09/12/2025: Le Vertugadin has become a traditional stop for me at the start of a weekend in Normandy. Located a stone's throw from the stables of the Château de Chantilly, this French restaurant remains a sure bet. The service is dynamic, friendly, and efficient: nothing to complain about. The cuisine is excellent, with a real selection and high-quality ingredients, perfectly executed. This time, I opted for the set menu; the value for money was truly competitive for an establishment of this caliber. I had previously ordered à la carte and it was a delight, but on the other hand, the prices quickly add up: the Tournedos Rossini alone, I believe, exceeded the price of two complete set menus (starter/main course/dessert + drinks). It's a very good place. The only slight drawback: the decor. A mix of antiques, vintage finds, and more modern, sometimes surprising, elements (special mention to the men's restrooms…surprising, original, but not in the best taste), creates a somewhat cluttered impression and doesn't really tell a coherent story. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserves a more harmonious setting. That said, the spacious dining room and the terrace in summer are a real plus. An address I still recommend for the quality of its cuisine and service.

07/12/2025: A pleasant and very good restaurant. The atmosphere and the welcome were warm. There was a wide selection of dishes, starters and desserts, and everything was really good.

30/11/2025: I had reserved Picardy-style crepes, the "lamb shank" menu, and a giant éclair. Everything was perfect, very good, and the portions were generous. We're not usually fans of lamb, but this...it was succulent! The whole family enjoyed it.

29/11/2025: Never disappointed! The prepared dishes, the tarama, and especially the house-smoked salmon are fantastic!! Unbeatable value for money. And the portions are generous. Just give it a try.

What a joy to savor seasonal vegetables, especially those from the garden! The seasonings were delicate and unexpected. The staff were charming, attentive, and always smiling. We felt completely at ease. The setting is lovely, and we truly savored the moment. Thank you for the thoughtful gesture on our son's birthday. The service is impeccable; Karima and Yoan are smiling, attentive, and very professional (thank you again for your thoughtful touches for my birthday). And the food… pure bliss, a true symphony of flavors! The chef recommended the sole meunière, and my taste buds will remember it for a long time. 19/11/2025: There were errors in calculating my bill. They blamed me. They slammed the receipt on the counter, telling me I had better things to do in front of other customers. I ended up paying over 2 euros more. They refused to do anything about it.

27/12/2025: The food and service were perfect, top-notch! One small drawback: the bar is very poorly located. It was extremely crowded, blocking the entrance and exit of the restaurant. The bar area is too small, I think.

Refined cuisine with high-quality flavor. The wine list is decent and reasonably priced. This level of service is becoming rare these days. We left satisfied with this establishment, which I highly recommend.
