30/07/2026: Disappointing stay for a "four-star" resort We rented an apartment at Resort Thalasso Concarneau, advertised as a four-star hotel. The location is genuinely excellent and the pool is great — but the apartment itself was a real letdown. To start, the room we'd booked months in advance was suddenly unavailable on arrival. Not a great first impression. The staff were friendly and did offer us a free breakfast, which was a nice gesture. Once in the (replacement) apartment, the issues piled up: Toilet doesn't flush properly Shower hose too short Room key cards kept stopping working, requiring repeated trips back to the front desk Moldy sink drain in the kitchen No lids on any of the pots, and one pot was fully scratched and worn out Fridge bottle shelf hanging half loose, as was the fridge door itself Wallpaper peeling in the room Bedroom door sticks Hallway carpet covered in stains No air conditioning On top of that, the laundry machine instructions were unclear, and both I and another guest trying to do laundry lost money on a wasted cycle because of it. Reception said they're not liable since the machines are run by an external company, but no phone number is provided for that company either, only email. For a hotel marketing itself as four-star, this is a lot of maintenance and cleanliness issues piling up. Great location, friendly staff, nice pool — but the apartment itself felt shabby and poorly maintained. Can't really call this a four-star experience.

19/09/2024: Very bad experience with a lunch service, table of 2, a burger and a pancake. The dishes were served to us more than 20 minutes apart. We watched each other eat, each in turn... The table next to us, 4 place settings, same scenario... I didn't even want to stay there for dessert. Either it's a failure in taking orders, transmitting them to the kitchen or the kitchen which doesn't know how to take the dishes off a table and serve them together... Regardless, the customer experience is ruined, and not one a word of apology when leaving, nor a commercial gesture. Not even asked if "it went well", a way of avoiding coping...

24/09/2024: Wir waren zum Abendessen im Rahmen unseres Urlaubs in Douarnenez dort. Reservierung war unkompliziert. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Mein Schwertfisch war wirklich hervorragend und gut bezahlbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, auch wenn wir mittlerweile leider wieder 1.200 km weit entfernt sind.

20/09/2024: This restaurant is hidden slightly back from the Main Street, but it is definitely worth visiting. We did need to book as with most restaurants in this area. The welcome was very friendly & the owner speaks good English & explains the menu. We ate the fish burger on our first visit which was Amazing!!! The rillettes de poisson is a good starter to share, we also had the Cod & yellow pollock, all were well cooked and beautifully presented. Don’t miss this gem.

29/12/2025: A flawless stay. The room with its sea view and amenities met all expectations. The establishment was spotless and boasted tasteful and welcoming decor. Highlights: Exceptionally attentive staff. Exquisite cuisine and impeccable service. Smiles and kindness on every face. A truly wonderful memory. I will return with great pleasure.

29/10/2025: Magical location, very friendly and attentive staff. The standard room was rather small, but the large bed and bathroom with hairdryer were perfect. The carport with an electrical outlet for bikes was very convenient! The only minor drawbacks: an unpleasant smell in the room and a very expensive breakfast (€19) considering that by 9:10 am there was no more bacon or certain pastries, and a limited selection of cereals and bread. We still loved our stay though 😜

03/09/2024: Pour changer des crèperies, burgers... Notre choix s est porté sur le Saïgon au regard des commentaires. Nous avons l habitude de fréquenter différents restaurants asiatiques après avoir été au Vietnam et en Thaïlande. Très déçus de l entrée, surgelés, très gras, aucune saveur. Les plats sur plaque chauffantes appelés "frétillants" moyen, sans saveur, idem pour le riz cantonnais plutôt bouilli. Conclusion, nous ne recommandons pas.

30/08/2024: Discreto ristorante vietnamita, con una cucina che somiglia a quella cinese ma un po' meno saporita e in generale dai sapori non eccezionali. Una buona soluzione per cenare tardi a Morlaix perché è uno dei pochi che chiude alle 22 a buon prezzo.

04/09/2024: Un restaurant comme on les aime : bon accueil, belle salle au 1er avec vue mer, plats de qualité avec des produits locaux (aile de raie délicieuse) et un service discret mais efficace.

30/08/2024: Nous avons déjeuné en terrasse aux Alizés et n’avons pas été déçus. Accueil très sympathique même avec des enfants et un chien. Le service est soigné et attentif. Tous les plats sont très bons: produits frais très bien cuisinés. Une mention particulière pour le menu du jour d’un rapport qualité prix imbattable.

13/07/2024: Excellent , une explosion de saveurs des herbes des épices, très copieux cadre et personnel sympa, nous reviendrons avec plaisir 😉

Dommage que le service soit perturbant Le serveur attend que vous finissiez votre plat près de votre table et écoute vos conversations Si les clients du fond partent il éteint les lumières et vous avez presque peur de déranger Service à revoir

09/09/2024: Central location on the harbour front with views of the walled town. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We sat outside but indoor seating available which was clean and comfortable with a cosy atmosphere. We ate a burger du chef and a Caesar salad. Chicken was breaded with multi seeded coating, good sized portions. Burger was just cooked, requested medium so ask for well done if you don’t enjoy pink meat. Very reasonably priced, would definitely return.

30/08/2024: Très déçu du début à la fin. Accueil sans sourire, pas de carte pour boire un verre en apéritif, juste une banal carte sur un tableau. Service à table pas mieux, assiette posé sans délicatesse et pas le bon appétit qui va avec.... galette froide je cherche encore les oignons qui accompagne la saucisse , juste mon fils qui a apprécié son burger.... autant dire pas envie d y prendre le dessert mais de tte façon pas proposé quand on a desservi nos assiettes. Je passe en caisse pas plus aimable de ce côté là.... je ne recommande pas du tt

07/09/2024: Les crêpes sont délicieuses- particulièrement celles au sarrasin. Le cadre est charmant. Quant à l'accueil, nous sommes en Bretagne et non dans une trattoria du sud : la culture sociale y est plus sobre et moins démonstrative. Nous avons pourtant eu une conversation très utile quant à la confection des crêpes avec une serveuse très sympathique. Il semblerait que les Bretons n'aiment pas le baratin et c'est tant mieux.

02/09/2024: Une crêperie typiquement bretonne qui vaut le détour ! Face à la mer à Morgat, ce petit coin de paradis propose des galettes salées savoureuses et des crêpes sucrées délicieuses, toutes préparées avec des ingrédients de qualité. Le cadre est authentique et chaleureux, parfait pour savourer un bon repas en admirant la vue. Mention spéciale pour le cidre à la pression, rafraîchissant et parfait pour accompagner les plats.

14/05/2025: At first glance, the menu appeared unexciting, but the actual dishes were scrumptious. The risotto with my delicious fish was out of this world.

07/05/2025: Very cosy local bistro with local food showing food miles (very few). Lots of local customers and obviously frequent diners. The burger was going down a storm with most but I didn't have it to my regret as my son loved it, it seemed freshly minced and made in the kitchen. It's worth supporting good places and this is one of those
