04/05/2026: Arrived without a reservation for lunch on May 1st. We were quickly given a table. Very pleasant dining room. A great set menu (even though it was May 1st) for €18. Very well-prepared dishes. Fresh, local produce. Friendly service. Inn near the departure point for the boats going to the Saut du Doubs waterfall. We'll gladly return!

I thoroughly enjoyed my Caesar salad, which was beautifully presented, delicious, and prepared with care. The value for money is very good considering the quality of the ingredients and the service.
I highly recommend this place.
07/06/2026: Local cuisine served with a smile and great warmth in a very pleasant setting. The birthday cake for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday was a delight, very light (my son is a pastry chef, so I have a point of comparison). Well done to everyone!

12/06/2026: Fantastic welcome, very attentive, delicious meals and picnics (sandwiches at lunchtime at the summit of Les Monges and we thoroughly enjoyed the tabbouleh in the evening at the Cabane de Chine :o), very comfortable room, breakfast available early in the morning – nothing but good things to say about this one-night stop (May 30, 2026) on the Art Refuge Tour. 27/07/2026: Back from our holiday in the Jura region, we were looking for a restaurant open for Sunday lunch. Don't be fooled by my first impression of the restaurant's exterior, because the food and service are excellent.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The cooking and flavor combinations were perfect.
Special mention goes to the waitress, who was very welcoming and friendly.
24/07/2026: It was the last evening of our vacation. The food was perfect and the portions generous (royal pan-fried steak with a cognac sauce and the "éminence" pan-fried steak... a delight. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures). The desserts were also perfect and homemade; see the photos.
The lady who served us contributed to the success of the evening. Thank you to her for her smile and her enthusiasm in guiding us through our meal choices. We will return on our next trip to the area.

19/04/2026: Very disappointed. The service was terrible; we had to go get the bread ourselves... The children's menu had no choice, so we had to order a pizza. Luckily they added ham to the pizza because there wasn't much on it, and no more nuggets...

31/03/2026: I received a very warm welcome. The menu was mouthwatering, with its diverse selection of dishes, all fresh and expertly prepared. The meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection, as was the seasoning. I enjoyed a small, local beer, which was very good. It's clear that every dish is prepared with care; in fact, the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening. The price, which might seem high at first glance, is fully justified by the quality of the food and the impeccable service. Thank you.
