19/10/2024: We ate in paradise, a heavenly panorama by the sea. A very good time, impeccable service, only downside: a little too expensive for the dishes served. But no regrets.

19/09/2024: Chance does things well... After a guided tour of Ajaccio, my husband, my dog ​​and I are looking for where to have dinner, knowing that we had not planned or looked for anything. A little research later, we arrived in this very small restaurant, a cozy and warm little setting. We ask if Toutou is admitted here. She is more than admitted there. She is welcomed there with a very pretty water bowl, full of water and ice cubes. 5 star service! Unable to choose between meat and fish, we choose the menu which contains both. Fortunately, because we would have missed incredible things if we had taken the "small" menu. From starter to dessert, it was a symphony of flavors. A subtle blend of originality and known tastes, delicious and comforting. I hate onions, this place made me eat them and appreciate them too! The mushroom starter was divine, the perfect egg (with lots of onions) excellent, the fish with forgotten vegetables of incredible finesse, the duck breast and purée exquisite, and the dessert... Both sweet and surprising, melting and crunchy. It was so good that it tasted like too little. The meal comes with bread and butter, on par with the rest. In short, it’s an address that deserves to be known. We loved it and will recommend it to all our friends. We'll come back!

19/11/2024: We went to dinner following the good reviews which praise this restaurant, and it was as part of an evening with a group who sang traditional Corsican songs, if you do not like the sound too loud, avoid this theme evening , impossible to talk to each other at the table the sound is clearly too loud! Food wise it's ok but not crazy either, the welcome is very good, a mixed experience considering the high price for this specific evening.

10/09/2024: Restaurant se situant au début de la vieille historique de Sartène. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Menu express à 22 € très correct. Possibilité de déjeuner dehors en terrasse mais aussi dans une petite salle climatisée.

09/10/2024: Increíble helado, encantadora señora de servicio que era encantadora y amable, incluso cuando puse mi cuchara usada en esta sección de cuchara limpia (todavía sin marcar) y ella tiró TODO EL TAZÓN! Un desperdicio, pero muchos otros han cometido el mismo error... ¿tal vez etiquetarlo? Pero realmente brillante y ella era encantadora!

22/09/2024: Un accueil téléphonique très cordial. Une carte simple , mais, avec des produits de qualité. Florent, est très chaleureux, énergique et donne d'excellents conseils sur les plats et la Corse pour les lieux à visiter ou non. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. La note est largement mérité. Excellent, établissement à recommander.

28/10/2024: Mention spécial pour ce bistro!!! Equipe professionnelle et avec un sens aiguë de l humour Les plats ( notamment celui à base de saumon, ou le riz aux gambas) sont une explosion en bouche. Les desserts sont parfaits! Pour ne rien gâcher, une vue partielle sur le golfe d Ajaccio 👍

03/10/2024: Ah, the allure of a fabulous location right next to the cathedral — surely the proximity to divine inspiration should extend to the cocktail menu? Alas, we fell into the classic tourist trap of thinking, "How bad could it be?" and ordered two cocktails. My bold choice, the local "specialty," turned out to be a masterclass in how to stretch a single drop of alcohol into a glassful of glorified grenadine syrup and crushed ice. I felt like I should thank them for the hydrating experience. My husband, ever the optimist, went for a classic cocktail, which managed to only slightly exceed the excitement of drinking flavored water. Service? Well, they were polite enough, though not in any way that made you feel like you should be ordering cocktails. But here’s the kicker — they do not take kindly to feedback. Even the self-aware kind where you graciously acknowledge that you made the foolish mistake of expecting a drinkable cocktail from an establishment that’s more about feeding hungry tourists. And of course, the privilege of this sobering experience comes with a price tag that feels as extravagant as the cathedral itself.

05/10/2024: Une pause gourmande à la Paillote Andrea, où j'ai dégusté la meilleure pizza chèvre, figue et miel ! L'accueil est à la fois chaleureux et professionnel, et la terrasse au bord de l'eau est tout simplement magnifique. Un bel endroit à ne pas manquer !

27/09/2024: I'm drooling just writing this review seeing the photos of the dishes 😍 A delicious evening in a very friendly setting (we were indoors). We had the duck breast with these potatoes and the Iberian pork pluma and my God it was good! The tiramisu at the end was just to finish us off 😎 The service was a little long but the restaurant was full, allow 1h30-2h there if you go there in the evening for the first service in any case (remember to make a reservation). The staff was very nice too ✅ In short I can only recommend this restaurant🤤

02/11/2024: Be careful if you don't like pork, you will be poorly received, humiliating remarks! Be careful to specify your choices carefully because a 26 euro bottle of wine can cost 50 euros! Bad experience for us!

19/09/2024: Very expensive for what it is!! Mussels from Spain!!! I asked for stuffed mussels and they brought me shelled mussels in a dish bathed in fat! As a result I was sick for several days!! Poor service from young people who didn't go to hotel school!! Tables on top of each other at the edge of the terrace where the smells of smokers were caught! Too bad the terrace is well located but I won't come back again

17/09/2024: Sur nos 4 jours à Cargèse, nous sommes retournés à deux reprises à l’Ortu. Déjà très satisfaits par l accueil souriant et fort convivial la première fois, nous avions vu passer la salade norvégienne . Du coup , retour le lendemain . Une atmosphère et un cadre super agréable, la terrasse couverte en bois est magnifique , l équipe est aux petits soins avec tous les clients ; il faisait frais vers 21h, l équipe a proposé , sans que ce fut demandé, un plaid chaud aux femmes , fait rare à signaler. Les vins au verre sont bien sélectionnés , le service est rapide et appliqué , tout est vraiment parfait. À recommander sur Cargese . Merci pour ces 2 belles soirées et le petit plus à la fin.

12/09/2024: Nous y étions déjà passé une fois et avions bien aimé. Nous ne pouvons que confirmer notre impression. Le service est très agréable, le cadre également, délicieusement ombragé avec vue sur la mer, et, surtout, les galettes sont succulentes. C est devenu définitivement notre étape déjeuner lors de notre passage à Cargese!
