19/05/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation.
An extremely disappointing experience from beginning to end. The welcome was deplorable, the staff clearly lacked professionalism, and the way they spoke to customers was unacceptable.
The most shocking thing was the manager's attitude, who dared to tell me, "It's better if you don't come back to my restaurant," simply because I pointed out poor service. I have never seen a manager react so disrespectfully to a customer.
Instead of listening to feedback and trying to improve the situation, they prefer to disrespect customers. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in the restaurant industry.
I strongly advise against this establishment. Personally, I will never set foot in it again, and I advise others to avoid this place if they want to be treated with even a modicum of respect.

30/06/2026: The only restaurant within 20km of La Ronde, we called ahead to make sure it was open. It was already 8 pm and we were able to eat without any problem. The waitress was very welcoming. The prices were reasonable. We will gladly return.

05/07/2026: Today, Saturday, July 4th, we arrived at 3:50 PM for lunch at 4:40 PM. We were treated to a truly awful comment. We absolutely had to get takeout because the owner didn't want to put up with us inside, despite almost all the tables being available. We could have eaten at a table outside in the blazing sun, sure. Well, no, we eat in the shade, not in direct sunlight. Faced with his refusal to let us in, we left. In fact, we'll never go back. Too bad for him, because we belong to a judo club and could have been good customers, as it's quite busy at certain times. Never mind, we'll go somewhere else.

20/07/2026: The products themselves were fine, but the woman who served me, wearing a pink T-shirt, glasses, and a bun, was incredibly unpleasant. She didn't smile and her responses were very curt. The orange juice machine wasn't working, and she just blew on it. It's a shame for the store's image; it makes me not want to go back.
02/07/2026: I went to La Mie Câline to buy a cookie, which I unfortunately left on the counter when I left. Once I got home and realized my mistake, I called to explain the situation, hoping for at least a small gesture of goodwill, especially since I really wanted one… but nothing at all.
Despite everything, I decided to ignore it and went back the next day to get another one, making sure to point out that it was me who had forgotten the cookie the day before. And then, huge disappointment: the cookie was awful, rock hard, completely dry, nothing like the usual soft and chewy texture.
Between the complete lack of consideration for an oversight I pointed out immediately, and the clearly subpar quality of the product, the experience was very disappointing.

18/05/2026: Day 234 of my forced diet: survival is becoming critical, I'm going to have to eat my roommate.
This is a warning: don't come if you're hungry, because apart from bulgur or rice with vegetarian stuff, you won't see anything else. Don't even think about coming after 12:30 PM, when all you'll find is the bottom of the sink.
I think meat is illegal, it's so rare to see it here. I emphasize "see" because unless you finish your classes at 11:00 AM, you won't get to taste it.
Anyway, the good news is the diet and the price...

02/05/2026: Honestly, they might as well close this place down if they're going to treat customers like this. No politeness whatsoever, a frosty reception, you clearly feel like you're bothering them. I ordered a simple cheese pizza, and they brought me a ham pizza even though I don't eat pork. That alone is unacceptable.
I remained polite, thinking that mistakes happen… but then I sent a message to report the problem: seen, ignored, no apology. Zero respect for the customer, zero professionalism.
And to top it all off, the pizza was as hard as a rock. Frankly, between the deplorable service and the mediocre quality, this is a place to avoid.

29/05/2026: The quality, taste, welcome, and service are in freefall. When the bread and some pastries taste like they've been burned, it explains a lot. Selling a day-old chocolate brioche for €1.90, dry and hard... that's a big NO. So everything is homemade, as you stated, but clearly, business practices and cleanliness aren't for everyone.
22/05/2026: I bought a sourdough loaf, it was very hard. I was really disappointed.

06/06/2026: €5 for this? They had some nerve. After 120 kilometers of cycling, when your only goal is to recover a modicum of energy, you're served a piece of stale bread as dry as a sidewalk in the middle of August, topped with a single slice of salmon lost in the middle and three bits of onion fighting each other. No butter, no salad, no garnish, not even the decency to pretend.
Each bite unleashes my inspiration to leave you with this scathing review.
Run away!
23/03/2026: Ah, I go to get three croissants and they tell me €1.10 each, which sets the tone. Then they tell me, "Oh no, they're €1.15!" Well, these croissants aren't good, they're lacking butter. I feel like I'm eating day-old croissants, they're dry. I've already eaten one, I'm going to need two liters of water.

06/09/2024: Pour notre première expérience au sein de la Maison Pic, nous avons été reçus dans un cadre empreint de charme, mais surtout par un personnel d’une attention exquise. La salle, élégamment décorée, lui conférait une atmosphère intime et raffinée. Le service fut irréprochable, avec un accord mets et boissons sans alcool particulièrement réussi. Chaque plat, minutieusement élaboré, témoignait d’une technique culinaire remarquable, nous offrant une véritable symphonie gustative. Nos restrictions alimentaires, signalées lors de la réservation, ont été prises en compte avec soin, et les propositions alternatives ont su s’adapter avec finesse. La déclinaison de betterave fut une réussite incontestable, à l’image du reste du repas. Cependant, le second plat modifié nous a quelque peu déçus : malgré une présentation élégante, l’assemblage de feuilles de salade, de menthe et de quelques fleurs n’a pas su pleinement satisfaire nos attentes.
Nous avons achevé ce voyage en dégustant un cigare accompagné d’un cocktail maison, dans leur jardin, véritable écrin de verdure baigné d’une atmosphère sereine et apaisante.

Le Clair de la Plume is an extraordinary place. Today, we enjoyed the incredible 8-course tasting menu... Everything was absolutely top-notch... Immense respect for the entire team at this restaurant...
The cuisine, the pastries, the service, the welcome—everything was magnificent...
And the Chapoutier Hermitage at the edge of town was simply perfect... 😁 See you very, very soon... And a huge thank you for this magical moment... Please don't change a thing. ♥️

27/08/2024: Terrasse extérieure dans les bois avec possibilité de grande table avec canapé. Personnel aux petits soins. Menu raffiné de l'entrée au dessert. Excellents poissons. Servis rapidement et tous ensemble pour chaque plat . Avons eu le café en même temps que le dessert comme demandé. Pour un grand espace de restaurant, il n'y a qu'un wc dont l'accès peut s'avérer compliqué pour une personne à mobilité réduite. Des bâches supplémentaires ne seraient pas de trop pour ombrager l'ensemble des convives. Un excellent moment en famille. Je recommande.
