Victoria offers excellent advice on wines and dishes, and Nicolas, the chef, masterfully blends flavors. Take the time to savor and enjoy. Time flies, and our taste buds are delighted. 31/07/2026: In a very touristy area where bad restaurants abound, I found a real gem. At Le Paiou, the dishes aren't just good: they're refined, creative, and visually stunning. And what makes the experience even more special is the family story behind the food: the mother provides service with genuine kindness, exceptional attentiveness, and a true sense of hospitality, while her son, in the kitchen, brings talent, precision, and creativity to every dish. A place I recommend without hesitation.

15/07/2026: Everything was perfect, from the family atmosphere to the food; we all loved it. There were six of us, and we followed the owner's recommendations, and frankly, it was pure bliss. You can tell he's a fishmonger by his skill in selecting fresh products. This restaurant was taken over a little over a year ago; it's a family business and authentic, just the way we like them in this region. We left happy, and we'll definitely be back! A truly great time guaranteed.

26/07/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The menu features local specialties, with fresh ingredients and delicious dishes. The service is excellent: the staff is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The wait time is perfectly reasonable, allowing you to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. A great place to eat in Aigues-Mortes that I highly recommend.

21/07/2026: Appalling service: an interminable wait. We were seated immediately, but it took 15 minutes to get the menu, then another 25 minutes for our order to be collected. Finally, after another 35 minutes, we were served tuna tartare and chicken brasero (both undercooked dishes, which are clearly very quick to prepare). We asked a server for bread every chance we got, but we never received any. The dessert of the day, a lemon tart, was not homemade and really not good. The food was quite good, apart from the dessert, but needing two hours to eat is unacceptable.

A big thank you also to our server, who was exceptional: very attentive, smiling, professional, and with a great sense of humor. His warm welcome and good cheer greatly contributed to making our evening even more enjoyable. We simply mentioned our disappointment with the portion size of one particular dish, and the responsiveness of both the server and the manager truly deserves to be highlighted. The explanation was perfectly understandable: a recent menu change that required some minor adjustments. We greatly appreciated your attentiveness and consideration. A truly wonderful experience that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will gladly return!

06/04/2026: Opening weekend to forget. Servers more concerned with the cash register than with their customers. The food was good, except for one cod dish that tasted fishy. Oh, and I almost forgot, all this on the terrace in a temperature of only 13°C. Before you run, you have to learn to walk.

30/07/2026: Tourist trap food. The beef tartare was a frozen portion. The goat cheese salad (bagged salad, supermarket baguette, the goat cheese was actually a log made from cow's milk). The mussels were undercooked and the sauce was very bland. The desserts. The apple tart, red berry bavarois, and chocolate fondant were frozen.

29/07/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant as a family: two adults and two children, one of whom was a toddler. The waitress, Chloé, was incredibly efficient and always smiling throughout the meal, despite the busy schedule. The food was delicious, and the terrace is lovely.
