19/12/2025: I visited this place with my parents during a cruise. I visited after reading Google reviews, but the service was truly atrocious. While other tables had neatly laid out cutlery, ours was given a whole bunch and gestured for us to sort through it ourselves. Furthermore, our bill was over 180 euros, and our credit card payment wasn't accepted. If you're willing to endure terrible service over a poor meal, I highly recommend this place. Just in case you don't believe me, I've attached the receipt.

10/07/2025: Dirty terraces. Children's meals arrived without ketchup and mayonnaise. Bread not of the day. Skewers requested rare arrived on time. No soap in the dispensers. I told the manager that the bread was not fresh, he replied, and didn't write it on the bread menu. Basically, avoid!

09/07/2025: When we arrived, a waitress greeted us by telling us that there was a shortage of staff and that there was a wait. In fact, she turned away customers as they arrived. Indeed, there was far too much waiting and many errors in orders. The food is not as good and there is much less choice. It's a real shame.

23/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. High-quality cuisine, beautifully presented, showcasing top-notch local produce (lamb, soft-boiled egg, scallop risotto, green asparagus). A solid wine list, featuring wines from Provence and reliable selections from the Northern Rhône. A very pleasant terrace. A great spot at the foot of the Château de l'Emperi, in the heart of the historic center.

14/03/2026: The bouillabaisse, served in three courses, was very good and well presented. However, the wine and dessert were a bit pricey. €343 for four people in a rather simple setting. The atmosphere in the dining room was a little too quiet; we whispered for fear of disturbing the other two tables.

03/04/2026: We had a great lunch here during our visit in Cassis. Everything was fresh and even though the server did not speak full english, Yohann was super friendly and we were able to communicate perfectly. He even went out of his way to get us hats since the sun was blasting our head/eyes. Our food and drinks came quickly and everything we tried was delicious. 10/10 recommendation.

08/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! Despite it being the off-season, the welcome was exceptionally warm. We were served promptly in a friendly atmosphere with local accents and colors, which immediately immersed us in the region's ambiance. The bull stew was excellent, full of flavor and very authentic. A real treat. A small detail that made all the difference: with our coffee, the waiter brought us a small slice of raisin flan. A thoughtful and much-appreciated touch that demonstrates the restaurant's hospitality.

22/10/2025: We spent 14 days in Saintes Maries and ate 13 times at this wonderful, simple restaurant. We had fish or seafood every evening, which was amazing. The value for money is absolutely spot on. The service is friendly, fast, and courteous. One thing is for sure: we'll be back. Many thanks to the chef and his fantastic team.

23/02/2026: Absolutely exceptional. Swimming in February, savoring delicious food and breakfast, a little paradise just a 10-minute walk from the center of Aix. Magnificent! And dog friendly.

19/02/2026: An enchanting setting, just a few minutes' walk from Aix city center. Everything is perfect for a truly relaxing getaway. The service is impeccable, the welcome outstanding, and Chef Gavot's work at La Taula Gallici is sensational. I recommend it 100%.
