20/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! We had a wonderful time enjoying a perfectly executed five-course menu, with dishes that were as refined as they were delicious. The setting is magnificent, full of charm and character, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was top-notch, attentive, professional, and warm from beginning to end. A big thank you also to the team for accommodating my pregnant partner's dietary restrictions with such kindness. It was a thoughtful touch that we particularly appreciated. We will definitely be back!

03/02/2026: After some confusion about the restaurant, I booked L'Absolu for my birthday, thinking it was a different restaurant I'd already visited. With my children, grandchild, husband, and me, we walked through the door with many questions on our minds. Honestly, we all unanimously had no regrets; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, everything was delicious, and the dishes were beautifully presented. We had a lovely evening. I'm so glad I discovered this cuisine and this place, which I wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you to the staff for the warm welcome. A wonderful discovery!

20/01/2026: Tucked away in the suburbs, this is the place for meat cooked over charcoal right in front of the customers. It's good; expect to pay around €40 per person if you order à la carte. Reservations are a must as it's often full. There's a small parking lot nearby.

30/11/2024: The Oko café was our great local discovery of the month! I have rarely tasted such delicious, homemade pastries. When you smell the ingredients so strongly before even taking a bite, you know you are on good products!! Rest assured that we will come back punctually, the Oko café is now on our map of great places in Rennes. 23/11/2024: I came to try the yuzu with matcha, it was absolutely delicious. The matcha was a nice green color, didn't stay too much on the tongue, and had a vegetal taste but not unpleasant. I will come back, great experience 🍵💚

16/01/2026: We discovered this place just 5 minutes away, and given the very mixed reviews, we decided to give it a try. The pan-seared foie gras was very good (and not 5mm thick!), the snails were good, the sirloin steak was very tender with a delicious sauce, the pork knuckle was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the side dishes were excellent too. The welcome was very warm and friendly, the atmosphere convivial, and the decor lovely; we will definitely return.
