10/06/2026: Great experience at SportBeach! This was a great find since the beaches were not comfortable due to the winds the day we came here and this location provided some solid shelter from the winds while being outdoors. Overall, glad we stumbled to this beach-side lounge area and we enjoyed the food, vibes, pool, and service (shoutout to Martin)!

14/04/2026: A 1 hour 20 minute wait, even though we arrived first at 7:30 pm (opening time). There were a few people at the bar. Our order was taken quickly, the waiter was welcoming, and the cocktails (€7-€9) arrived with six pretzels. The place filled up, with tables of 2 to 4 people. Some customers were served, while others waited 1 hour 20 minutes or more. The food was good and very generous. Prices ranged from around €16 for a pizza to between €22 and €29 for a main course. The wait was far too long, so we didn't order dessert. The small parking lot was already full when we opened, so we parked further down the road.

11/11/2025: It was 3:30 pm, we hadn't eaten yet, and we were despairing of finding an open restaurant. The owner of Îlot Pizza greeted us with a big smile, and we were able to eat together by the water. The price-quality ratio was very good (55 euros for two people, including two drinks and two main courses) compared to other restaurants on the island that inflate their prices and where the service leaves much to be desired. I recommend this place if you're visiting Frioul Island.

08/10/2025: My partner and I had a wonderful time here. The welcome, the smiling and very friendly waitress, with a touch of humor, is all part of the art of service (and yes, when the aperitif glasses are cleared away when they're empty, for example) 👍. The food... Mmm 🤤, the linguine is very good, the duck breast is super good! Hey! Another knife, please 😉. The menu, a small menu means quality dishes. As for breakfast the next day, we were just as spoiled. Crepes, spreadable bread, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice! Delicious. A big thank you to the whole team; it helped my guest and I have a great weekend 👍😜💕💪

03/06/2026: We were here for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious; we ordered the daily specials twice: monkfish risotto and filet with Asian-style rice. We wanted to have a table here again today. Unfortunately, the waiter with the green glasses was extremely unfriendly, unlike yesterday. Even though several tables in the front row were free, we weren't allowed to sit down; only guests who were actually eating were permitted. Now, 10 minutes later, there are 8 tables free and no one is sitting there. Many thanks to yesterday's waiter, who was absolutely professional. He explained the daily specials to every guest and was always friendly. And a very poor review of today's waiter with the green glasses—absolutely unfriendly. He should find something else! We're now sitting at another restaurant. The one star is solely for the waiter with the blue-green glasses.

10/05/2026: I've been a regular at this café since 2011, when Richard was in charge, and I always praised the atmosphere and the variety of drinks on offer. The service was also impeccable. Unfortunately, I've had to complain about a change in attitude from the staff, particularly the afternoon shift and one person who works at the counter. On two occasions, we were left without being served because tables with more customers were being served, with more expensive drinks being ordered. The second time, since our coffees weren't being served, we left after 20 minutes. What's the problem? The small size of our order? This Sunday, I was accosted by this person at the counter, who demanded that I order properly and not leave like last time. This happened in front of her staff and other customers. I reminded her that we left because we were being ignored. I find this attitude from the person at the counter unacceptable and deplorable. I am therefore leaving this comment for your information.

09/05/2026: Unlike in the past, you have to wait 30 minutes to be served. The waiters are unpleasant. They don't clear the glasses, and they're disrespectful.

17/12/2025: The menu is appealing, the place pleasant, but... The owner is far too familiar: with the cassoulet, there'll be trouble! She greets regular customers with a: "Well, it's been a while since you've been here!" The famous cassoulet, it must have been quite old, was acidic. I thought it was because of the tomatoes... but the way it practically refused to leave my stomach at the first turn suggests it had gone off! A truly bad experience!

31/12/2025: Great experience, we had lunch on the riverboat. We were traveling with two children, and it was winter. Very welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff. Excellent food, with a children's menu available for €12.

28/12/2025: We went there to eat on the water. It was a wonderful discovery. I chose the fish soup, the shredded duck, and the chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. The view is magnificent, and the owner is very friendly. I recommend it without hesitation!

14/05/2026: I didn't eat anything, but the menu is okay for a pub. It's mostly finger food and not classic Irish dishes. Otherwise, it's just your average Irish pub.

03/05/2026: Best scotch and whisky selection we found in our entire stay in France. Service is direct and efficient, no time wasted - as you'd expect from a bar. They warmed up to me when I showed knowledge about their scotch selection and did a bit of a tasting tour of their offerings. We arrived about 5:30pm, it was pretty quiet with a lot of tables available. By the time we left at 7pm, the place was completely full. Show up early, or be patient waiting on a table.

14/05/2026: The ice cream is very good, having been there several times. After 6:10 PM, they stopped serving ice cream.
