01/05/2026: After sightseeing, we stopped at the restaurant and were the first to arrive. We were served last, and the meat we ordered was soggy, and the desserts were reserved for regulars…! If you're a tourist or just passing through, definitely avoid this place.

11/05/2026: Incredible value for money! A buffet menu with appetizers, a daily special, and cheese or dessert for €14, and the sea just 100 meters away—what more could you ask for? This will be our go-to spot during the Jazz sous les Pommiers festival! 🍎🍎🍎

24/04/2026: V good moules frites. Gives plenty of both, lovely guy too. Nice vibe in the restaurant. We got takeaway. Big pot, munch on beach, give back to him. Scrumptious.

01/06/2026: A complete disappointment. The fish soup contained no fish, just a cloudy broth with little flavor. The beef was riddled with sinew, and the sauce for the beef was the same as for the duck. The dessert was tasteless, and to top it all off, I was charged €12 for a small bottle of beer. The waitress didn't even bother to ask if we enjoyed our meal.

30/05/2026: The welcome and service are warm. The cuisine offers a wonderful gastronomic experience. However, the pop music is truly annoying as it makes conversation difficult at the tables. I'm really disappointed by this, as Café de Paris is considered one of the best restaurants in Cherbourg. Why insist on filling the space with a constant stream of music?

24/05/2026: Hello, I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding our experience at your establishment. The service was very poor from beginning to end. The waitress was unfriendly and unwelcoming, and we felt like we were bothering her throughout the entire meal. Furthermore, the meat served was practically raw, even though it wasn't cooked to our liking. Despite our complaint, no real effort was made to rectify the situation. The most disappointing aspect is that no compensation was offered despite these obvious problems. This is regrettable given the overall poor experience. It should be shameful to serve such a tasteless dish. We hope that this feedback will be taken into account to improve the quality of service and food in the future.

20/05/2026: Very disappointed. Main course, dessert (pre-packaged), no alcohol or coffee... €70 for 3 people. The duck parmentier was very dry, the beef was rare... medium-rare, and the steak tartare was prepared without any explanation of the seasoning; the waiter couldn't tell us. The daily specials board only offered one meat dish. A fish option would have been preferable. It used to be better! We won't be going back.

30/05/2026: The food was decent. The beef bourguignon could have used an hour more of cooking time. A warm welcome from a very friendly owner. The restaurant has been renovated and has a pleasant decor.

27/04/2026: A very nice hotel and restaurant, charmingly old-fashioned and tasteful. Everything is perfect; the owner, the chef, and Amandine are all fantastic. In the kitchen, from the outside, it's not "Hands off the loot," but rather "Hands off the chef's knife." Audiard could have written it. 😉 Keep up the good work, it's perfect.

13/06/2026: Very good restaurant, very fine and refined dishes, but when we are offered drinks, they could bring us the price list to avoid surprises and the owner does not take care of people who do not order the tea that she absolutely wants to sell.

11/06/2026: We had known about this restaurant for a while but only had the chance to visit this past week during a recent trip to Normandie...and it was well worth the wait. Everything exceeded expectations: the setting, the service, and especially the famous cuisine of chef Philippe Hardy and the careful attentions of his spouse, Nadia, who deserve their hard-earned Michelin star with their distinctive and creative menu, hyper-local ingredients, and warm and welcoming hospitality. My husband and I are both musicians and found the whole experience like an exquisite, multi-layered composition, "une symphonie véritable des délices!," as we told Madame Hardy on leaving. We made our selections from two different menus -- and both were filled with delightful surprises, from the copious and delicious amuses gueules to the extraordinary bread ritual, with its rare smoked butters, salts, spices, and honey, to the perfectly proportioned entrées and plats, and beautifully subtle fish preparations, followed by discrete desserts (with possibly the best île flottante I have ever tasted) along with parting sweets. Amazing. For those wanting to extend the pleasure, there was also a Japanese tea ritual on offer, which we did not choose, but watched others enjoy, so it will be something to try next time. This restaurant, despite its extremely high standard of execution, was also surprisingly relaxed and unpretentious. It should definitely be on every list of "addresses incontournables." We cannot wait to return.

09/06/2026: A very good experience, we arrived by chance and were warmly welcomed despite not having booked, and the meal was very good (mussels and fries followed by profiteroles for dessert).

15/12/2025: What an incredible restaurant! You can't find better in Granville. Plus, it's perfectly located on the Plat Gousset. And the chef—let's talk about him! He's practically Paul Bocuse, but funnier! The owner, Renaud, is a very good waiter; he should do stand-up comedy on the side—he's very funny too. That's all, kisses!

23/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! This quiet little restaurant with a terrace is nestled in the heart of the Sienne Valley 🤩 A very warm and friendly welcome. Simple cuisine, a pleasant atmosphere where you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. A truly authentic little place, the kind that is sadly becoming increasingly rare. Thank you to the people of Vendée!

24/05/2026: A very personal sense of hospitality… we wanted a table in the shade, the owner made no effort to accommodate us (even though the terrace was empty), we had the choice between the blazing sun or inside, all served with a big smile that said “if you are not happy you can go somewhere else”, advice which we eagerly followed.

11/04/2026: We went there as a family of six for my dad's 90th birthday. The meal was superb, the food excellent, and the price reasonable. The view of Mont Saint-Michel and the Tombelaine rock was magnificent. We received a very warm welcome, and I highly recommend it.
