23/06/2026: We got married on June 13th and 14th, 2026, and it was simply perfect! The weather was on our side: between the rain in the preceding days and the heatwave that followed, we had the ideal break to fully enjoy this unique weekend. Of course, the exceptional setting of the estate greatly contributes to the magic of the place, but what truly makes the difference is the quality of the organization and services provided. Hélène is meticulous, professional, and always attentive to our wishes. We held our secular ceremony there, and the outdoor gazebo added a particularly romantic touch to this already emotional moment. The meal was fabulous and was a hit with all our guests. We had planned numerous activities during the evening (music we played ourselves, dancing, a slideshow, etc.), and everything ran remarkably smoothly thanks to the impeccable organization of the estate. The next day, it was time to relax: a barbecue, swimming, and leisurely days to extend this wonderful weekend in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. A huge thank you to Hélène and the entire team at Domaine Pardaillan for contributing so much to creating these memories in the hearts of our guests and in our own. We will cherish these two days as absolutely unforgettable.

22/06/2026: We got married in June 2026 at this absolutely exceptional venue. The owner is a very professional and responsive contact person, the venue is superbly laid out, with the option for some guests to stay overnight. The estate has a pool open for Sunday brunch, which was a real plus in our decision. The caterer was appreciated by all the guests, and above all, the staff were incredibly professional and kind. Thank you to Annie, the venue manager, for being with us throughout the evening, and thank you also to the DJ who exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this venue for hosting such an event.

10/05/2026: 20 people for my partner's 50th birthday: everyone was charmed by the place!!! Brilliant concept: _ spacious and welcoming dining area _ fully equipped professional kitchen with pizza oven and plenty of suitable tableware _ separate sleeping area upstairs with top-quality beds, toilet and bathroom in each bedroom _ games area with foosball and pool table _ bar/banquet/dance floor area equipped with sound system and lighting _ a caterer next door providing delicious dishes and pizzas (to be baked in the pizza oven!) at a reasonable price _ small outdoor area where we comfortably had 20 people enjoying drinks outside Excellent value for money, truly a magical place to spend a convivial time, with walks in the nearby forest, wakeboarding on a nearby lake, and a butcher/caterer with a bread counter (very good) just across the street. End-of-stay cleaning included (just leave the kitchen clean and wash the dishes, of course...). An annex cottage located on the same street, absolutely charming with a lovely garden and the same amenities in the rooms, available as an option and at an extra cost if needed (we booked it to accommodate everyone...). In short, I highly recommend this place, and if I have a similar event to organize in the future, I won't look any further!

29/04/2026: This place is truly ideal for a festive weekend, with comfortable beds and a good night's sleep. There's a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and setting up tables, a pizza oven, a games room, a bar with a large wine cellar, and a dance floor with a great sound system – there's something for everyone. There were 23 of us there on Saturday night, including 6 people staying elsewhere, and they all had a fantastic time. Those who had arrived on Friday evening also had a great weekend! Just a heads-up, there's an American-style refrigerator, so let your guests know it has a freezer compartment :-) Plus, the owner is available to answer any questions you might have and is very responsive!

17/05/2026: We discovered this friendly little restaurant on the recommendation of my sister, who lives in Chartres. The first time, we took her advice and had lunch there because the prices were reasonable. We were very happy with our meal. Back in Chartres, we ate there twice more this week. The value for money is really good. Each time, we opted for the express menu at €15.90 (main course + dessert). The dishes are well-presented, visually appealing, and have little touches of flair (popcorn, seasonings, etc.). The desserts are delicious and much better than some chain or fast-food restaurants. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, the staff is attentive, and doesn't pressure you to order more. If you want, you can always find negative points, but nothing is perfect in a restaurant (unless you go to a gourmet restaurant?). Thank you and best of luck!

19/06/2026: A very warm welcome with a smile. A wide selection of Chartres wines and the chef's suggestions were very interesting. Fresh produce from local producers. The amber beer from the Eurelienne brewery was excellent, and the lychee and grapefruit lemonade from the area was also delicious. From aperitif to dessert, everything was perfect. The meat was cooked to perfection. The fish (swordfish) was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant.
