28/09/2024: Specializing in coves, with a huge choice, but you can also have a salad, or meat or fish. Dessert side: very good waffles, ice cream sundaes, and traditional desserts served in restaurants. The room is not very big so remember to book at the end of the week. In summer, outside terrace.

10/11/2024: A successful birthday meal (92 years and 18 guests). A warm welcome, the staff very friendly, serious and efficient. The room and the terrace were crowded. The service was constructive and quick, without too much waiting. The quality of the meal was excellent: careful preparation and exquisite flavors. The head chef toured the tables at the end of the meal, which was very appreciated. I recommend this restaurant, and I advise booking in advance.

Restaurant dans un emplacement agréable terrasse extérieure
24/08/2024: Une cuisine bien faite, légère, de saison, beaucoup de produits locaux, dans le cadre d’un menu 3 entrées 3 plats (dont 1 veg), 3 desserts à 30€. apéritif et vin (dont beaucoup de bio et de local) à des tarifs également très raisonnables. Service super pro et souriant.
1 seul point d’amélioration (mais qui ne nous empêche pas de mettre ce 5*) , les glaces qui sont des Carte d’Or lambda (du coup on a pris des « vrais » desserts, un excellent tiramisu abricot romarin) alors qu’il y a de super glaces locales (glaces Merlin qu’on a trouvé à l’épicerie de Beaufort par ex).
Excellente continuation à l’Ami Rabel!
Pas d’hésitation, on y retourne.

04/09/2024: I often go there for lunch with the team from the Ncs Motor garage, South Pub and South Covering, the full lunch menu is €19.90 for the quality of the dishes, it's really great value for money, I I enjoy it every time ☺️

12/12/2024: Mon amie et moi avons été déjeuner à Valence. Le restaurant Le Cèdre vaut vraiment le détour. C’était absolument délicieux 😋. On vous le conseille fortement Ne vous arrêtez pas à l’aspect extérieur, poussez la porte et vous partez pour un beau voyage 😃👍

20/03/2025: Excellent address for pizza lovers! Pizza St Do offers generous, well-filled pizzas with tasty dough. The ingredients are quality, and you can feel it from the first bite.
The welcome is always warm, with fast and efficient service. Special mention for the special pizzas that are out of the ordinary and worth the detour. A safe bet to enjoy. I recommend without hesitation!

For us it's frozen

We reported it to the owner, she told us that the pizza was homemade.
For having discussed it with residents of Lus; our opinion overlapped with theirs, particularly for homemade fries that were ultimately frozen

29/08/2024: Very warm place with inspiring and original decor. The staff is super friendly and smiling. We had vegetarian burgers which we recommend as they were excellent. The prices are very affordable too.
In short, ideal place to eat good things, while having a pleasant time.
28/08/2024: Very intimate "cour" with a 35-year-old vine as a roof. There is nothing wrong with the food, but it is quite expensive for what is offered.
There will be a different owner/operator as of September, so maybe something will change.

02/09/2024: Awesome !!. We found ourselves at 7:45 p.m. without any restaurant open near Hauterives. We called La Châtaigneraie, about 17km away for a 20-minute drive. We were told no worries. And frankly it's worth the detour. The welcome is very friendly and warm from the waiter and the owner. The setting is pleasant and we ate really well for a very reasonable price. Don’t hesitate to climb up to eat in this very friendly place 👍😉

The dishes are very good! We feel that chef Paul is passionate about cooking.
What can we say about the servers Théo, Noha and Jeremy who are attentive and full of humor!!!
Family restaurant where it's nice to take a break, even just for a dessert or a drink. The setting is very pleasant.
