07/12/2025: The daily specials are often varied, but the meat dishes are of inconsistent quality, and the cooking of meats is frequently inconsistent. There is little competition in this area. Business has been increasing since the change in management.

29/08/2026: A fantastic evening! Excellent food at a very reasonable price (€30 for a starter, main course, and dessert) on a lovely terrace on Avenue Victor Hugo, with a wonderful owner. Everything was perfect, thank you to Cyril and his young waitress; thanks to them, we had a wonderful evening. We'll be back very soon for another experience.

05/09/2026: People come back to this establishment again and again for the food, the warm welcome, and the exceptional setting. The rooms are simple but the bedding is comfortable. Aurélia, her team, and the other guests make you feel more like you're staying with friends than in a hotel. It's a place like this, and there aren't many left, provided you're open to this less Instagrammable style of tourism.

The dishes are excellent with generous portions. The interior is as beautiful as the exterior. I highly recommend it to anyone who sees my review!

Don't come here for a quiet dinner.
06/09/2026: Tapas caliente: Greasy, tasteless food, frog legs swimming in oil and completely flavorless – the baby squid was the same, the aioli was just mayo, the cocktail wasn't fresh – French fries, so greasy, but that's everywhere. The cod fritters were disgusting and spicy. Unfortunately, the set menu is appealing, but there are much better options elsewhere. We didn't have dessert.
