24/04/2026: Visiting this establishment in Brétigny-sur-Orge for a family occasion this past April. The setting, the welcome, the service... no problem. But... a major negative point, a huge disappointment, a complete rip-off when my wife was served her order, a so-called "grilled octopus"... a visual and gustatory disaster! It's a disgrace to call that octopus, especially at that price! Seriously, if I were you, I wouldn't have served it. It would have been better if you had told us that you didn't have any, Madam/Sir Restaurant Manager. The Portuguese sunshine wasn't on my wife's plate (nor was the octopus), there wasn't a scandal, but it was a real blow! Alfredo

10/04/2026: I was very disappointed with this expensive Portuguese restaurant compared to what we ate! The staff who were serving were very arrogant, I don't know if it was because we arrived at 2 PM, but if so... we called ahead to reserve a table, it was accepted, the website says it's open until 10 PM... for the friendliness and the cost-benefit ratio, no, I will not return. I do not recommend it. Thank you.

15/04/2026: The dining room is very simple, with soft music. The staff is excellent. The pizzas are very good. There's a wide selection of desserts. Don't hesitate to go.

16/04/2026: A wonderful discovery at MARCHÉ GOURMAND! The owner's welcome was truly warm. The place is really unique, a welcome change from the usual chains: it's lovely to finally find a real family restaurant with very reasonable prices. A little bonus for beer lovers: they serve Super Bock! As for the food, the omelet with a generous portion was delicious. The only slight drawback was the mayonnaise in my starter, which wasn't homemade, but it didn't spoil the experience. I had a great time and we had a lovely chat. Thank you! 👍

21/03/2026: We received a very warm welcome, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend the "Reblochon" pizza, which is definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Go there quickly, but make a reservation!

15/12/2024: Very disappointed, I ordered 2 pizzas, one with cheese in the dough. 45min delivery and cold pizza, very hard cheese, soft dough, honeyed goat cheese pizza with almost no honey.... And no spicy oil, €28 for that I'm disgusted!

22/04/2026: The Chalet d'Étiolles is an excellent restaurant: traditional dishes, generous portions, and friendly staff. Very good value for money. The restaurant has private parking.

23/03/2026: I tried this restaurant for a family meal. The food was decent and the overall experience was acceptable. However, the service really needs improvement. Several dishes listed on the menu were unavailable, and some items advertised on the menu weren't actually served. In these cases, it would be best to update the menu. It's a shame, because the food itself was good, but the service definitely needs improvement.

25/02/2026: Finally, some real, traditional South Indian cuisine! We ate incredibly well, just like in India! The dishes are flavorful, and you'll find classics like Kuttu Parotta, Biryani, Chicken 65, rolls… all must-tries! Everything was truly delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. It's true that the service is a little slow, and there's a bit of a wait between courses, but it's so good that it's not a problem. Good food takes time 😋 A home-style restaurant not to be missed. The kebabs are generous, well-filled, with flavorful meat and fresh ingredients. The bread is perfect—it's homemade! And the white sauce is truly excellent and also homemade! The service is fast, even when it's busy, and the place remains clean and well-maintained. The value for money is also very good considering the portion sizes! Whether you're looking for a quick meal or craving a good, well-made kebab, Mani never disappoints. An address I recommend without hesitation!
