23/08/2026: Friendly restaurant, children welcomed with a smile, a little something extra inside for them! Clean restrooms. We also had a good meal.

20/08/2026: Friendly welcome and flexible hours. Good traditional cuisine made with fresh ingredients. Mussels are only available when in season. Mussels from Île Dumet only. I recommend it.

21/08/2026: The daily specials are always excellent, and the menu prices are reasonable. Staff 👍

19/08/2026: We had barely ordered when the starter arrived, even before the drinks. It wasn't fresh (raw fish), and I had stomach aches after the meal. I wonder how long the plates had been out of the fridge. Furthermore, I only ordered a starter and main course, and I was charged for the full set menu even though I clearly specified what I had ordered.

10/08/2026: A wonderful evening! We ordered starters, main courses, and desserts, and everything was delicious (with flame-grilled meats cooked to perfection, and a wide selection of sauces). The children's menus are also very good, with real desserts. The service was perfect and quick. A special thank you to Antoine and Jérôme, who were incredibly welcoming and attentive! We will gladly return and hope to see you again :)

22/08/2026: This bar/restaurant is seriously overcharging on the bar side of things. The prices are high... €5 for a pastis?! And the beer... since there's only one on the menu (!) is expensive and served in a paper cup. It's clear the café isn't a priority... okay, the place is nice for the view, but it's still a paved terrace in Tharon-Plage... where all the other bars and outdoor cafes nearby show much more respect for tourists and locals like myself. Keep walking. ****** Oh no, I just left a review... and I realize, reading the others, that I'm likely to get a lot of flak in return... apparently, when you leave a negative review for this establishment, you get a very poor reception... A bit like the service itself, in short...

30/07/2026: Avoid at all costs!! They serve you a coffee, and then take it away after 5 minutes. "You'll have to free up the seat," "Go inside." The people at the next table are stunned. They're treated the same way. The woman is unfriendly!! "If you don't like it, go somewhere else." 😂👏

10/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the atmosphere… well, mostly because we had to entertain ourselves. As for the rest, an absolutely memorable experience… but not in a good way. The carbonara pasta was so bland it tasted like it had been made with water. No flavor, no enjoyment. And because a meal without surprises would be too simple, we also got a little surprise extra: hairs on the fries. Apparently, it's the new house topping. 🤢 As for the service, there were two waiters: a young woman and a young man. It was very difficult to know what was making them laugh so much, since they seemed to chuckle every time a customer walked by. Perhaps some kind of novel entertainment concept: a restaurant where customers don't know whether to eat or participate in the show. Special mention, though, to the atmosphere: 5/5. We were served so well that we ended up having to make ourselves laugh. 😂 In short, if you're looking for bland carbonara, fries with a surprise extra charge, and free entertainment provided by the staff, you've come to the right place. For us, it was a first... and definitely a last. 👋

14/07/2026: Hello, we came around noon on July 14th and ordered two Caesar wraps and two pastries. The wraps were a bit small for the price, but very tasty. The pastries weren't anything special, probably not fresh (defrosted the day before, most likely). The most annoying thing was the almost empty dining area. The staff seemed completely unresponsive (four of them were chatting in a circle behind the counter), yet not a single clean table! We spent about 35 minutes there and nothing happened. When we left, we clearly said "goodbye," but they were so engrossed in their fascinating conversation that they didn't respond. Perhaps they were having a day without a manager, but a little reprimand would be appreciated. Have a good day.

11/07/2026: Cold, unmotivated, unfocused salespeople with no smiles. They forgot to ask if I wanted a hot or cold slice and forgot to charge me for the baguette initially.

18/07/2026: Once again, a fantastic welcome and great advice. The staff are really friendly, and there's a great atmosphere. The bread is good, as are the pastries and pizzas. The pizzas are reasonably priced ☺. I can't comment on the sandwiches and cakes as I didn't try them. The service is quick. The only thing missing is an online ordering system to make it perfect!

10/07/2026: This is my second time at Ange, and unfortunately, I won't be going back. I'd heard about the lack of hygiene, but this is true, as you can see in the photo. There was a cockroach crawling in my dessert container. So, I won't be eating my dessert. Be very careful, or run away quickly!! Otherwise, the staff is pleasant.

27/08/2026: Had a brilliant goats cheese baguette with rocket, walnuts and fig compote. The chocolate eclair was brilliant too. Lovely lady who served us and helped us through as the bumbling, weary English family! It was very busy so clearly very popular with locals
