28/02/2026: At first glance, the woman seems nice. But after you leave, expect criticism from her, whether about your appearance or your personal life. Avoid at all costs!! (Fat-shaming remarks, comparing her clients to animals...) In short, I won't be going back.

12/04/2026: A large, beautifully decorated dining room, tastefully and respectfully showcasing the building's historical character. A delicious, refined lunch. A varied and original menu, with affordable wines. A relaxing atmosphere with a view of the courtyard and the castle fortifications. An excellent address and superb cuisine. It's nothing like the restaurant I knew a few years ago. Everything has completely changed, for the better.

11/04/2026: Hello everyone, We spent a weekend at this hotel (Château). For those who appreciate castles and their authentic charm, this is the place for you. When you enter the grounds through one of the carriage gates, you're immediately immersed in the atmosphere. Then you enter the hotel through a reception area that has retained its original character, a period staircase, and the magnificent armory, which also serves as a restaurant. The rooms are equally stunning. If you want to travel back in time, this is the place to be. As I've already mentioned, read about the history of the château and you'll discover a whole chapter of Normandy's history. Regarding the welcome, it was impeccable; the staff were always smiling and friendly. The restaurant was good, as was the breakfast. Finally, if you're looking for a hotel like the many you see along highways, Château de Bricquebec isn't the place for you. However, if you appreciate authenticity, history, kindness, and the good life...you are most welcome.

29/12/2025: A truly special place! At the bar, the men gather over a beer, the owner keeps a watchful eye on everyone, and greets them with a warm smile. The decor is colorful and vibrant, with great attention to detail. The service is warm and friendly, and our rather limited French was met with helpful English. The food was fantastic! Fresh, delicious, and homemade. Our dog was also welcome. We will definitely be back!

21/11/2025: Avoid this place. A very unpleasant experience, the owner made inappropriate remarks, the service was already overwhelmed after just two customers, the dishes were dirty, and the mussel pot was rusty. Truly disappointing.

02/01/2026: Friends ordered a New Year's Eve dinner. For 31 of us, we were all disappointed. The portion size was disappointing. We chose cod and vegetables. I'm still looking for the fish, which must have stayed at sea. There were two shrimp, a tablespoon of cod, and a lot of sauce. So I don't recommend it.

04/10/2025: We had a wonderful stay. Clean, spacious, and functional mobile home. Perfect location, close to various attractions and quiet. Great swimming pool and playground, something for everyone. Campsite near the sea

02/10/2025: Very nice campsite with super well heated swimming pools, finally and yes they exist and it's really the best!!! We were just bothered by work on the neighboring mobile home from 8:30 a.m. until 12:20 p.m..... And problem with TV reception....otherwise it's great, still entertainment in September and that's rare.

12/02/2026: The food was good and plentiful. Excellent value for money. With a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert, we left with drinks costing less than €26. My only slight complaint is the lack of atmosphere. It was a weekday in February...

31/01/2026: Great place! Set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €22. The food was delicious. Special mention for the duck parmentier. The service was managed by Erwan; he was working alone and did a fantastic job! I'll definitely be back.

06/04/2026: There were four of us, we ordered two kebabs, a burger, and a taco; everything was excellent, the service was perfect, I recommend it to everyone.

21/11/2025: Truly excellent cuisine, flavorful and generous. The €15 lunch menu is outstanding value. The dishes are tasty, inventive, and consistently delicious. A restaurant well worth a visit.

14/02/2026: A restaurant with a nice menu, a rustic setting, and quality food, but a major drawback is the service. Half an hour between each course, and when I went to pay, I understood why: "the owner went to lunch" in the middle of service, even though half the tables were still occupied! I've never seen anything like it.

14/01/2026: Excellent hostel. We go there regularly during the holidays with the children. The staff are very friendly and always have a kind word for the kids. The menu is simple but of very good quality.

23/03/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We ordered a seafood platter and foie gras as a starter, followed by lamb and scallops, a half-bottle of Saumur wine, and dessert. The wine was brought to us already opened. I had my doubts about the freshness of the seafood, but I didn't want to make a fuss (I figured, being by the sea, it must be fresh), but I was right that very evening. We felt unwell, nauseous, and went straight to bed. The next day, we were both sick; it was awful until 4:30 in the morning. My apologies for any spelling mistakes; I'm English.

26/02/2026: Old-fashioned and quirky atmosphere. The waitress did her best. The food was okay. But the prices were exorbitant. A glass of port for €9.50? I've never seen that! Too bad, we won't be going back.
