27/10/2024: Very friendly welcome even though we lost our reservation… well done for the cuisine! Small downsides: waiter in a hurry to finish from starter to dessert and it shows too much! Poorly adjusted coffee machine, so mediocre coffee and wine in a stale glass, too bad! We will go back for the kitchen, an establishment that needs to be refreshed in terms of the front…

02/12/2024: Restaurant currently animated and run with courage, and respect for the work of the ancestors, by sons and relatives of the founder on a farm. Obviously the simultaneous task of catering and farming is heavy, and we must hope for the arrival of a person exclusively occupied with the restaurant and accommodation to relieve and develop and vary the activity. Good traditional and authentic Cantal cuisine, this for starters and main courses. On the other hand, the cheese option seems too expensive and insignificant (4 euros for four lichettes), we would rather need a real cheese platter (and this is actually superfluous after an aligot or a truffade), and the dessert can be surprising, for example, we would like a tome tart, a blueberry tart... We greatly regret the disappearance of simple, rustic and authentic accommodation in recent years. We wish good luck and the best success to those responsible for this hostel.

24/11/2024: So we return to the time of our grandparents. Top-notch, family-style cuisine, unusual decor and a very friendly welcome. Bravo to you and thank you for this little nugget.

20/08/2024: We really appreciated the offer including reception, accommodation, catering, relaxation area (spa) and discovery of the surrounding area accompanied by a guide. It was the ideal place and meetings to disconnect and recharge your batteries.

19/08/2024: We found at Lac du Pêcher a very beautiful place to rest: far from everything, in the middle of the immense landscapes of Cézallier. It is a vast buron tastefully landscaped with respect for the site, the birds, the lake and the meadows. Not a sound, no light pollution, very pure spring water on tap and a wonderful Japanese bath to relax... Laurence and Daniel are calm, considerate and friendly. The evening cuisine, under the stars, is creative, delicate... delicious!

The Auvergne ham and its truffade will make you appreciate our very good gourmet terroir. We will come back . I forgot the staff who take great care of their customers.. A real happiness, great welcome with Mr...and very good advice for hikes, visits etc..thank you....very pleasant room and very good bedding. Impeccably clean. As for the meal, really excellent, everything was perfect. Well done to Madame in the kitchen. Don't change anything. So good and thank you for letting us taste all their local products. A great regret, having to leave again. Looking forward to coming back.

29/05/2024: Excellente cuisine , copieuse , goûteuse , servie avec le sourire. l'Office de Tourisme de Murat nous avait dit que la propriétaire était partie à la retraite... Panique ... Non , elle est encore là quelque temps aidée par sa fille

22/09/2024: Sympathique petit restaurant de pays. La truffade y est excellente et tellement bien servie que la restauratrice nous a proposé d'emporter le reste. Accueil chaleureux et produits du terroir pour une cuisine simple mais savoureuse.

31/08/2024: Sympathique restaurant, sans chichi, à proximité du lac de Lastiouilles. Cartes avec spécialités auvergnates : truffade, tarte au st nectaire, pounti… le tout pour des prix très raisonnables et de belles portions.

14/09/2024: Tout simplement super. Une cuisine authentique et généreuse. Trouver dans le même restaurant des pieds de cochons, des tripoux, des ris de veau, rognons est tout simplement inimaginable. Et qu'en supplément ils soient si bien cuisinés le rend exceptionnel.

02/09/2024: Sur la route des vacances, un arrêt O'2 potes au feu après avoir essuyé un refus au restaurant précédent qui était fermé. Et bien pas déçu du tout : des plats très copieux (nous avions pris plat et dessert et nous étions calés) et goûteux (bon onglet avec frites maison), du frais et bon En plus bon accueil avec une patronne serveuse qui manie l'humour avec entrain A refaire un arrêt une prochaine fois
