12/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful discovery on our way to Porto! We stopped at a superb place where we had a fantastic meal. The ceviche was perfectly seasoned, bursting with freshness and flavor. The Corsican burger 🍔 was excellent, served with delicious fresh fries. We were delighted with this experience. Thank you for the warm welcome 🙏 So far, the best reasonably priced restaurant we've found since arriving on the island. We highly recommend it!

Every dish was perfectly balanced in flavor and presented with meticulous attention to detail – true haute cuisine. The wine pairings were perfectly matched to the menu and wonderfully complemented the culinary experience. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates exceptional food. We will definitely be back!

31/07/2026: A very offhand service that seems tourist hardened but not mean-spirited. We chose the smaller menu. It started with a slice of what we were told was “raw fish” that was snapper-like, accompanied by a tiny bit of pickled baby vegetables that were insufficient to mask the fish’s lack of freshness. The next course turned out to be a “wagyu pastrami” which was a salty, lean slice of beef with a pleasant flavor accompanied by coleslaw and Russian dressing. The lamb was a real waste of a gorgeous LITTLE ( perhaps 60 gr) piece of young lamb souris drowned under a pile-on of far too many flavors which ended up a gloppy muddle. Overall, it was not a joyful meal and the faces of the other diners indicated that we were not alone.

28/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant with our dog (a husky). The view is incredible, overlooking the crystal-clear water with the Campomoro Tower in the background. We enjoyed breakfast and two lunches on the quiet, shaded terrace. A special mention goes to the grilled octopus and eggplant – truly excellent! The service is warm and friendly. Be sure to book ahead to guarantee a table, as this place is very popular.

25/07/2026: We ate lunch at this restaurant twice and were delighted both times. The service is friendly, smiling, and accommodating, even if you haven't made a reservation. For a restaurant by the sea, in a bay as well-known as Campomoro, you might expect average, or even poor-quality, food that will always find its customers because of its location. Well, not at this restaurant. The daily fish crudo is truly very fresh and delicious, with original and well-balanced flavor combinations. The prices are quite reasonable considering the location, and the view is worth the trip!

24/07/2026: Le Roy Théodore is a family-run establishment where the welcome is as warm as Corsican hospitality. Not to mention the cuisine, which is of exceptional quality. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive. A wonderful experience to be had in Sartène.

22/07/2026: A fantastic experience from the moment we arrived until the complimentary drink. We had two Corsican menus and two express menus, and all the dishes were truly delicious and generously served. Honestly, it was a real treat!

03/08/2026: Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, Warm and friendly welcome when we arrived, option to sit inside or out, Atmosphere inside was relaxed and very comfortable . Nothing was to much trouble during our visit, from the menu we selected the ravioli and courgette flowers filled with crab, leek fondue and lobster bisque accompanied with plenty of fresh bread, Veal fillet, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and a wonderful sauce. Cocktails, wines and drinks are reasonably priced with a good selection Fantastic last night holiday dinner, highly recommend.

20/07/2026: The quintessential Corsican restaurant! The ingredients are local and so beautifully prepared! I'm not sure if there's a choice of menu; I think there was a set menu for €50 per person, which included: two starters, two main courses, a cheese platter, dessert, coffee, and one or more surprise drinks if you're feeling generous ;-) Clearly, for a family of four (two adults and two children), that's plenty! And if there are two of you like us, you won't need to eat much during the day ;-) My advice: end your trip with this restaurant, otherwise you'll be disappointed by the price and quality of all the others. Of course, it's not right on the water... The Corsican family who hosted us said that this restaurant is truly iconic, and I agree! A quick word about the owner: absolutely adorable! We'll be back next time, but with our children ;-)

01/07/2026: Excellent, big burgers! My son got the Mexican (chicken), hubby, the Crispy, and I got the Classic. We were all very pleased. The gentleman that waited on us was very nice and attentive. Would recommend.

09/07/2026: A very good experience. There were eight of us, and we ordered different menus and dishes, all of which were excellent. A must-visit if you want fresh, homemade food made with quality local ingredients. The service is very quick and efficient, even though we did have time to chat with the owner. The prices are more than reasonable for food of this quality.

16/07/2026: A beautiful, timeless moment. The service was a little slow but very pleasant, and the quality of the meat was incredible. I highly recommend having the veal on Friday evening with the Corsican songs; it's truly a timeless experience. I give it a 100% thumbs up!

15/07/2026: My wife and I are so glad we stopped here. A very warm welcome, generous portions, and excellent quality ingredients, including Corsican veal – you can't go wrong! The location was breezy and shaded by a centuries-old olive tree. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.

03/11/2025: Unexpected quaint beach Cafe in a tiny village where our boat was met at the beach by a dozen wandering cows. The menu is very, very limited - but the food is excellent and the service is friendly. A must-visit for Girolata!
