No wine list, but the selection by the glass is perfectly adequate. Quick and efficient service. For what's on offer, the 5 stars are well deserved.

31/07/2026: I simply wanted to say that the only time I came, I came in for a drink and asked the waiter if she was a virgin. He then looked at my colleague and said, in a serious and condescending tone, "She's not a virgin, she's just an alcoholic," before turning his back on her. I found this remark disrespectful and inappropriate.

24/08/2026: I bought a minced chicken sandwich, but I was shocked by the amount of parsley and onions! There were even long stems of parsley. It's a shame, I threw it away before I could even take a picture because I was so disgusted. It should have been called a "parsley-onion sandwich" rather than minced chicken.

17/05/2026: My experience in the beginning was to be honest sonewhst mixed, but then „Nicolas“ and „Luisa“ from the front office (supported by the front office manager) made a difference, so I decided to provide a good review. Sometimes, unexpected things might happen, but what matters then also is how relevant stakeholders deal with the situation and they did outstanding.. Merci beaucoup.

07/08/2026: A restaurant with a charming terrace in the citadel of Blaye, with friendly and delightful staff who go out of their way to explain their dishes. Arriving at 2:30 pm, after lunch service in France had ended, we could only choose from the tapas menu: baked Camembert with honey and herbs, and a shared platter with charcuterie (chorizo, salchichón, and a ham similar to Serrano ham) and cheeses (goat's cheese, Camembert, and another, Conté-style), confit garlic, honey, chickpea hummus, red pepper hummus, gherkins, bread, and butter. For dessert, homemade ice creams with very original flavors such as Breton palet biscuits or spirits like Pineau de Charente. To drink, cranberry syrup with sparkling water, peach syrup with still water, and a glass of Clairet Bordeaux rosé, a more intense 100% Merlot. The interior decor is lovely, and there's a high chair from the 1960s in France.
