21/08/2026: A terrible experience. I called the day before to make a reservation, and they didn't even ask my name. When I arrived today, there was no greeting, no smile, and I was simply told to leave. It's inhumane to treat people like that. It's pure and simple dehumanization. A minimum of respect and consideration would have been the least they could do. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

25/01/2026: The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the dessert! They have a very good pastry chef! We were quite disappointed by the rest. Overall, the entire meal lacked flavor, from the amuse-bouche to the main course! The price of the set menu didn't seem justified for what was on the plate. The "perfect egg" was advertised with Colonnata lard, but there wasn't any... and the pulled pork dish with coleslaw was far from what we had imagined this restaurant would be like, a place we were looking forward to visiting. It lacked refinement. The wine prices were definitely on the high end! The restaurant's decor is very nice, but that's clearly not everything... and it's not very intimate; with large tables, it gets very noisy!

17/08/2026: The waiting room was sweltering during the heatwave, and I had to wait four hours after my train was cancelled.

17/08/2026: A dome of heat... South entrance, a paved plaza, tables and benches in full sun. Most of the fans on the upper level aren't working. No train announcements over the PA system; the old-world charm is gone. A staff member quickly announces that the platform information will only be displayed 20 minutes before departure: a fleeting, lightning-fast appearance. Access to the platform is handled by staff who are slightly (or even more than slightly) grumpy; greetings and smiles are perhaps in the lost and found. Of course, how can you blame these people who work in the furnace of a building designed to roast passengers and staff as surely as a summer barbecue? They are there, faithful to their posts, still bravely facing the extreme temperatures, the lack of air, donning their uniforms and caps; we can thank them. The architecture needs to be changed, and the exterior too, to bring some relief from the heat. From the drop-off area to the lobby and then this interminable wait in the sweltering heat, you almost want to talk to the architect or whoever designed this esplanade. A complete failure...

09/11/2025: We slept well, everything was clean. The managers are pleasant and welcoming. No complaints!

30/08/2026: We arrived half an hour before closing time, and it seems it wasn't just the boat that was drunk. Wrong orders... lemon butter crepes instead of brown sugar crepes... bitter butter crepes... and the staff's behavior was appalling! We won't be back!

06/09/2026: A very nice place, the food is good. However, the service was a major drawback. There was no organized system for seating the servers. We waited 50 minutes between our appetizers and main courses, and they even forgot our coffee. It's a shame. We'll try it again, though.

06/09/2026: We came to eat last night and received a very warm welcome. The bar was truly excellent. My daughter had the burger, which was really delicious, with homemade bread and tender beef. And the palova was a delight. In short, everything was very good. A big thank you to the kitchen team.

22/04/2026: A pub called Guinness Serving Guinness with an unsuitable tap Honestly, not good, especially at €8 a pint! The answer: the Guinness had no taste, no texture in either the beer or the head, nothing like a Guinness. If it's not the tap, then your keg is watered down; I can't see any other explanation.

02/04/2026: The bartender's behavior was unacceptable; she was outraged that my mother-in-law wasn't drinking alcohol in the middle of the afternoon simply because she was in a bar! At what point in 2026 do we question someone's choice not to drink alcohol?

12/04/2026: Overall, the brasserie is decent, but the food is rather mediocre. It can still be a pleasant place for a quick bite and a chat with friends. However, the service was truly disappointing. On this particular Sunday, it was clear the waitress didn't want to be there: no smile, little politeness, and no particular attention to detail. As a manager, it would be essential to hold a team meeting to address this and improve the customer experience.

14/08/2026: A very authentic atmosphere to experience Parisian evening café life. Locals mingling, cheerful waiters, delicious food and drinks.

09/08/2026: A beautiful, historic establishment located in a vibrant, multi-ethnic neighborhood just a short distance from the Voltaire metro station. It's popular with locals and, in addition to its delicious cuisine, is renowned for its many variations of absinthe, which is served in the traditional manner, with the classic cold water fountain and a spoon holding a sugar cube. Highly recommended.

17/05/2026: It was delicious! We were so sad to learn a few weeks ago that this restaurant had closed. We loved the tikka masala and the butter chicken. The naan was a special mention. All the best.
