17/01/2026: A very pleasant inn; Mr. and Mrs. Darmanin are very friendly. We had an excellent New Year's Eve dinner, a very refined meal with a blend of flavors and spices that enhanced every dish. Charming and attentive staff. We recommend this inn without reservation.

09/01/2026: A lovely getaway in the Cantal region, nestled in the heart of its chestnut groves. The Auberge de la Tour is very welcoming. The room was very pleasant, and everything is done to ensure guests have a perfect experience. The welcome, the decor, the service, and the food were all excellent. Bread was served with every dish. Everything was tasted and enjoyed. Breakfast is a lavish display of fresh produce, many of which comes from local producers. The village of Marcolès is well worth a visit. We will be back.

27/12/2025: A warm atmosphere by the fireside. Mickael, the owner, enjoys a friendly atmosphere and is always happy to chat with his customers. You'll be greeted by Aston, the restaurant's mascot. A unique and charming spot, located in the hills above Murat.

23/12/2025: A must-visit in Murat! A superb experience; the meal was excellent and the welcome warm. Everything is homemade with fresh ingredients. The value for money is truly outstanding. The host is very friendly and recommended some lovely walks for us in the afternoon.

31/01/2026: Good evening, we were passing through last October. We needed to find a restaurant quickly, and this was the only one open. What a welcome! Being served at the counter because the restaurant was full didn't bother us at all. The food was so good, and the staff were very attentive despite the crowd. A very good stopover, as it's close to the motorway and much better than a motorway service station.

10/01/2026: We had a wonderful time at this inn, which lived up to its reputation. The welcome and service were outstanding: professional, discreet, and friendly. Thank you to the entire team. Tastefully decorated, this inn resembles a mountain chalet. Enjoying mulled wine or herbal tea by the fireplace, an aperitif, or a digestif in the bar's lounges... I highly recommend the gourmet dinner and the hot trout starter (which must be ordered in advance). The relaxation area, swimming pool, spa, and hammam complete this idyllic picture. The breakfast buffet is impeccable. The prices are reasonable and entirely justified. We will gladly return.

30/12/2025: A very nice brasserie! Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere. The dishes are very good and generous. One small drawback, however: no homemade mayonnaise.

25/09/2025: Incredible restaurant with cuisine like almost no other. All-you-can-eat starter buffet, choice of two main courses, cheeses, and desserts. Everything is homemade and excellent. I recommend it. The entrance from the road doesn't look like much, but the interior is an incredible surprise when you sit down at your table.

07/02/2026: While passing through Aurillac, we had lunch at this restaurant. The welcome was charming and the service attentive. The classic cuisine was well executed. The only downside was the ambiance.

03/12/2025: My husband and I enjoyed dinner here, the burger was delicious and the service was spectacular. We liked our burger so much we came back the next day for lunch and had the bourriol. They were extremely busy for lunch but we were able to get a seat, service was a little slow but it was worth the wait. Would definitely recommend.
