27/07/2026: I didn't even eat there; the way we were greeted was enough to tell me I'll never set foot in that place again. I've rarely been treated with such rudeness over a simple question about the evening menu. They really need to hire staff who can maintain their composure and good manners, even during the lunchtime rush. Unacceptable. It's unpleasant and humiliating. Sir at reception, do you speak like that to everyone, or only to people with backpacks and hiking boots? Do you have to be chic or wear stilettos to be respected here? Next time, perhaps try to hide your annoyance better. As a result, we didn't even bother booking a table. It wasn't even worth it. I feel sorry for the other employees who were perhaps nicer… They say the restaurants in Les Goudes aren't what they used to be: it's true.

23/07/2026: The octopus salad was exquisite, and the tuna, with its roasted aromas yet still a vibrant pink, was wonderful. It was also fantastic that the side dishes, like the vegetables and sauces, were so flavorful and full of quality ingredients. A true delight. The service was very friendly and helpful, offering excellent advice. A place with a distinction: hard to find, hard to forget.

25/07/2026: I miss L'Entrecote when it was run by the previous owner. I've noticed that the Entrecote in the Prado district of the 8th arrondissement has changed a lot. For years, I've eaten occasionally at Entrecote restaurants with my family, and this is the first time we've been served such tough meat... when the reputation of these Entrecote restaurants is based on tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat, especially when cooked rare. We were told, "You're out of luck," that you got a tough piece of beef. Let's remember, we don't come to this restaurant to play the lottery! ... Furthermore, a waiter was having a particularly loud conversation with a friend, laughing so loudly it was deafening. I'm afraid the clientele from the old Entrecote in the Old Port will be flocking to the Entrecote in the 8th arrondissement...

12/07/2026: While in Marseille, I had the opportunity to visit Les Minots de République on numerous occasions and sample their pastries, sandwiches, and cakes. The quality-price ratio is excellent. Special mention goes to their croissants and pain au chocolat! If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

28/06/2026: I've been to this restaurant three times, my husband twice on his own. It wasn't bad, but the owner is awful. My husband asked her if there were mosquitoes, and she said, "If you don't want to stay outside, make up your mind, I'm not going to clean two tables." She was unpleasant, impatient, and behaved like she wasn't a customer. And when we went to get pizzas, they didn't give us the pizza we ordered. In front of all the other customers, she told my husband, "I don't want to see you here again." Avoid this place at all costs. Money is hard to earn, and I'm not going to line the pockets of this kind of person. Avoid, avoid, avoid! And the waiter wasn't much nicer either.

17/07/2026: A delightful surprise: delicious food! During our monthly restaurant discovery tour, we unearthed L'Âme Sœur, a restaurant offering sophisticated cuisine with beautiful flavor combinations, all served in generous portions. We wholeheartedly recommend it: go for it!

06/07/2026: We had been coming to this restaurant for years, several times each summer, and we always recommended it to everyone we knew. It's precisely because we were such loyal customers that what followed was all the more disappointing. The meal went very well until dessert. We ordered two chocolate fondant cakes: one was perfectly gooey, the other completely overcooked, dry, and dense. We simply and politely pointed this out to the waiter, without being aggressive, thinking it was an isolated incident. After a quick trip to the kitchen, he returned with this response: “Your daughter was lucky.” In other words, the botched dessert in front of me was considered normal. No self-reflection, no apology, no spontaneous offer of a replacement. It wasn't the cake itself that was the problem. Nor was it the €9 dessert, especially when you're paying a bill of €132 for three people. What's unacceptable is the blatant disregard shown to a customer who simply reports a clearly defective product. When I expressed my disappointment, the owner finally offered a refund… but only after the situation had escalated. A gesture of goodwill is only valuable when it's sincere and spontaneous, not when it's offered reluctantly. The final straw was the owner's intervention. She came out of the restaurant to tell me, "You're the ones who are pathetic, making a fuss over a chocolate cake when people are starving." A completely irrelevant, inappropriate, and deeply disrespectful argument. We were simply in a restaurant, as a family, paying for a service. As with any service, it's normal to expect a product that meets our standards and a minimum of consideration when a problem is reported. What's making us leave today isn't a chocolate cake. It's the arrogance, the complete lack of self-reflection, and the customer service that, in our opinion, are unworthy of an establishment claiming to be a restaurant. Losing loyal customers over a €9 dessert is already regrettable. Losing them through a lack of professionalism and humility is even more so. We won't be back. And that's a real shame, because we genuinely liked this place.
