06/08/2026: A small restaurant near the harbor – but with a rather big story behind it. The owner, in his late 30s, spent ten months cycling along the borders of France. He apparently not only racked up some serious mileage, but also a wealth of culinary inspiration. His journey resulted in 50 recipes for his own cookbook. It was clear then that this wasn't just any old place. We started with a delicious gazpacho, followed by truly excellent main courses. So good, in fact, that suddenly our neighbors' plates became quite interesting. Luckily, we all agreed that sharing wasn't stealing in this case. Anyone visiting Cherbourg should definitely check out this small, intimate restaurant in addition to the classic seafood restaurants. A fascinating story, a friendly host, and food that piques your curiosity. Highly recommended!

18/06/2026: Really good spot by the coast on the estuary. Accommodation excellent - staff too! Did not try the restaurant because it was closed but they went out of the way to find an alternative down the road.

It was a super relaxing atmosphere; you can feel his passion for his work and his pleasure in making customers happy. The food was top-notch, absolutely perfect value for money. 07/08/2026: Excellent restaurant with semi-gastronomic cuisine. A new menu is introduced approximately every month. Great atmosphere, and the waiter was very kind, efficient, and full of humor. Thanks to the chef who knows how to balance flavors perfectly; I never needed to adjust the seasoning. Looking forward to trying the upcoming menus.

16/08/2026: What a place! Fire is this restaurant's essential element, provided it's properly controlled. Respect to the person in charge of the flames, because upon closer observation, they seem to orchestrate many things, ensuring that everything fits together perfectly, like a conductor leading their musicians. We warmly recommend this restaurant: everything is excellent! And we'll be back 😊 Also, kudos to all those who work behind the scenes in the kitchen.

18/08/2026: Our vacation rental was just a few meters from Couleurs Saveurs, so we thought it would be a good idea to try it. And it would have been such a shame to miss out on this excellent restaurant where the colors are not only present on the plates, but the flavors are truly exceptional. All the dishes are beautifully crafted with aromas, creaminess, crunch, and surprises like the Camembert espuma with apples poached in Calvados. Bravo to the chef! The service is also perfect, thank you ladies!

04/08/2026: The dishes were quite good (squid for one and lamb shank for the other), but be aware that there are optional side vegetables (rice/potatoes) which are extra. It's true that they're listed on the menu, but the waiter didn't mention that they cost extra, which is rather unusual. Hence the 4 stars and no more.
