08/06/2024: Very nice establishment with good flavor and surprise on the plate, fair price, game of boules and molky available. The boss who is retiring soon and very pleasant as well as the waitress. Beautiful sign. And happy retirement!!!!

11/09/2024: Late publication..We celebrated our son's 18th birthday at the beginning of July. Costel was perfect from the beginning (telephone reception, discussion on menus) until the end. Accommodating, open and friendly, the meal was excellent and so were the little touches. There were 12 of us and everyone enjoyed it ❤️ thank you again

12/08/2024: De passage dans la réfion nous avons dejeuné le midi. Menu ouvrier a 13€, sans prétention, avec des plats de qualité. Filet de poulet, accompagné de ratatouille et haricos verts (les légumes proviennent du jardin, ils étaient exelents). Le service était tout aussi bon, la proprietaire prend le temps de vérifier si tous vas bien et est très serviable. Notre seul regret et de ne pas etre venu au bon moment pour profiter des plats à la carte (soir et week end).

16/07/2024: Nous venons au Plateau de Noblat depuis de nombreuses années avec enfants et petits enfants, tous ravis de l'accueil fort sympathique , de la très bonne qualité des produits, et de la vue sur Saint Léonard.

30/08/2024: I must say that the new team lives up to the previous one! The food is excellent, the service is perfect, all for a reasonable budget. Thank you for the little attention in the doggy bag, it made me very happy.

15/08/2024: I took a sea bream with sunny vegetables which was disgusting, the sea bream ??? no taste of the sea bream, failed cooking, taste of rubber in the mouth. Vegetables of the sun 2 cherry tomatoes with uncooked lentils and an unpleasant smell that I ended up vomiting. And a vomit-inducing andouillette accompanied by frozen potatoes that are too fatty. In conclusion to avoid but really this restaurant.

29/07/2024: A magnificent, calm area, where it is good to recharge your batteries. We had a great time at the restaurant: trout in all its forms, homemade fries, delicious local meat. The icing on the cake: adorable and attentive service! We will come back :)

03/09/2024: Fast and welcoming service. Pleasant terrace. Decent price. Portions more than reasonable. Can take the excess.

01/09/2024: The cuisine is acceptable without more. Big downside on the service. Your plate is cleared far too quickly, which gives the impression of being a nuisance!

22/09/2024: Had a great lunch here, sitting outside in the pretty square. The Maître d' speaks perfect English (with a strong US accent!) and was able to explain the finer points of the menu. Closes for the winter months but definitely looking forward to returning next year.

19/09/2024: We booked this hotel over the phone. We arrived late in the afternoon and had dinner. Very kindly welcomed by the landlady who took us to our spacious, clean and well-equipped room (newly renovated!). We went down for dinner. The menu offered included 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts to choose from. After some advice from the waiter, very pleasant and friendly, knowing his dishes well, we placed our order. And what a surprise it was a dinner full of flavors, an explosion in the mouth which exalted the right mix of spices and a Limousin meat cooked to perfection accompanied by small vegetables which went well with this beautiful piece of meat!!. All the praised products were fresh and cooked by the Chef 🧑‍🍳 Edith, the boss!!. It was such a beautiful and good place that we had lunch there on Sunday afternoon. We highly recommend Douce Demeure in Mortemart, the only village classified as "the most beautiful village in France in Haute Vienne!!. See you soon for another "gastronomic" stopover!!."

12/12/2024: I was happy to have lunch there, but the lady who received me had decided otherwise. I think my biker outfit doesn't suit him anymore!! She made thousands of excuses, finally lies, for me not to have lunch there by offering me a snack several km from her restaurant. Biker friends to avoid! So I settled on a great little restaurant in Chateauponsac!! You Madam who received me, I don't blame you, but above all don't take people for idiots!! The final excuse: “I didn’t receive my deliveries” ah ah ah ah!! Adishatz

30/05/2024: Former bar from the 70s discreetly up to date, the welcome and service are impeccable. The cuisine is simple and tasty, served very quickly, we enjoyed the andouillette and the delicious homemade desserts. Good choice of wine by the glass. All for a very advantageous price, I recommend this stopover in a village full of charm. One suggestion: improve the toilets which are ok and clean, but could be greatly improved.

14/09/2024: Toujours un excellent moment chez Philippe Redon. Une cuisine sublime, un service de grande qualité, on se sent bien dès l’entrée et ensuite….on se laisse aller, de surprise en surprise. Excellents conseils pour le vin également, franchement, c’est un pur moment de plaisir. Nous y reviendrons, comme nous l’avons déjà fait, dès que possible. Bravo !
