01/01/2026: A truly warm and friendly welcome, and a very wide selection of crêpes and galettes that makes you want to try everything! I tried the Helena crêpe (if I'm not mistaken about the name): a real treat, delicious and incredibly generous. I highly recommend it!

13/09/2025: The restaurant looks nothing like the photos anymore... neither the dishes nor the pancakes. The restaurant is dirty, not suitable for families or people with reduced mobility. As for the quality of the pancakes and crepes, as well as the toppings, it's not "bad," but it's far from being high-quality. The staff on site, however, is very kind, smiling, pleasant, and accommodating.

05/03/2026: Review 2026: Always a pleasant evening spent with friends. The dining room is very comfortable. The menu is excellent. Updated review 2024: A very good place. The menu is excellent and the wine selection is interesting. Two price ranges for the set menus allow you to treat yourself according to your budget. Cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. Very pleasant staff. Dining on the terrace under a palm tree was lovely! They offer service quite late into the evening, which is convenient if you're finishing drinks late.

04/03/2026: A very disappointing first experience. To begin with, the restaurant is difficult to find, which doesn't help to get the experience off to a good start. On paper, the offer seemed appealing, with a very reasonable price-quality ratio. Unfortunately, the service was far too slow: over 45 minutes of waiting for the main course, which was "okay, but nothing special." No one asked us if we were pressed for time, even though we had an hour and a half. A little foresight or communication would have been appreciated. The apologies offered were very limited and unconvincing, especially since the restaurant wasn't particularly full. We were expecting some kind of compensation, but that didn't happen... We won't be returning.

06/01/2026: A must-visit in the Sainte-Anne neighborhood! Enjoy delicious dishes (including their famous homemade fries!) to suit all tastes at reasonable prices! It's simple and very good! And what about that little coffee we enjoyed early in the morning on the terrace?! Special mention for the warm welcome; the staff is lovely!

19/12/2025: Very disappointed with my visit yesterday! The service was far too slow. I arrived at 12:15 PM and wasn't served until 1:40 PM. In the meantime, I even had to ask to order a drink... The main course finally arrived, but the meat was cold! And as for the coffee, the waiter seemed to have trouble taking my order... He wasn't particularly pleasant either. And to top it all off, the state of the restrooms left much to be desired!

05/12/2025: If you want to have a coffee, whatever you do, don't come when the employee is mopping the floor because you'll be treated very badly.

08/02/2026: The food was very, very average, even terrible, just like the service. Especially when I hear the chef or the owner talking to the young people who are there to learn. Young trainees getting 6 or 7 out of 10, what a great management job! And then they complain about not being able to find staff, what a joke. Be fair to yourselves and your apprentices.

19/01/2026: A great little neighborhood restaurant. The welcome, service, and menu were all excellent. And all at a reasonable price. The terrace must be lovely in the summer.

01/03/2026: All our dishes were EXCELLENT, the service was very friendly and efficient, and the chef was nice. Nothing to complain about, BRAVO!

20/02/2026: Keep walking. 10 euros, two glasses of Muscadet and a few peanuts... what more can I say! Unheard of!!!! The authenticity of La Bernerie-en-Retz is gone (we've been coming to the region for 32 years). Head to the village market square instead for real food.

07/02/2026: The food was very good. A seafood sauerkraut dish and a generously filled 3-ingredient galette.

16/01/2026: A pleasant surprise, the seafood sauerkraut was superb, the €26 three-course menu (starter, main, and dessert) was enormous and unbeatable value for money, just be patient

19/02/2026: The daily menu is hearty, but don't expect gourmet cuisine; it's more like a cafeteria. Everything revolves around pasta or potatoes. This restaurant reminds me of a working-class eatery. I didn't try the pizzas. However, the welcome is pleasant, and the service is efficient and friendly. The dining room is pleasant.

14/02/2026: On Valentine's Day evening, the restaurant kindly found a small table for my son and me, as the restaurant further down the road was closed. Thank you to them for the warm welcome and the delicious pizza.

03/02/2026: A really nice bar! The place is well-decorated, welcoming, and really lively in the evenings, with a great atmosphere. The service is quick and efficient, which is much appreciated. A big plus: the darts! The only slight drawback is that the space is a bit cramped when playing with several people, but it doesn't detract from the fun. Top-notch bar, we had a fantastic evening!

28/02/2026: Expensive and not good, my sea bass had two sad-looking potatoes and a tiny bit of broccoli. The "homemade" sauce didn't seem homemade at all, and the leek fondue was really bad. I don't recommend it.

02/03/2026: Beautiful location, well-crafted and delicious menu. I had to try all three desserts, they were so good!

02/01/2026: Disappointed, no seafood platter service just before 7 pm. Only shrimp were offered.

16/11/2025: I live an hour's drive from the bistro, but every time it's a real treat! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the sauce with the periwinkles is divine, EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS. Of course, you have to like shellfish and fish, or not have any allergies. ENJOY IT WITHOUT MODERATION!

18/02/2026: Valentine's Day meal… A truly wonderful time; we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dishes. The scallops were delightful, and the sauce accompanying the veal was simply divine. Thank you to the chef; a pleasure from appetizer to dessert! 👍
