12/09/2025: Very good meal, à la carte. The foie gras was delicious, the pikeperch perfectly cooked, and the white butter was a treat. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and recommend it.

03/07/2026: Shameful welcome, mediocre food, and misleading advertising (photos attached)! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! An absolute disgrace from start to finish. Arriving at 2 PM, I first had to endure a patronizing and demeaning lecture from the waitress to make me understand that "it was borderline." Appalling customer service. The horror continued with the food: the €15.50 lunch special (main course/dessert) consisted of half-empty, practically inedible mussels. The ultimate rip-off came with dessert. As you can see in the attached photo of their menu, the menu clearly states: "- DESSERT - THE DESSERT OF THE DAY." Nowhere does it mention that you'll be forced to serve a single scoop of coffee ice cream! I explained to the waitress that I don't drink coffee (I'm almost allergic to it) and politely asked to change it to another flavor from the long list on their menu (see second photo). The waitress's closed and dismissive response was: "It's this or nothing, but you'll pay for the whole menu anyway." This is pure and simple false advertising. Displaying "Dessert of the Day" to force a non-modifiable scoop of coffee ice cream is unacceptable. To top it all off, their €10.50 children's menu explicitly states "SCOOP OF YOUR CHOICE" with 5 flavors to choose from. Something's not right here: you pay more for fewer choices and absolutely no consideration. I was therefore forced to pay for a dessert I couldn't eat. In short: a humiliating welcome, a mediocre meal, and a complete disregard for business practices. They openly treat you like an idiot. Avoid this place! Instead, take a few more steps to the brasserie next door: the welcome is infinitely warmer, the service impeccable and the food of much better quality.

11/07/2026: Probably the worst Guinness I’ve ever had, staff were friendly but if you call yourself an Irish pub and serve a flat Guinness in the wrong glass with zero foam and a weird smell.. sorry but that’s 1star

11/07/2026: The staff were absolutely lovely, but it's an absolute disgrace to serve Guinness of this quality. I've never seen anything like it. I'm willing to withdraw my review if things improve.

14/05/2026: The restaurant looked a bit dingy. The cutlery wasn't particularly clean, and some trays at the buffet were either not cleared or had been cleared incorrectly. The staff can't be blamed for the latter, but they could tidy up more often. The breakfast buffet itself offered a good selection.

24/06/2026: It's a shame to order a rillauds salad and receive just pan-fried pork belly (rillauds is indeed pork belly, but confit in lard), which gives it a completely different flavor. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

30/05/2026: Exorbitant prices for what it is. An unusual place, but not worth the prices (free entry advertised on the website, which is FALSE). It's small, so it gets very crowded, the smoking area is always open, and the smoke reeks of cigarettes, making you want to throw up on the dance floor.

23/06/2026: Friendly and cheerful welcome and sells excellent pastries. There's a small air conditioned seating area where you can enjoy them with a hot or cold drink. Probably the best patisserie we visited in Saumur
