21/08/2026: If the manager's bitterness were limited to his own dishes, the world would be better off.

01/08/2026: Very disappointed, even though I'm a regular customer. I was a victim of racial profiling. The guy clearly showed his disinterest in my order. I ordered a plate, which is usually a generous portion, but this time there were 20 grams of meat on the plate, piled high with salad, and barely any fries. Plus, they were soggy, undercooked, tasteless, and completely uninteresting. I won't be back.

29/01/2026: Update: We've been here several times in recent years, and it's become one of our favorite restaurants. We definitely recommend this place when we want to enjoy a night out with a great atmosphere, good service, and delicious food! We dined there on April 25, 2025, and were able to sit outside for an aperitif before enjoying a delicious dinner inside. The restaurant is small (and that's perfectly fine!) and popular (because of the friendly staff and the delicious food), so reservations are definitely recommended. Highly recommended!

08/10/2026: A very nice lunch. Fresh and tasty food. A generous calzone and a hearty burger. The staff is friendly and very efficient.

03/10/2026: The thin pizza crust was very good. The toppings were perfect. I recommend it.

17/09/2026: we've now visited 3 times, and haven't been disappointed yet. The poisson is always spot on and the meats are cooked perfectly. Yesterday I had the Souris d'agneau confite au thym, and it was heavenly. It was one of the best meals I have ever had in my life.

22/08/2026: We stopped for a break on a long journey. Fantastic! Super friendly waitresses, delicious salad and burger, and a yummy tarte tatin. Thank you, Le Palais!

23/09/2026: PERMANENTLY CLOSED. We had a reservation for 22/9/26, however. We found ourselves standing in front of a closed door. Upon inquiring with the neighbors, it turned out he had closed permanently last Saturday. However, the gentleman did not deem it necessary to notify us. We came all the way from Belgium specifically for him and his restaurant. A pity.

11/07/2026: Exquisite cuisine and excellent wines. Special mention goes to the liqueurs and brandies, which were very varied. The service was elegant, a level of service that too few establishments still achieve. A big thank you and well done!

05/10/2026: Don't be fooled, this is a bistro that's well worth a visit. The welcome is warm, you feel right at home, there's no fuss... just genuine humanity (which is sadly all too rare these days). The food is simple, but delicious! I loved everything, and I'll definitely be back if work brings me back to Limoges. It was a very, very pleasant evening. My sincere regards to Jean-Luc, Joël, and the other regulars I had the pleasure of meeting. Hope to see you again soon, and don't change a thing!

14/09/2026: What a welcome!! We stopped at number 147 for a coffee and were greeted by two menacing dogs, circling us and barking. "Trained, not aggressive," said the owner, who had to grab a stick to shoo them away. It's unacceptable to allow such dogs to run free when you're serving customers. My wife was terrified. I'm not keen on stopping there again, which is a shame, as the setting seems pleasant and the restaurant reviews are very positive.
