16/11/2025: We had a drink on the terrace at this bar. The terrace is very pleasant, with a magnificent view of Marseille, and it's very quiet.
The service was a little slow, however, despite it being very quiet when we went.
The non-alcoholic cocktails we ordered were excellent!
15/11/2025: We shared lunch at Captain Bar.
The view is incredible, but that doesn't justify such prices.
€25 for a club sandwich and €9 for a Coke.
The dessert platter is generous, but they all taste the same :-)
The service is mediocre.
And the coffee doesn't even come with a little snack… what a shame.
A mixed experience.

22/09/2024: The food was good and tasty but a very terrible service. We waited for 1.5 hours for the starter to arrive. The waiter forgot what we ordered because he did not write anything down. We were a group of 4 people and the main course was not served for the whole group together. When the last 2 plates arrived, the first two had already finished eating. All people in the restaurant were complaining for the long wait.

I've never seen clay courts in this state; it's shameful!
The mother and son are as friendly as prison doors...
Stay away.
25/06/2025: A poor experience.
The clay courts are in poor condition. Children run around, shout, and interrupt matches to ask when the court will be free.
We've been playing on clay for years, and I don't understand why a tennis club that claims to be of a certain standing would neglect its courts and the welcoming and practice environment to such an extent.

20/08/2025: We found this place very well located, right in the tourist area, but the experience was downhill... the menu is only in French, and the blonde waitress was very rude when we tried to communicate in: English, Spanish, and Italian. It was a problem just getting drinks, so we understood it would be even more difficult when ordering food. Not recommended at all!!!👎

The food is awful!
Even the mussels and fries! Tiny mussels, more than half of them closed, and the sauce was disgusting!
The toilets didn't flush and were full of urine…
Over €90 for this?! We beg you tourists, go somewhere else; our city is beautiful and welcoming!
03/12/2025: Dishonest restaurant owner. Poorly explained menu. Dry fish with a strong taste that didn't seem fresh. I've never paid €22 for a plate of mussels marinière when most of the shells were empty! A rip-off. You're paying for the view. Furthermore, the restaurant only takes cash. €70 without drinks for 2 adults and 1 child. Avoid at all costs. A shame because the location is great.

16/01/2026: Responsive service, appealing daily menu, good quality steak (flank steak), well-portioned (neither too much nor too little). Nothing extraordinary, but it's good and the price is reasonable. Downstairs in the vaulted cellar, it has a surprisingly intimate, cellar-like feel. One major drawback: no Wi-Fi. A shame.

17/11/2024: Be careful, I just ordered a sugar waffle, I found a cockroach in the waffle, it's still unacceptable, knowing that I have a colleague who found a dead ant in his crepe , a month ago, I think there is a hygiene problem in this restaurant, be careful, it's not normal. I hope there will be a check soon.

19/11/2024: If you are a tourist in the derogatory sense this is a good address for the location. Bull stew you will have to settle for samples of meat and two large potatoes...the bouillabaisse is good. Times are tough, especially the price. (Pleasant but long service) and bright sunshine.

We had a beer and a very ordinary beer cooler and only 25cl per glass.
The bill €9 😳😳😳but they are serious
1€ more expensive than the much prettier bodega further away..
I would never set foot in this establishment again. A given point must stop taking people for cash cows, not to say as idiots… eh!
France is becoming miserably expensive compared to other countries, you are a little tired of being "robbed"
