17/04/2026: Excellent food, both à la carte and the daily specials, which were very wisely chosen. A place we frequent regularly after our walks. Terrace with a beautiful view of the vineyards. Very tasty dishes, and kudos for the freshness. The carafe of wine is excellent; it comes from a renowned local estate.

14/12/2025: A family-run restaurant, the service is simple but very pleasant, and the food is simple yet well-prepared! A relaxed restaurant... glad to have it in Salinelle!

24/04/2026: A very warm welcome; our dog even got a bowl of fresh water 👍. Quick and efficient service with excellent value for money. Thank you for your kindness. This was our last stop on our way back from our campervan holiday. We parked after the bridge where there are plenty of spaces, and we highly recommend it 🍺.

18/05/2026: A small, unassuming restaurant where the food is absolutely delicious! And in addition to the quality, there's also plenty of it... The waiter is friendly. We'll be back. PS: Dogs are welcome.

18/01/2026: Bieng, bieng, bieng. A superb establishment run by a very friendly couple. Although the hotel is currently closed, the bar-restaurant is full of memorabilia about the village's history. The restrooms aren't exactly clean or state-of-the-art. Of course, they're not exactly tech-savvy. I encourage you to stop by, tip, and help this charming couple enjoy a peaceful and, it seems to me, well-deserved retirement. Thank you for the warm welcome, which was much more than usual! And see you soon, as they say here!

04/05/2026: Extremely disappointed to have bought a four-slice Black Forest cake for May Day! While strolling through Nîmes, I was surprised to see this bakery/pastry shop open on the public holiday. Accustomed to buying pastries, I was tempted by the Black Forest cake that had caught my eye in the window. (Knowing that very few bakeries/pastry shops offer it for sale.) The very helpful and friendly saleswoman gave me the following instructions (given that the cakes are kept at a "low temperature" in their refrigerator, according to her): "Once you get home, leave the cake out for two hours to eat it immediately this evening, then put it back in the refrigerator." "You can consume it for up to 3 days." Imagine my surprise when I ate a cake that was still hard/frozen in the center, and I realized I'd paid for a mountain of cream and very little sponge cake, practically none at all. Only the cherries were generous (and the cream, let's not forget). But worse, I got sick that very evening after the meal and spent the entire weekend ill… this was not how I had envisioned my May Day weekend. €16 for a "Black Forest" cake (4 slices) For cream and cherries? And the saleswoman was telling me about the bakery's reputation! I find this outrageous and I feel like I've been ripped off! I'm even considering going to a different bakery in the future.

22/03/2026: We arrived at 12:15 PM and were finally shown to our table at 3:30 PM without a word of apology for the slow and completely disorganized service. The asparagus soup was served cold and tasteless. The meat, however, was very well prepared and redeemed the meal. The birthday cake was a generic, snow-like thing. I do not recommend this restaurant.

22/03/2026: Very mixed feelings. The starter was excellent, but the main course for Mr. Salmon en Croûte was more like pastry with a little fish, and Mrs. Kebab was ordered well-done, but the inside of the meat was bloody and inedible. As a result, we didn't order dessert. Otherwise, the place is pleasant, although despite the empty tables, we ended up with a table in the middle.

18/05/2026: The food was so-so, but the waiter was really unpleasant; perhaps they should consider finding another waiter.

16/05/2026: The organization was very strange: one waiter only took orders in the order tables arrived, meaning we waited almost 30 minutes before he finally came to see us... The other seemed to be assigned to serving, so he just stood around with his arms hanging limply, waiting for something to do! We almost left without ordering, and three other tables did the same shortly after. Fortunately, the wait for our food was shorter after that. The meal was okay, but nothing special: there was sand in the salad and the cuttlefish wasn't completely cleaned (the beaks were still there). We pointed out these issues when the bill arrived, and they were acknowledged, but there was no compensation offered. The staff were friendly, but that doesn't seem enough to recommend this establishment.

02/11/2025: Excellent, succulent, exquisite, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some things... What more can I say? You have to go there to see for yourself!! Exemplary service at a fair price.

01/11/2025: Drawn in by the menu featuring an omelet with chanterelles and black trumpet mushrooms, you discover an exceptional spot: a awning-covered patio, an island of tranquility in the heart of Nîmes. The service is outstanding, the sommelier offers excellent advice, and the cuisine is homemade using fresh, local ingredients, orchestrated by renowned chef Sébastien Granier, a Bocuse alumnus (photo visible at the entrance). The wine cellar is top-notch... a set menu at €25, the omelet at €19... it's top-notch without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

23/05/2026: Peaceful and quiet, away from the noise of the city center. The staff is competent and incredibly welcoming, responding to every request. The room is clean, and the restaurant/bar is great. The pool and jacuzzi are truly lovely for relaxing. I highly recommend it. 😊

11/05/2026: We just ate at the restaurant for the third time this year for birthdays. Very good value for money, but please consider changing the hot dishes for the customers. And the bread – could you make something other than these mini long rolls, if you can even call them bread?

19/05/2026: We stayed at Les 3 Barbus for the long weekend in May, a very pleasant stay in a breathtaking natural setting. The place is perfect for recharging your batteries.

08/05/2026: A superb stay at Les 3 Barbus. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism in a magnificent, peaceful, and charming setting. The hotel is remarkable: the rooms are elegant, very comfortable, and impeccably maintained, with splendid views of the surrounding nature. You immediately feel a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for disconnecting and fully enjoying your stay. The bedding is excellent, and every detail seems designed with guests' well-being in mind. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and passionate, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit in the region for a truly timeless stay. We will gladly return!

03/05/2026: We took a short break during our bike ride on the Avignon-Pont du Gard greenway, and an oyster farmer was selling his oysters and prepared a fantastic platter for us. They were excellent, and we sat down at the café to enjoy them. Great atmosphere! 👍

27/05/2026: Asked if it was possible to have a drink and a bite and she pointed her finger and sent me to "the blue chairs" just next to it. I thought it was the same place, but nope... it was just another bar next door. They could have explained they only wanted to serve whole menu or explain me their concept and than tell me that I could go to a different place. They do advertise as a "bar à vins" which is what I was looking for and it's written really big on the outside everywhere so I think the lady just did not feel like serving... the place was pretty empty at that moment of the day (7.30 pm on a Wednesday evening).

19/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance and were delighted. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The desserts were very generous. Another great surprise from this restaurant, and the price was reasonable.

19/05/2026: We stayed two days at this hotel, which promptly charged us for breakfast upon arrival. The problem is that the hotel charged us for four adult breakfasts instead of two (I imagine the staff couldn't distinguish between children aged 1 to 6 and an adult), and despite a promise of reimbursement, nothing has been done. I should add that we didn't have internet access in our room. I will remove my review if the refund is issued.

06/05/2026: Excellent welcome. The staff is pleasant. Breakfast is very basic.... I recommend keeping the scrambled eggs and sausages separate from the hot plate. Nice room.

03/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at this crêperie. The crêpes were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and my 8-year-old son devoured them, even though he'd never wanted to hear about them again because they were always too dry at other places. "The secret is in the butter," as the waiter told us. Unbeatable value for money!

20/04/2026: Pleasant place. Efficient and friendly waiter. Very good galettes with generous fillings. However, the owner is about as welcoming as a prison guard. Not a smile and practically mute. A real shame…!!!!! It makes me neither want to return nor recommend this place.
