21/05/2026: The service wasn't great, and the food was really bad. Too expensive; the €13.90 menu includes a can of soda, and you have to pay an extra €17. The ice cream tasted awful, like alcohol, and the products were frozen. I even found a hair in my candy! I definitely don't recommend it. ⛔️

It's still a good place for a good price. Remember to book.

26/04/2026: Friendly welcome. The chicken and meat tagine was too salty for my taste, very pretty 👍 but too dry, no sauce. They need to improve that, but after that, everything was fine 😉. However, something bothered me: the portion of homemade bread was reheated. The bread was very dry, and it wasn't even fresh. It smelled like bread that was at least two or three days old. Ideally, they should tell customers they're out of bread. But I still recommend people go and eat there; it's quite pleasant. I'm not criticizing, just suggesting improvements. 13/04/2026: Very disappointing. Catering service for a private event. Several problems arose on the day itself: undercooked chicken requiring complete recooking, partially raw potatoes for the children, no children's dessert provided, and an initial error with the accras (cod fritters) despite the reported allergies. These issues disrupted the evening and raised health concerns. Despite a phone call and initial agreement to a refund, the manager reversed her position and only issued a partial refund. A very disappointing experience; I do not recommend this establishment.

11/11/2025: Fantastic weekend with friends at the Lodge du Domaine. Caroline was very welcoming and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. The place is magnificent. The cottage is completely renovated and has superb bedding! Special mention for the jacuzzi – the icing on the cake.

11/11/2025: A guesthouse with very comfortable, recently renovated rooms and excellent quality bedding! The surrounding area is perfect for a short walk after dinner. The owner is very friendly; we warmly thank her for her hospitality.

15/03/2026: September 2022. Nogent-le-Rotrou. Regular customer. I've noticed a decline in service. Long waits. Cooking times not respected. Cleaning is also neglected. Customers aren't babysitters. Either the restaurant needs to deal with screaming and shouting children, or the staff is incompetent in handling this problem.
