27/04/2026: A very nice hotel and restaurant, charmingly old-fashioned and tasteful. Everything is perfect; the owner, the chef, and Amandine are all fantastic. In the kitchen, from the outside, it's not "Hands off the loot," but rather "Hands off the chef's knife." Audiard could have written it. 😉 Keep up the good work, it's perfect.

05/07/2026: Best creamy mussels around! The fries are homemade, the mussels are delicious and plentiful, and the Normandy cream sauce is excellent. We got takeout. Very reasonable price. I recommend it!

18/07/2026: The chicken was very dry, three small pieces about 2 cm by 2 cm, really dry, I couldn't eat it, it was frankly not very good. The rest wasn't great either, I don't recommend this place. The staff is very pleasant, but there's nothing extraordinary about it. It's a place they're copying from Buffalo Grill, I think it's the chain, but it's not good. I didn't check, everything is extra, the sauces are a whole other story. I won't go back. The decor is nice, but the food is disgusting. The ham is wrapped in cellophane and smells of preservatives, as does the chicken, which isn't free-range and is really dry. There's nothing to see, it's disgusting. Avoid this place! Even though the staff is very nice, I won't be returning.

18/06/2026: Served despite the late hour (1:40 pm), we were able to eat a simple but very tasty dish. Being the last customers, we were able to chat with the owner.

16/05/2026: Welcoming and friendly restaurant, we had a pleasant time at the establishment, top-notch waitresses, delicious and inclusive cuisine, fast service, we recommend the place.

11/06/2026: A lovely, welcoming, and warm team. We took advantage of the private room for a small gathering of family and friends to share memories following the passing of a loved one. The buffet was excellent and met our expectations. Simple, with very good quality products and generous portions. A place I highly recommend. Thank you to Camille and her entire team. 16/05/2026: I didn't have lunch at Versailles Normand, but I had coffees and soft drinks there, and it's very pleasant, well located for relaxing on the terrace. The welcome was very friendly, and one of the employees had an adorable four-legged friend!

29/06/2026: What a fabulous find! We popped in here for lunch today, after reading so many positive reviews on Google. The staff/owners were all extremely welcoming (both to us humans and our dog), and served us a good hearty 3-course Menu du Jour (at least 3 choices for each course) for only €15.90 per person. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back, and highly recommend the place.

27/04/2026: We came here by chance because we needed to charge our laptop. We were very kindly allowed to charge it at no cost, and the coffee was not bad either. It is a central place for locals, many come to have coffee in the morning, read the newspaper, and browse. Charming, very local :)

04/07/2026: Not rating the hotel but the restaurant. We had a wonder experience last night. The 4 of us picked the menu: Envie de tout, with pairing wine and tea. The meals were delicious and the service exceptional. We can hear that there is passion on their craft. Nadia gave us great explanation of her passion for overall well being, connection with Tea practice in China and Japan and the fine dining.

22/06/2026: Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn’t particularly impressive. The service left a lot to be desired, and the food felt rather repetitive. I wouldn’t consider it the best choice for anyone looking for a truly memorable gastronomic experience.

21/07/2026: It's a killer, we had kebabs and tacos, they were so so so good, it's really amazing, fresh meat and 0 fat, homemade bread, the tacos with homemade cheese sauce to delight your taste buds, it's a must try

21/07/2026: This is the best kebab I've ever had, it's so good! The fries are real homemade, better than fresh fries. The owner is fantastic, super kind, super friendly, and very attentive. I recommend it 100%!

15/12/2025: What an incredible restaurant! You can't find better in Granville. Plus, it's perfectly located on the Plat Gousset. And the chef—let's talk about him! He's practically Paul Bocuse, but funnier! The owner, Renaud, is a very good waiter; he should do stand-up comedy on the side—he's very funny too. That's all, kisses!

15/07/2026: Despite the restaurant being very busy this evening, the experience was excellent from start to finish. The service provided by two people was simply outstanding: professional, attentive, and warm, without ever feeling overwhelmed. A special thank you to the waitress for her insightful wine recommendations, perfectly paired with the dishes, and for her ability to tailor the suggestions to our preferences. It truly made all the difference. A wonderful restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend in Cherbourg!

24/05/2026: Hello, I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding our experience at your establishment. The service was very poor from beginning to end. The waitress was unfriendly and unwelcoming, and we felt like we were bothering her throughout the entire meal. Furthermore, the meat served was practically raw, even though it wasn't cooked to our liking. Despite our complaint, no real effort was made to rectify the situation. The most disappointing aspect is that no compensation was offered despite these obvious problems. This is regrettable given the overall poor experience. It should be shameful to serve such a tasteless dish. We hope that this feedback will be taken into account to improve the quality of service and food in the future.

20/05/2026: Very disappointed. Main course, dessert (pre-packaged), no alcohol or coffee... €70 for 3 people. The duck parmentier was very dry, the beef was rare... medium-rare, and the steak tartare was prepared without any explanation of the seasoning; the waiter couldn't tell us. The daily specials board only offered one meat dish. A fish option would have been preferable. It used to be better! We won't be going back.

19/04/2026: Upon entering the restaurant, we received no welcome whatsoever (no greeting, no glance, etc.). Once seated, we had ample time to read the reviews, which are entirely consistent with the restaurant's reputation. We had to wait over ten minutes for our menu. Changing or removing an ingredient from a galette is impossible, let alone doing so with a smile. Let's talk about the food... It was lukewarm, the galette was soggy, and I suspect it wasn't fresh. When we went to the restroom, we noticed several flies, not to mention the lack of cleanliness. We didn't risk ordering dessert. To end on a positive note, I suggest you review your customer service, the quality of your food, or perhaps your pricing. I advise you to take into account the 400 reviews, which are rated HORRIBLE. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this restaurant; it's a complete rip-off. Good luck, forever!

18/04/2026: Very disappointed. The room was not as advertised. After spending days searching for the perfect room for our mother's (and grandmother's, as the whole family chipped in) 80th birthday, with a view of the bay (a lifelong dream), we learned that the only window in her room looked out onto a roof, just 10 cm from it. So, no view whatsoever. At over €200 per night, this is certainly disappointing. Especially since the hotel is trying to excuse itself by saying they never claimed the photos were accurate. Except that nowhere is there any mention of "photo not contractual" or any other wording suggesting the room wouldn't be the one shown in the picture. In short, this is unacceptable, and we are extremely disappointed. If this had been clear from the start, we wouldn't have booked this room, and certainly not at this price!
