27/08/2024: Quiet and welcoming place, quality homemade bread. Delicious pizzas, fougasse and pâtés. The burgers are quite ordinary.

26/08/2024: Good little restaurant which is worth the detour (local products), delicious natural wine and dishes for vegetarians! without forgetting to buy excellent bread straight from the oven.

25/08/2024: We went to Mont Mezenc on 08/25/2024, however Surprise a big political head had decided to return that same day, result blocked by the Gendarmerie arriving at the top!! No indication below to warn people, tourists..... Contempt and lack of respect, it's true the gasoline is free and we're on vacation all year long to do this type 100klms return trip for nothing... Thank you, thank you, thank you very much!!

23/08/2024: Sunrise from Mont Mézenc On the advice of our hosts, we wanted to see this superb painting. Leaving Puy en Velay around 5:15 a.m., allow a 45-minute drive to arrive at the parking lot which is located at the start of the path for this short hike. The walk lasts about 45 minutes, well dressed, equipped with a headlamp, good shoes and a thermos of hot chocolate for the reward, we therefore advanced towards the summit of Mt. Once at the top, let the natural magic happen. The view is 360°, the moon in a dark sky on one side, the color of a rising sun on the other. This little walk is definitely worth it! After this experience, you can have lunch at Les Estables. We opted for various treats bought in the small bakery in the center, and a hot drink at the bar/restaurant near the tourist office. After a short rest period, we completed this visit with a visit to the summer sleds, which are a 10-minute walk away. (Opening at 10:30 a.m.) A busy morning that benefited the whole family! The smiles were there. Good discovery!

30/08/2024: Very nice little campsite with lots of shade. We stayed there for 1 week and were warmly welcomed by the managers. The sanitary facilities are well maintained. The tent sites are well demarcated and of all sizes, you can choose the one that suits you best and on some of them there are picnic tables. Possibility of playing mini-golf and eating lunch and dinner at the campsite snack bar (the fries and homemade pizzas are delicious). The campsite is 15 minutes from Lamastre where you can do your shopping. There is direct access to the river (the Doux) in which you can bathe and swim if you find the deeper corners. The rail bike and the Ardèche train are a few dozen meters from the campsite. Be careful not to sleep late because the train shows up from 9:30 a.m. until 8-9 p.m. The road is close but not very busy. The nights are calm and relaxing, we hear all kinds of animals. We recommend this campsite for a stay in Ardèche.

03/09/2024: A treat! In a very nice setting, we ate at Léon in 2020 and then recently in 2024. The dishes are succulent, well presented and garnished! The prices are very reasonable and we had a great time. Very pleasant waiter apart from one waitress who forgot us a little, the presence of the other waiter allowed us to feel pampered. I recommend and would come back! Small note however on the hygiene of the toilets... a more frequent passage should be made.

17/08/2024: Très bon accueil de la part du chef malgré une arrivée tardive à l' hôtel (23h 30) La salle du restaurant refaite à neuf est magnifique et a gardé son authenticité. Le petit déjeuner est riche et varié. Merci

22/08/2024: We eat very good pizzas there. The place is quiet, on the edge of a river. Saint Cirgues in the mountains is a beautiful, lively village.

22/09/2024: Very friendly staff. Very good, quality cuisine with very attractive prices. It is also a roaster that makes the coffee in front of you with their own coffee and tea.

13/07/2024: Very pretty setting. Just passing through for a drink during our hike, the lady who served us first offered a bowl of water for our dog then took our order. When we left, he offered to fill our water bottles. To recommend !

12/09/2024: We came on a Thursday evening out of season, the atmosphere was still there. We were amazed by the quality of the cuisine, the originality of the reworked traditional dishes and the excellence of the various flavors. The service is also worth highlighting, accuracy in a very pleasant energy. We will come back with great pleasure and sincerely thank the entire team for this fabulous time.

25/09/2024: L’accueil et le service valent bien un 5* dans la simplicité de cette charmante auberge, pleine de charme. Malheureusement la cuisine ne suit pas vraiment, c’est dommage car il suffirait de pas grand chose pour que ce soit un moment magique. Nous avons néanmoins passé un moment agréable où on semblait loin du monde. Pas de CB mais on peut faire un virement instantané avec l’Iban de cette auberge, c’est pratique

11/09/2024: Joli endroit au calme avec terrasse ombragée. L’accueil par la patronne est très chaleureux. Elle vous donne l’eau à la bouche. Cependant, si la viande est bonne, les légumes et les frites sont fades et froides. Le prix est cher par rapport à l’assiette. Quand au vin au verre, il est très médiocre.

04/09/2024: Arrêt pause gourmande au top du service à l'assiette, dans un cadre typique et très agréable. La cuisine est simple, fraîche et variée. C'est tout ce qu'il nous fallait !

05/09/2024: Nous avons mangé là lors de notre visite du village. Nous y avons mangé des planches de charcuteries de la région qui était bien servies et très bonne. Le service était bien suivi et les prix tout à fait correct.
