27/03/2026: Very clean hotel, lovely large room, very varied breakfast. Professional and friendly staff, good value for money. I recommend it.

10/11/2025: Excellent welcome at 9 pm by a kind gentleman. The room was very nicely decorated, however, the cleanliness left much to be desired. There was a thick layer of dust on the pictures above the bed (it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for at least 2-3 months, judging by how thick it was). The shower drains were extremely dirty, full of hair and other debris. There was dust on the furniture, which must have been cleaned a week ago. And the shower grout—don't even get me started—it was so yellow and thick. Breakfast was perfect, it's a real shame that the room hygiene wasn't up to the standard of service offered. Disappointed. 😔

23/02/2026: A sunny Sunday to enjoy the sea urchin festival: don't be in a hurry to get the menu, to be served, or even to pay! Appalling welcome and aggressive waiters. Avoid at all costs.

11/11/2025: It was 3:30 pm, we hadn't eaten yet, and we were despairing of finding an open restaurant. The owner of Îlot Pizza greeted us with a big smile, and we were able to eat together by the water. The price-quality ratio was very good (55 euros for two people, including two drinks and two main courses) compared to other restaurants on the island that inflate their prices and where the service leaves much to be desired. I recommend this place if you're visiting Frioul Island.

08/10/2025: My partner and I had a wonderful time here. The welcome, the smiling and very friendly waitress, with a touch of humor, is all part of the art of service (and yes, when the aperitif glasses are cleared away when they're empty, for example) 👍. The food... Mmm 🤤, the linguine is very good, the duck breast is super good! Hey! Another knife, please 😉. The menu, a small menu means quality dishes. As for breakfast the next day, we were just as spoiled. Crepes, spreadable bread, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice! Delicious. A big thank you to the whole team; it helped my guest and I have a great weekend 👍😜💕💪

The experience is made possible by the combined talents of chef Fanny Rey (formerly of Baumanière) and pastry chef Jonathan Wahid (formerly of the Ritz); the cuisine is creative and refined, showcasing local Alpilles produce. The dining room is charming and intimate, and the service is warm and welcoming. In short, an excellent gastronomic experience in Provence!
