04/03/2026: Everything is fine, there's a large parking lot, a toilet in the bar and a shower. You have to pay extra for the shower. Parking costs €22 and includes a main course, a choice of three. A lady comes and asks which dish you're ordering. You also get a basket of bread, water or wine (white or red), and a buffet with cold cuts and salads. Nothing is missing. The owner is behind the bar. His wife and daughter serve meals and take orders in the dining room. They are very nice, polite, and helpful. I was here for the first time. I'll definitely come back. 17/03/2026: The waiters were welcoming, but I was disappointed with the food considering the prices. There were two of us, and we ordered one of the daily specials: leg of lamb with mushroom jus and homemade mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were cold, but the meat was hot (which can happen, nothing dramatic so far). I asked for the mashed potatoes to be reheated, and the entire plate came back boiling hot after being microwaved (along with the lamb) for who knows how many minutes. As a result, the meat became overcooked and incredibly dry—understandably! The second course was tagliatelle with truffle and Parmesan. The pasta was stuck together with a grainy sauce. The portions were enormous—what a waste! Enough for two or three meals, depending on appetite (and I'm a big eater!). I asked for a doggy bag on principle, but I threw it away the next day because it wasn't good. The bill came to €62 for the 2 courses + 1 bottle of San Pe!

02/04/2026: We have wonderful memories of holiday and family meals! It's a shame the restaurant is closed year-round and hasn't retained the charm we love so much. It would be fantastic to be able to enjoy sunny days on the terraces like we used to. Thank you for those moments.

05/01/2026: We were looking for a nice place to have dinner on December 31, 2025, and after consulting several Google reviews, we booked a table at Château de Richebois, as we were passing through Salon-de-Provence. Our first surprise: when we took the Uber, the driver informed us that it was a nightclub. At the time, we didn't quite understand… Then, upon arrival, the receptionist asked us, "Are you alright? Aren't you too disappointed?" — which left us perplexed. We were aware that, for a New Year's Eve dinner with festive fare, the price would be high: €110 per person with a glass of champagne. However, even though the dishes were decent, this absolutely did not justify the price. The cuisine was very traditional, uninspired, and completely unworthy of a menu at this price point. The appetizers were the most disappointing part: sausage rolls and a slice of white bread with a piece of salmon… truly underwhelming. The decor wasn't up to par either: the room itself is beautiful, but the "Happy New Year" balloons stuck to the mirrors look very cheap, not to mention the glitter on the tables that sticks to your arms during the meal. Frankly, it was just okay. As for the atmosphere, it was generally pleasant, but far too noisy: there were numerous bands playing, and at times we couldn't even hear ourselves speak. A special mention, however, goes to the guitarist-singer, who sang wonderfully and added a real touch of class to the evening. I must emphasize that the staff was very pleasant, even if their attire lacked professionalism (sequined bow ties, a somewhat low-end outfit, which clashed with the setting). Furthermore, the staff confirmed that the restaurant is no longer open year-round and only for special events. It's a real shame. With a setting like that of a grand castle, we thought we were going to have a wonderful evening… but we left very disappointed.

29/11/2025: Aside from the beach view, this restaurant is terrible. We arrived as a couple to order a pizza and a plate of mussels, and they were completely out. They should find another line of work. Avoid it.

08/01/2025: I stopped to eat waffles there, no welcome no card to give we received the waffles with a very light chocolate coulis the waffles were dry plus they were half and the price was very high for so little I don't do not recommend at all to FLEE!!

06/04/2026: The service was terrible, the attitude was awful, and the prices were unfair. I'm never going to this idiot place again. Just because the ordering was slow, they even resorted to racial discrimination! I simply can't stand this kind of restaurant. I'll never come back, and I advise everyone else to stay away too! Here's what happened: We ordered a seafood platter called the Royal Platter. It was supposed to include a 500g lobster, but we were told they didn't have one. We asked for an equivalent value of prawns, but not only did they refuse, they even argued that they'd replaced it with "equal weight" prawns (equal weight = several lobsters weighing 8g each added to the original number of prawns to make it equal to the original weight). We asked for either more food or a price reduction, but they not only refused but also started verbally abusing us and discriminating against us!

15/02/2026: A very good restaurant with a view of the port of Sausset. I fell in love with the pretty wooden tables and the smiling waitress. I went there during the sea urchin festival with friends and we ordered platters of shellfish and mussels marinière, which were absolutely delicious. The presentation was perfect. I would gladly return. The atmosphere is always great, and I can't wait to try other dishes.

15/02/2026: "Hello, do you have a table for two? Yes, please wait." Ten minutes later, still waiting at the counter, we were told they were out of oysters and sea urchins… Too bad, it would have been more helpful to mention it when we arrived… especially on a sea urchin feast day… So we left feeling like we'd wasted our time.

27/12/2025: The best bull rib steak I've ever tasted. The meat was incredibly flavorful and as tender as a beef tenderloin. It came from a local farm. Kudos for supporting local producers! Even though the side dish was rather simple (rice or fries), the tenderness and flavor of the meat more than made up for the somewhat lackluster accompaniment.

16/08/2025: Horrible bar I don't know if it's just with the tourists but we waited 20 minutes at a table the waiters passed in front of us several times without saying anything so we ended up asking. Apparently it was bar service but the person next to us, probably locals, sat down at a table and there he was, a big smile for them. They didn't even say hello to us. All that for a lemonade and two beers

07/03/2026: A classic brasserie in a central location. Very friendly service, a good menu with something for everyone. Regional specialties as well as a daily special. Dogs are welcome. This is how a brasserie should be; we look forward to our next visit.
