03/09/2024: This is a very underrated restaurant. According to the review, it is much better than this place, but the taste is terrible. A while ago, a Korean person introduced it on Yutuk, so I looked it up, and I recommend squid ink risotto, potato pork pig's feet, beef daube, and pavlova, sweet and sour, for dessert.

02/09/2024: Had dinner here in Oct 2023 with my party of 7. We really enjoyed our meals and drinks and the atmosphere was clean and not crowded. Most of us got the stew which was very good although very hot. Our service was excellent. This was definitely one of our better meals on our London/Paris trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

13/09/2024: Superb welcome from the coffee master this evening. One of the crates doesn't work, she doesn't want to open the other two on the pretext that they are already done. So she refuses to serve us.

02/11/2024: Landed here after leaving the Auberge St Pierre in despair. What a difference. Virtually immediate service with a smile, good food and great people-watching. "The Boss" then appeared in an amazing pair of bespoke bright red braces, which turns out to be his trademark. Quite a character. A good time seemed to be had by all

16/12/2024: Déjeuner entre collègues avec impératif horaire spécifié lors de la réservation qui a été entièrement respecté. Personnel accueillant et professionnel. Menu du bistrot (entrée, plat et dessert + bière de Noël) de qualité et sortant de l’ordinaire avec une viande de cerf très tendre, marquée en goût mais suffisamment « adoucie » avec la marinade pour être appréciée lorsqu’on est réticent sur ces viandes au 1er abord. Stationnement facile lorsqu’on arrive en début de service. Après plusieurs repas à intervalles irréguliers, sur plusieurs années, l’avis est toujours très positif sur un rapport qualité/prix qui ne déçoit jamais.

15/09/2025: This was a great discovery. The waitress which unfortunately i did not ask the name was simply awesome. Super friendly and in best mood, she recommended us a salmon which was very likely one of the best we ever had. Prices were fair. Location great in the cute small town place... Highly recommended!

20/09/2024: Amazing food served by very attentive and polite staff. I had the langustine, followed by the delicious garlic prawns. The sauce was not aggressively garlic, while complementing the prawns perfectly. I enjoyed the creme brulé with a glass of the locally distilled triple sec. My wife enthused about her moules mariniere. Portion sizes were plentiful without being belly busting.

18/09/2024: I highly recommend this seafood restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience. During our regular visits to visit relatives, we have always been delighted by the copious and delicious dishes offered. The staff and the director stand out for their availability, smile and kindness, which contributes to creating a very pleasant atmosphere. I particularly advise you to taste the sea sauerkraut, as well as other dishes that are magnificent both visually and in taste. In addition, the bottles of Saumur from local producers perfectly complement the meal. An address to remember for lovers of seafood and good cuisine.

23/12/2025: I would always return to this restaurant. Highly recommend -,it’s a hidden jam of Angers. Each dish has a sign of the enormous preparation and philosophy behind it, beautiful presentation and light cheerful ambience. Careful choice of the ingredients and wines, I will be coming to this place every visit to Angers.

15/09/2024: The food was excellent, but I was extremely shocked that the cutlery wasn't changed between the appetizer and the main course. My wife ended up eating a delicious quail dish with the same fork she'd used for the crab appetizer! From a culinary perspective, this is disastrous, and from a principled point of view, it's unacceptable in a fine establishment. I urge you to consider this.

14/09/2025: The dining room is reminiscent of a classic restaurant; there's nothing Breton about it, but the room is tastefully and classically decorated. The savory pancakes are good and generously garnished, and the menu offers original compositions. The service is a bit slow.
