou le cerf), mais portions un peu exagérées (surtout pour les plats) : quel dommage de ne pas toujours arriver à tout finir... Un peu plus de légèreté, et un brin de créativité, serait bienvenus. La carte des vins pourrait s´ennoblir de quelques références un peu plus haut de gamme. Mais ce qui est le plus dommage, c´est le service : il manque clairement une personne en plus pour épauler la patronne, qui peut vite se laisser déborder par des clients bavards, entrainant une attente un peu anormale pour d´autres tables (dont la nôtre). Au final, une bonne expérience, et surtout la satisfaction de savoir où très bien manger à nouveau dans le centre-ville.

30/10/2024: Hôtel de qualité, très propre, bien tenu, personnel très agréable. Seul bémol, des escaliers raides et pas d'ascenseur. Le restaurant ne dépend pas de l'hôtel pour l'instant et vaut largement le détour tant la cuisine est remarquable ainsi que l'accueil.

A big thank you to the waitress for the little attention for my birthday! PS: full restaurant every evening, remember to book (I recommend 2-3 days before)
