21/11/2025: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and every dish was truly delicious. The flavors were well-balanced and the portions perfect. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and carefully prepared.
I highly recommend this place—I'll gladly return!

We came back because there was hope for great night.
Pizza was so heavy and overpriced thar probably no return to this place.
Dessert - way too much suger. So, please, to the future visitors : do not be blinded by decor. Please. Choose wisely

I very much understand now that Christmas decorations must never blind people, especially those who do not speak french. Please. Before you order your meal, make sure what it will be.
To the owner of La Rotonde : believe me, there is better food and service in Aix-en-Provence.

09/12/2025: Nut allergy friendly: Their online menu label all allergens, which I found quite nice.
We arrived around 7PM on a Tuesday and got seated as a table of 6 on the heated patio (space heaters above) with no issues.
Time to Pizza: ~35 Minutes
Time to Desserts: 1 hour, 35 Minutes
They have an English menu online that you can reach by scanning a QR code. This menu also includes the desserts.
I ordered a Cezanne pizza, a 50cl of the local amber (Pietre, which note does contain chestnuts), and a creme brulee and my total ended up around 47 Euro ($54ish). The pizza is enough to be filling for one hungry person or easily split for two people. Honestly though, I didn't think it was anything special. They went very light on actual ingredients so it looks cute but doesn't have too much substance outside of the wood fired flavor.
It took quite a while for the staff to come back around with dessert offerings. I got the creme brulee, which was okay - made well but could have been better flame crisped.
Overall, a great spot for the vibes but I wouldn't come back for the food. The prices are incredibly high for what you get.

08/09/2024: Bonjour à toutes les personnes qui aiment se rendre au restaurant avec des réductions intéressantes. Peut-être que cet avis suscitera votre intérêt. Ce restaurant m'a vraiment déçu. Ce n'était ni la nourriture ni le serveur qui étaient très agréables, mais la trahison du patron, un menteur fini et qui ne respectait pas les règles du jeu de Thefork. Je m'explique vite fait, j'avais une réduction de 25,00€, il a refusé de l'appliquer. Sachant que j'étais dans mon droit, il m'a simplement accordé 20 % et n'a pas voulu que je paie avec l'application. Pourquoi a-t-il eu cette attitude ? Vous devriez vous en douter, pourquoi. Étant donné que je déteste les histoires, j'ai laissé tomber. Je vous donne un petit conseil à vous, les consommateurs consommatrices, à le suivre ou pas, téléphonez d'abord avant et bien vous assurer que le restaurateur assume les règles du jeu. Vous êtes prévenu.

08/09/2024: Hello to all people who like to go to restaurants with attractive discounts. Maybe this review will pique your interest. This restaurant really disappointed me. It was neither the food nor the waiter that was very pleasant, but the betrayal of the boss, a complete liar who did not respect the rules of Thefork's game. Let me quickly explain, I had a reduction of €25.00, he refused to apply it. Knowing I was within my rights, he simply gave me 20% and didn't want me to pay with the app. Why did he have this attitude? You should suspect why. Since I hate stories, I gave it up. I give you a little advice to you, the consumers, to follow it or not, call first beforehand and make sure that the restaurateur accepts the rules of the game. You have been warned.

25/09/2024: Superb restaurant, as soon as you arrive, you are immersed in Provence. Vines and aromatic plants are present to affirm the desire for homemade cuisine and artisanal know-how. Inside, you are welcomed warmly and naturally. The menu is very pleasant with a good choice of quality products and very honest traceability. Suggestions for the day will be offered to you and I myself had difficulty choosing, because everything made me want it. The staff in the dining room also offers the cutting of large pieces of meat at the table, bringing up to date know-how that has been neglected in catering. Our waitress was very professional, she gave us good recommendations. The exteriors of the restaurant are as sublime as their interior decoration, furnished during summer and winter, and lively with live musical evenings and gastronomic events. Ample parking is available, so no worries if you are coming from far away. I highly recommend this address which is, for me, quite attractive. And I can’t wait to come back in summer to discover their new gastronomic suggestion.

We didn't want to offer a side dish without the main course. When I said I just wanted something to drink, I was told that wasn't possible. Two customers - two main courses. So we left the restaurant.

Hearty and refreshing, we are not disappointed. The employees are very friendly, smiling and attentive to our needs.
In a setting between art-deco and authentic brasserie, we finish our meal with a calva coffee before continuing on our way.
Can’t wait to come back (a little earlier this time) to try other dishes!
