14/09/2024: Very long order taking while there are few of us in the restaurant. Then, quick service but frozen carpaccio meat, still ice cold. XL portion at 18€ served while I asked for a simple carpaccio at 8€... industrial and cold fries. Nevertheless, good artisanal ice creams and nice decoration. I do not recommend this place, profit at the expense of quality!

04/08/2024: Based on the wonderful reviews of this restaurant, we booked for our wedding anniversary. We were sadly very disappointed by the food- although beautifully presented, both starter and mains were unseasoned and flavourless. My starter of a medley of tomatoes with scallop ceviche used unripe tomatoes with of couple of bland scallops sprinkled on. The vegetarian main was some sort of savoury aubergine muffin on a bed of finely sliced and raw courgette- non with any flavour. My husband had the cod- once again very bland and disappointing. There was no background music, service slow (we ended up pouring our own wine) and the view of the vineyards obscured by a fairly overgrown hedge and uncut lawn. Given the prices charged we expected more- this was like fine dining from 20 years ago.

15/05/2024: Pastry shop in the center of Angers. Well-found flavors that delight the taste buds. Original creations and great classics (strawberry tart type) really well made, just like the chocolates. The whole thing is not too sweet, which is a real plus.
27/04/2024: When I was in town this afternoon, I bought 2 individual cakes. This evening, at dessert and from the first bite, horror: a long hair in my pastry! This was my first visit to this store. I will not repeat the experience…

23/07/2024: A very well placed coffee shop/patisserie in the centre of Saumur. We had a delicious pastry and coffee. Only thing that needs improving is the service, the lady who was working there the afternoon we visited was rushed off her feet so perhaps it would be a good idea to employ someone to help her

01/09/2024: I leave my opinion as a high-level sports client quite experienced in national and international travel. And I was very disappointed with the final score. For the welcome it is very good the hotel is very well located 30 seconds from the ring road towards Paris or the other direction towards Cholet.
I stayed there for two nights I had booked a pmr room♿️, and yesterday when I returned around 6:00 p.m. to the hotel to come change after my tennis matches and take a shower, I arrived in my room and there my sheets had not been changing the towels in the same way, in short since I was in a hurry I operated on system D to be ready for a gala evening and I reported it to the reception who did not know how to react last evening and so this morning I left this hotel by reporting it to reception who told me that for stays of 2 nights they do not change sheets or towels. The receptionist made a commercial gesture to me which was very kind, but I would not come back to this hotel again, such a shame.

01/09/2024: We had a very good evening with friends. Beautiful setting and good cuisine.
21/08/2024: As a starter, the gizzard salad was good followed by an excellent pikeperch with white butter. The service is a little long but the panorama offered by the river is calming, all that was missing was a musical atmosphere and possibly some flowers to perfect the setting. The value for money of €34 per person all inclusive remains interesting for a Sunday lunchtime.

03/09/2024: 5 minutes from Angers, the revival of Pois Gourmand in this new place ''like in the countryside'' is a success! The spirit is preserved, with cuisine that is still excellent and retains its simplicity. A wine list with always great discoveries and a team that is always so friendly and professional! Go go go
