We ordered grilled swordfish with a lightly curry-spiced mashed potato, served by a very friendly young trainee, and we finished with a delicious apple tart drizzled with caramel. Thank you all!

09/02/2026: A truly appalling experience from start to finish. Hygiene-wise, it's bordering on the absurd: disgusting toilets, a cockroach spotted near the kitchen, and dirty glasses that smelled of fish, as if they'd been rinsed in a sink at a fishing port. That alone is enough to kill your appetite. The dishes arrive cold, with the impression of having been hastily reheated and defrosted. And when you see the chef handling meat without gloves on their social media, all trust vanishes. #capland Frankly, Philippe Etchebest would surely be thrilled to pay a visit to this kitchen… it would be enough for a special episode. The service is just as bad: appalling welcome, rude staff who speak to customers poorly. And the prices seem arbitrary: two cocktails advertised at €5 each, and we ended up paying €15. We clearly felt like we were being ripped off. Between the questionable hygiene, the lack of respect, and the questionable practices, this restaurant resembles a nightmare setting more than a place to eat. Finally, walking through this restaurant feels like crossing a bar floor after a festival… but without the excuse of a crowd. Avoid at all costs.

11/11/2025: In the year of our Lord 2025, riding for the king through the lands of Toulouse, I stopped in the city of Grenade, at the threshold of a house called La Croisée des Saveurs (The Crossroads of Flavors). This name, I must say, aroused my suspicion, for many a tavern keeper boasts of flavors and delicacies without ever serving them. I presented myself as a noble herald of the royal palace, bearer of a sacred quest: to find, for our lord, the finest cooks in the kingdom, those whose hands do not tremble before the fire or the sauce. I therefore sent word to the chef for a sauté of farm-raised veal from Gers with olives, a dish perilous above all others, where many a cook has broken their neck. The master of the house, a man with clear eyes and a proud bearing, accepted the challenge without a word. The fire crackled, the meat hissed, and soon a scent so noble rose from the hearth that it thrilled my seasoned senses. When I tasted the first bite, my doubts vanished like mist in the sunlight: the veal, tender and true to its land, blended with the olives so perfectly that it seemed a marriage sealed by God and by art. The waiters, diligent and discreet, served without affectation but with poise. The place exudes order and restraint, no unnecessary pomp, but everything rings true and true. Thus I bear witness, I, a knight in the service of the king and censor of the kingdom's kitchens: La Croisée des Saveurs is worthy of inclusion in the royal register of exceptional restaurants. Let no gourmet pass through Granada without stopping here, for it is a work of art and culinary integrity. Written on parchment sealed with my seal, under the blessing of the king and the breeze of the South.

The manager, both discreet and attentive, contributed to a serene atmosphere. Everything was perfectly coordinated, from the setting to the food, with a genuine sense of conviviality.

29/01/2026: We had lunch for Mother's Day and the food was really good, grilled chicken and duck breast, the roasted pineapple was really excellent. The only negative points were that we were next to the kitchen?!? And there was a loud noise of dishes constantly rattling which spoiled the experience a little, it was definitely the table to avoid! Then we waited a long time for coffees.

04/02/2026: A truly fantastic restaurant! My wife and I are new to Toulouse, and I was looking for a nice place to celebrate my birthday (November 2024 for my first review). There's no set menu; everything is à la carte, but the portions are well-balanced. We're not big eaters and don't like to waste food, so we were hesitant to order a starter, main course, and dessert, but our waiter was incredibly helpful with his recommendations (thank you!). I really liked the wine list, as it has quite a few wines from the Aude and Hérault regions, since I'm originally from the area! We opted for the house-smoked salmon and parsley-crusted razor clams as starters, which were perfectly cooked. Then we had a duck breast skewer with foie gras sauce and a delicious plain flank steak! The meat is of excellent quality, exceptionally tender, and they know how to cook it perfectly over a wood fire. Next time, I'll be less timid and order the ribeye steak straight away! The potatoes, prepared the old-fashioned way and served with it, were fantastic!!! We should have asked for it without salad to avoid waste. For dessert, we had homemade crème catalane and a Paris-Brest with homemade whipped cream. Plus, there was an extra little candle as a surprise—it had been ages since I'd blown one out, and I had to try twice to blow it out!! In short, some longtime Toulouse residents recommended this place to me, and you can go there without hesitation! The establishment was actually opened by the father of the current manager, if I'm to believe what I've been told. One tiny negative point: my wife's glass of red wine was ice cold, even though it was ordered well in advance... We went on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was packed! Another visit to this lovely establishment on December 25, 2025 (yes, Christmas Day!), I did indeed order the ribeye steak as promised and it was absolutely delicious :) (They're open every day except January 1st; we had the same waiter, we recognized each other :)) Meat lovers, it's an open bar for your appetites! Superbly cooked over a wood fire, incredibly tender meat—in short, you absolutely must go!

02/02/2026: The appetizer at this small grill restaurant was excellent: prawns. My main course was Rognon Veau Entier. The veal kidneys were grilled whole, but far too hot. They were cooked through on the outside but already a bit too dry, while the inside was completely raw and undercooked. I could only eat about a third of the kidneys. That was disappointing. My complaint to the service staff went unanswered. I had imagined a Christmas Eve dinner to be quite different and was very disappointed.

19/11/2025: A true gem in Beauzelle. Each time we visit, the cuisine is impeccable: traditional dishes prepared with care, a variety of perfectly cooked vegetables, and sauces that are almost addictive… Today, the duck was remarkably tender, accompanied by an assortment of expertly prepared vegetables. The service is attentive, and even the takeaway dishes are well-presented: nicely packaged and kept warm while we enjoyed our starters… it exudes professionalism and respect for the ingredients. A restaurant where you can feel the passion behind every plate. We always return with pleasure.
