24/05/2026: A truly delightful place: for those who appreciate stone and authentic charm, you'll be in heaven—it's magnificent! Breakfast is plentiful: croissants, pain au chocolat, bread and butter with excellent jams, cereals, yogurt, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee.

19/02/2026: We received a very warm welcome from Eric, the host. He was very kind and helpful. The place was charming, clean, and peaceful. It was a haven of peace at this time of year (February). The surrounding area is wonderful, with lovely spots for walks. We felt completely refreshed. It was only an hour from home, but a total escape. I'll definitely keep this address.

04/06/2026: Very bad experience. I am very disappointed with this hotel. During my stay, there was no water, which is an unacceptable problem for a hotel. Furthermore, the staff were neither friendly nor helpful and offered no solution to the problem. The lack of professionalism and attention to customers made my stay very unpleasant. I do not recommend this hotel.

03/06/2026: !! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR SCHOOL TRIPS!! We had a terrible experience, I can't understand how this place is still open. Terrible staff, only willing to speak French and who won't even look you in the eye. The room for 4 people was tiny, with the beds almost touching. There were 3 outlets, one of which was half broken because it came out of the wall as soon as you unplugged it, and the others were inconvenient because you had to move the bed or the nightstand to use them. The plaster was peeling off the wall. The curtains were dirty, I don't want to know what. A friend of mine found the mirror BROKEN and the curtains stained brown as soon as he entered the room. But the worst part of this hotel is the service in general. They never changed our sheets, but there's worse: one day they left us without clean towels or new toilet paper, and the next day they didn't even make our bed. We found the room exactly as we'd left it before leaving. The staff is truly rude and unhelpful. I'll end with this anecdote: on the first day we sat down to dinner after a long flight and found a SPIDER on the tablecloth that crawled into a girl's glass. We also had to have about four forks replaced because they were all dirty, poorly washed, and rusty. All this right next to the kitchen; needless to say, I had a lot of questions about the sanitary conditions of that place. I won't even comment on the food; just read the other reviews.

12/10/2025: This isn't a restaurant, more like a fast-food joint. The hygiene is questionable; the chair backs were filthy. The bread comes from a supermarket; there were baguettes on the counter still in their paper packaging. The foie gras was industrial, not homemade. The warm goat cheese salad consisted of a lot of green salad and three small slices of goat cheese log. The cheese plate included three small pieces: two pieces of Camembert and one slice of goat cheese log. The prawns were okay, nothing special, served with a small ramekin of plain white rice. The glasses were mismatched on the same table. I strongly advise against going to this restaurant.

29/11/2025: Terrible. Rude servers, some pleasant ones. 21-minute wait, still not served. They don't like people with accents. The place is racist.

27/11/2025: If you think you'll be greeted with a smile, don't go there, unless it's the first cold weather that has chapped the servers' lips, there are plenty of other nicer bars in Nîmes.

28/04/2026: We used to eat there regularly under the previous owners… but unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our last dinner there under the new owners. What a shame…

26/01/2025: The staff was very friendly and gave me two amuse bouche as a freebie, and even when I said I wouldn't eat dessert, they gave it to me as a freebie :) I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably because the 4-5 employees who passed by without a single person kept asking me if the taste was good, if I was eating well, if I needed anything else, and if I needed anything, I could call them at any time! Plat was of course delicious 😊

25/01/2025: Impeccable service, nothing to say. But the prices are absurd: €21 for the cheapest entry, €10 for a bottle of Coke. It seems like it's meant to rip off tourists. Very disappointing.

19/05/2026: Outrageous! Mold everywhere and it's not clean. The rooms are run-down and there's no one around.

03/05/2026: Definitely worth a very long detour... to avoid it. The food is mediocre, The beds are hard, the sheets smell of cigarettes, The bathrooms are tiny, there are sewer smells coming up, And to top it all off, some ill-mannered person talked loudly until 5 a.m.... It makes me miss the good old ways.

THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE US HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME... and the chefs in the kitchen... with great taste, and the portions are generous! A MUST-SEE IN NÎMES! I LOVE IT... THANK YOU... 13/05/2026: Absolutely fantastic! A super friendly and cheerful waiter who spread his good vibes ✊🏼 The service was exemplary, we had a wonderful meal, and the owner was also very friendly and smiling. Honestly, it was very reasonably priced too, it was great!!

12/05/2026: Cafe around the corner from the arena with good coffee and crepes. Good service with lots of outside seating and a few tables inside.

16/12/2025: Great little brewery in Aimargues. And a must-visit during the village festival. Even though I never DJ there, I always have a great time.

16/05/2026: No fries today… it's impossible to work without a stock of fries, they're essential! The children's menu included industrially produced, microwaved chicken tenders that tasted awful! I asked for the chef to be informed… After my comment about the tenders, the waitress didn't react… I'm disappointed with everything!

21/11/2025: Tourist trap! They charged us €5 for a cappuccino that tasted more like milk than anything else. The woman who served us was rude.

21/05/2026: Fifteen minutes this morning at 9 am on the terrace without seeing a waiter/waitress... it's the third time in a row I've been there and it's been like this, not counting the previous times, regardless of the time or how busy it is... and it's not even crowded... I don't see this anywhere else... the place is really nice but well, there's probably "too much" business going on... and I'm probably just unlucky too ;-) Ciao, the bistros on Place aux Herbes are very nice

18/05/2026: The waiter Maxime is very welcoming, always smiling, it's a real pleasure to be served by him, he immediately makes the moment much more enjoyable.
