14/03/2026: When I was younger, I often came with my friends to eat their delicious truffle pizza. Recently, I went back with my husband and felt incredibly uncomfortable. We already felt unwelcome, since we were the only ones with a distinct ethnicity, and even more so because I was wearing a headscarf. The waiter had the nerve to serve us small ham pizzas. We ate the pizza, which was definitely not as good as before. To be honest, the crust was still very good, but the toppings were completely different—very few truffles, not enough flavor. It used to be one of my favorite places, with its intimate atmosphere and terrace that I loved in the summer, but unfortunately, the restaurant has its loyal clientele and clearly doesn't want to welcome anyone different!

The meat is of very high quality! It's a festive place with a family atmosphere... in short... I highly recommend it!

12/01/2026: Truly disappointing. First, we were greeted by what was undoubtedly a very nice person, but one who was clearly influenced from a young age and smokes seven packs of cigarettes a day. What she said was unfortunately incomprehensible because of her voice. Then we ordered a burger… completely frozen! From the bun to the meat and even the fries!!! Really bad, and it was soaked in sauce. We were charged €34 for that! What's more, the whole place reeked of cigarettes mixed with cannabis, making the experience truly unpleasant. I do not recommend it.

30/01/2026: A fantastic find in La Défense! Delicious dishes made with fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant, ideal for both a business lunch and a more relaxed evening (I tried both with colleagues!). I highly recommend this place and will gladly return!

30/03/2026: The café was almost empty at 9 am, yet someone asked for a quick coffee after more than 5 minutes. No smiles, clearly I was in the way. I wouldn't recommend starting the day with a coffee here...

24/03/2026: I came for a drink on the terrace and the experience was frankly disappointing. The waiter was neither friendly nor welcoming, clearly giving the impression of being a nuisance. A minimum of courtesy is the bare minimum in this profession. I won't be back.

13/03/2026: Everything was great, great location, very friendly reception and the hotel is spotlessly clean.

08/03/2026: The rooms are clean and new, and it's great that there's a Brita machine on each floor. It's close to the subway and relatively affordable, so I'd definitely use it again when I'm sightseeing in Paris.

We came with our ten-day-old baby, Agathe... the atmosphere was great, the bavette steak and steak tartare were superb, we'll definitely be back. This restaurant offers great value for money with a two-course menu (starter + main or main + dessert) for €19, and a three-course menu (starter + main + dessert) for €25, available for both lunch and dinner. And the menu changes every two weeks! The food is entirely homemade, delicious, and of high quality. My partner and I had a very pleasant time. I highly recommend it! 😊

09/03/2026: I'd wanted to try the Hippopotamus in Rueil-Malmaison for a long time, and I finally did on a Sunday evening. What can I say about the floor? It was a complete disaster, with many missing wooden planks hidden under rugs. The dishes were fresh and tasty, but not very generous. The dessert was a bit of a letdown, but quickly rectified. The waitstaff was excellent, always smiling and taking the time to check on us. A few small things to improve: they should use paper straws in all the cocktails, offer larger portions, and perhaps even implement the Hippopotamus loyalty program.
