12/12/2025: We were looking for a place to spend a lovely evening together for our wedding anniversary. We chose this gourmet restaurant in Beauvais. We weren't disappointed. "Gastronomic" is the perfect word. We opted for the €70 set menu. On the advice of the staff, we didn't choose any dishes to be surprised by what was served. For the wines, and on their recommendation, we were served a 50.50 white and a Saint-Estèphe red. The meal was a succession of courses (eight in total), each with very fragrant flavors and enhanced by herbs... Salmon to start, followed by foie gras, and we were already delighted. Then came the pike-perch, which delighted us, accompanied by a light and flavorful garnish. To accompany our red wine, we had an extremely tender beef fillet, topped with mushrooms on a rosette of mashed potatoes. Blueberry ice cream with small pieces of fruit, and to finish, the chef's delicious Paris-Brest. It was an unforgettable evening for us, a culinary delight in an elegant setting where the service was impeccable from beginning to end. We will definitely be back.

09/12/2025: Le Vertugadin has become a traditional stop for me at the start of a weekend in Normandy. Located a stone's throw from the stables of the Château de Chantilly, this French restaurant remains a sure bet. The service is dynamic, friendly, and efficient: nothing to complain about. The cuisine is excellent, with a real selection and high-quality ingredients, perfectly executed. This time, I opted for the set menu; the value for money was truly competitive for an establishment of this caliber. I had previously ordered à la carte and it was a delight, but on the other hand, the prices quickly add up: the Tournedos Rossini alone, I believe, exceeded the price of two complete set menus (starter/main course/dessert + drinks). It's a very good place. The only slight drawback: the decor. A mix of antiques, vintage finds, and more modern, sometimes surprising, elements (special mention to the men's restrooms…surprising, original, but not in the best taste), creates a somewhat cluttered impression and doesn't really tell a coherent story. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserves a more harmonious setting. That said, the spacious dining room and the terrace in summer are a real plus. An address I still recommend for the quality of its cuisine and service.

30/11/2025: I had reserved Picardy-style crepes, the "lamb shank" menu, and a giant éclair. Everything was perfect, very good, and the portions were generous. We're not usually fans of lamb, but this...it was succulent! The whole family enjoyed it.

29/11/2025: Never disappointed! The prepared dishes, the tarama, and especially the house-smoked salmon are fantastic!! Unbeatable value for money. And the portions are generous. Just give it a try.

What a joy to savor seasonal vegetables, especially those from the garden! The seasonings were delicate and unexpected. The staff were charming, attentive, and always smiling. We felt completely at ease. The setting is lovely, and we truly savored the moment. Thank you for the thoughtful gesture on our son's birthday. The service is impeccable; Karima and Yoan are smiling, attentive, and very professional (thank you again for your thoughtful touches for my birthday). And the food… pure bliss, a true symphony of flavors! The chef recommended the sole meunière, and my taste buds will remember it for a long time. Everything is bought at the organic market right next door. You'd think you were in a 5-star restaurant, except here you'll be more than satisfied.

07/12/2025: First dinner at this magnificent inn this Saturday, December 6th. The place is very pleasant, the tables are spaced far apart, allowing for comfortable conversation and a truly welcoming atmosphere. We opted to give the chef free rein, and wow… it was a festival of flavors, each one more succulent than the last: surprising amuse-bouches, two divine starters, a delicious main course, and two incredible desserts. This dinner was the best I've ever had. Thank you to the chef and his team, who are true culinary magicians, and thank you for the impeccable service. I can't wait to return and enjoy another wonderful meal. See you soon!

19/11/2025: This is the 3rd or 4th time we have come to eat here, always a pleasure, top-notch staff, very good food, there is also what you need in terms of quantity, nothing to complain about.

19/11/2025: There were errors in calculating my bill. They blamed me. They slammed the receipt on the counter, telling me I had better things to do in front of other customers. I ended up paying over 2 euros more. They refused to do anything about it.

21/08/2024: The only good restaurant in the village. Very friendly people, cozy and pleasant. Coincidentally ended up here during our journey where other restaurants were closed or could only get pizza or kebab. Only thing is that the price of the drinks was a bit above average (4, - for a soft drink) crepe sucre about 3.25, -. If you happen to come to the village, you can certainly go here well!

16/12/2024: I ate in this brasserie and I was sick all night, very salty salmon pizza and probably not very fresh… given the attack of vomiting… I do not recommend this place at the moment which is much too expensive to vomit my meals all night….
