30/10/2024: Très bonne soirée à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de ma maman, Excellents plats copieux fait maison par un cuisinier de talent. Ambiance chaleureuse, service discret et efficace. Nous y allons au moins trois fois par an et nous ne sommes jamais déçus

Produits frais raffinés, très belles assiettes pour la vue comme pour les papilles. Un caramel maison à en tombé par terre. Merci beaucoup pour cette magnifique soirée. Je recommande

06/08/2024: Endroit toujours aussi exceptionnel mais au fil des années la qualité diminue. Client fidèle de l'endroit depuis cinq ans nous constatons que la carte a du mal à se renouveler dans la qualité des poissons en particulier et l'ensemble au final est légèrement décevant. Service sympathique mais parfois un peu long...

03/08/2024: We had two dinners here on our trip through the Loire valley. There are few options in the village and our hotel had booked us here both nights. A great setting in the garden overlooking the Loire and the chateau. An average review in comparison to other places we visited. Food was good without being exceptional and one or two items which differed from the description on the menu be that French or English. Service OK without being as friendly or professional as other places we visited.

25/10/2023: Arrival 1 p.m. more than red meat, no vegetarian plate and the next day salmon but no more spinach... desserts the same... Well we eat a little fatty but in a group... Not to my taste

15/09/2024: Puy du Fou partner hotel not listed in the Puy du Fou satisfaction survey for feedback. Friendly and responsive staff. Room could do with a good refresh as it is dated. The exteriors should be better maintained, automatic watering with the pipes which overflow into the alley which leads to the rooms: you can get your feet caught in them, they should be reorganized. Very decent continental breakfast, a little expensive compared to accommodation in France, €3 more for fewer products. We were just there to sleep so ok.

04/09/2024: Very satisfied with this hotel, don't listen to the slanderers who are choosy, for 3 times as much they will have a Louis XIV style room full of gilding at Puy du Fou. Friendly welcome, quiet room, very varied breakfast, thank you.

06/07/2024: Endroit incontournable pour ceux qui aiment les champignons et l'ambiance troglodyte. Rapport qualité prix imbattable et service impeccable. Réservation indispensable car l'endroit est réputé.

22/05/2024: Service au top, les serveurs sont avenants, j’admire leur rapidité et leur courage. La nourriture est bonne et le lieu insolite . Nous avons passé un bon moment !!! Nous reviendrons au prochain séjour.

23/07/2024: A very well placed coffee shop/patisserie in the centre of Saumur. We had a delicious pastry and coffee. Only thing that needs improving is the service, the lady who was working there the afternoon we visited was rushed off her feet so perhaps it would be a good idea to employ someone to help her

09/07/2024: Very nice little restaurant! The dishes are very good. We took two main course and dessert options (€15.30): -A cantal tart, peppers and artichokes which has a lot of cheese but you don't really smell the artichokes, it was a treat. -A turkey tagine with prunes and sesame which was very good, the turkey pieces are very tender -A delicious peach pie -A melting and delicious pink praline brownie (maybe a little praline was missing) The coffee is also very good. In short, we had a great time and we understand why the restaurant has been recommended by the little smart guy since 2015!!
