07/07/2026: An excellent choice! L'Escarbille restaurant offers delicious cuisine, prepared with quality ingredients and great care. Each dish is as beautiful as it is tasty. The service is professional, attentive, and warm, making the experience even more enjoyable. The setting is elegant and perfect for a pleasant time, whether as a couple, with family, or with friends. A restaurant I highly recommend and where I will gladly return!

Affordable price: €16 for a starter, main course, and dessert. What I find a shame is that the website doesn't list the price ranges. You can tell she knows what she's selling, and that's nice!

01/07/2026: We came as a family for Mother's Day, and the dishes served were beautiful and delicious! The owner was very accommodating and attentive. The shaded area was lovely, and we had a wonderful time!

It's a restaurant like they don't make anymore, with a more traditional style of cooking where taste takes precedence over decor. The ingredients are high quality, cooked with care, and the prices are more than reasonable. Thank you for this meal.

09/07/2026: A very disappointing evening, despite our initial high expectations after having dined there a year ago. We arrived at 8:00 PM, the amuse-bouches arrived at 8:50 PM, followed by a 40-minute wait for the starter and then another 40-minute wait for the main course. To make matters worse, the poultry was unfortunately undercooked. The service only sped up with the cheese and dessert courses; the syrup was sticking to the bottom of the plate, suggesting it had been prepared too far in advance—surprising for a fine-dining restaurant. Even for a tasting menu, the wait was excessively long. The service was unpleasant, and the two staff members seemed to be struggling to manage the 20 covers that evening, which was evident. It's a shame because our first visit had been a resounding success, and apparently, the astronomical wait between courses was intentional (after we asked about it). We were very disappointed with our evening. It's a real shame, once again.

18/07/2026: A warm welcome, just like the people of eastern France know how to offer, and cuisine worthy of Alsatian grandmothers. Eating sauerkraut in the summer was a pleasure and a feast; even the presence of the oven for the flammekueche was a welcome touch despite the heat. I felt like I was dining at the home of friends who know how to cook and host exceptionally well. Undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in Toulouse's Colombette district...

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff were very friendly, smiling, and pleasant. We ate inside, but the terrace looked lovely, so we'll definitely be back.
